A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 62 (First KvK in K411)

After many events, the K411 kingdom poured into a late red every morning. Our Lord didn't feel at home and would have to get used to the murky weather, always under a truce to protect his lands.

It was obvious that threatening messages were arriving soon due to the attacks he launched against the kingdom's dominant alliances, but let's remember that it wasn't just him.

His friends were also there, although they didn't attack as much as our Lord did due to lack of time, but they were or would be present in case a rally against a strong Lord or in defense of ours arose.

However, there was still another threat that bothered our Lord because it took away his prey, and this was "Seanaldo."

A Lord belonging to NCR, he seemed at first glance to be an alliance of merit hunters. At first glance, he was not as active, but little by little, our Lord saw that the enemies he wanted to burn were quickly taken by the other invader.

It was like a competition...

But there was little time to worry about that, as our Lord was also simultaneously testing this kingdom, as the "War of the Realms" was approaching. This event was important to our Lord and the main reason he was coming here.

Since this happened, it was decided that he, like Darksama, was too bored in the other kingdom they were currently in. Leaving the rest of his HHH allies behind, he would go and have fun in another kingdom with a larger population.

It was a matter of preparing for battle. Our Lord adopted the old strategy he used with his previous war friends, which was to stay away or position himself in a blind spot so they wouldn't see him and then attack from there.

He also counted on the fact that the rest of the kingdom's population wouldn't support him, as he was hated like any other invader who would come to burn their lands.

The main objective was to obtain as many combat pieces as would be awarded in this KvK (War of the Realms) event, to improve his combat emblems and have greater attack power. The second option was to finish first to obtain a Grand Frame, which is awarded to the champion with the highest score in the War of the Kingdoms.

This time he would fight against Kingdom K378. He couldn't quite see where the enemies were, but in King's Landing, he would see enemies too strong for him, so he would have to be careful...

Another option he took was for both kingdoms to fight first. Since he wouldn't have any castles in between, he was practically invisible to the enemy.

After a while, our Lord would appear and would also apply the technique of an old war companion, which was to attack the castles. Highgarden and others would be involved in this.

In which he would take the best prizes our Lord had ever had in battle, and he couldn't even believe how well he was doing.

Obviously, before the attack, he had to study the Lords holding the castles, due to the fact that there were castles where they didn't have main Lords with their stats and were only commanders and troops.

There was the best prize…

After several attacks, the enemies of the enemy kingdom noticed our presence, so our champions formed up in front of them. This time, QUEEN would rally.

Since one of them was a Lancer, and he was the one with the greatest chance of winning, the rally was immediately formed, just waiting for the attack.

However, the enemy, standing still and only retreating troops, wasn't in a frenzy, so the moment the rally began, this active truce was maintained.

Our Lords were somewhat disappointed; obviously, it was also a matter of blind faith, given that they wouldn't know if QUEEN could win; more Lords would be needed to fill his rally.

The battle was evenly matched, as the majority of Kingdom K411 was dedicated to agriculture, and the other kingdom was having trouble taking castles.

Mentioning the points our Lord made by eliminating so many enemy troops in the great castles.

They were aware of King's Landing, where most of the enemies were always occupying it so as not to lose it after the KvK.

Until our Lord saw another castle without a shield, apparently active and a trap castle. Our Lord was pumped with adrenaline, but something inside him told him not to rally.

First, because the other kingdom had many active Lords fighting, while in K411 there were only our Lord, his friends, and the other invader Seanald, who, incidentally, was also cavalry, not as strong as our Lord, but always actively fighting.

So, he decided to rally against this Lord. He didn't know anything about why he was with the anti-scout. He was a mystery, but he had a lot of power and little merit, so our Lord assumed he was a weak Lord who could easily win.

Lord Three would quickly position their partners just as the other would be attacking a kingdom ally, who would be involved in the event at the time.

The enemy was so frightened that they retreated, but they would be there and would have Speed Rally, accelerators to reduce the time it took to reach the attack point.

But their trust was so great that it ended badly…

Our Lord would lose all his troops in combat, and he had to disappear quickly before the enemies gained the necessary confidence and counterattacked.

So he had his commander take poison and then revive him, to see if he could fight again.

The same would happen with QUEEN and Darksama, who couldn't be there. The risk was less for them, but if they launched a raid against them, our Lord wouldn't be able to reinforce them either.

Because of the risk of now being just a castle with troops, no stats, nothing...

From there, the report leaked out, revealing a castle well-reinforced by archers and a Combat Index far superior to our Lord's, meaning he was unable to confront the enemy.

He practically had no chance against such a large number of enemy troops...

This would be a disappointment, given the fact that the battle could not be turned around; the enemies had taken so many points that it was practically impossible to retake them.

So, in order to score points from his friends, our Lord would later take a castle, and that would be the end of the battle of the kingdoms...

In a Defeat...

The results of the battle were rushed, and our Lord ended up having fun, but there was a particular point here: this time he wasn't disappointed.

He also knew there are always casualties in battles, so he accepted it calmly and had to support his friends in rebuilding the troops lost during their rally.

The most important thing for our Lord, which I'd already mentioned, was the pieces, of which he acquired many.

K411 may have lost, but it ended up being a very fun kingdom for our Lord, who decided to stay there for a while.

In conclusion, our Lord was overconfident for the moment, driven by adrenaline. Everything would have been great if it hadn't been for that bad rally, and the course of the battle would have changed drastically.

There were Lords of comparable or far superior strength to our Lord, but they didn't fight, which also contributed to the battle.

As a recommendation, it's never a good idea to rush into combat. Adrenaline always clouds judgment. There are always Lords who are too strong or capable of average strength, but against a rally, they always fight at home and their troops are excessively larger.

That's why it's always good to analyze it and, if you don't have exploration, don't take that risk. Although, well, even the best sometimes experience this issue.

Taking advantage of new kingdoms, being greater in power is good, and taking advantage of these events, like KvK in this case, is great for increasing your stats.

That's all for this week!

See you next time!
