The sun was slowly disappearing on the horizon, casting bloody colors across the sky: a harbinger of the coming battle. Another round of the Arena of Honor, and I prepared to defend the title of King of Glory, hard-won after countless challenges in previous matches.
The third season was approaching its halfway point, and numerous legendary warriors from Westeros were appearing in the overall rankings. But our team, defying all predictions, and through synchronized teamwork, made our way to Glory. In this match, we would maintain our old strategy: act offensively against everything and everyone, and ensure our dominance over the map.
Given the uncertainty of our enemies, we would have full infantry and cavalry marches available. Even though our team lacked t5 troops, we knew that our strengths would have to be respected. I would use my infantry with a bleed synergy. Sinara, Rhea and Kevin formed a perfect combo (while the Old Gods still don't allow me to have Jaqen xD). Latz added the ability to heal my troops during combat. In turn, in our alternative strategy, Lord Agamemnon would lead his cavalry with a weakness synergy. And Lord Marcelus would be responsible for managing the fortifications and orchestrating our team...

Just before the match started, the usual checklist... Lord Marcelus checked if everyone was available.
- We'll register the team in 15 min!
We soon confirmed that a fixed member, our friend, Lord FrankTU, would be absent ("footnote": come back soon, or we'll hunt you down lol). Quickly, I sent a raven to Lord Agamemon.
- Heyy, bring your "little" squire back
Such an account, despite its appearance, always had a great score within the team. And I was especially pleased, because I would have yet another reinforcement for my infantry. As an additional warning, I suggested this time not to be responsible for holding our Clan castle.
- Marcelus, could you take on that role? I want both my marches free to hit our enemies!
Agreed, Marcelus would use his 2nd march for such a task. About to enter the battlefield, in addition to checking my equipment, I activated Sapphira's army size buff for the first time. I intended to use my maximum strength. As we entered the field, we would defend the ancestral house Stark. Quickly, from the icy North, our eyes turned to our opponents. Once again, we would face powerful enemies. Apparently, some factions were a closed group, which represented an obstacle if they displayed efficient teamwork.

When the match started, we rushed to the camps, and some to our Clan Castle. I was skeptical about the risk of losing our castle, so I decided to send my troops to speed up the construction of our camps. Soon after, we observed our opponents' actions again, and a ray of hope appeared. All the enemy clans had built trading posts!! In other words, we would have no resistance to control the first buildings.
When the second row of fortifications opened together with the Altars of the Stranger, Lord Agamemnon and I sought to assess our enemy's strength by focusing on these altars. While I, a little late, withdrew my troops from the camps, Lord Agamemnon's cavalry was heavily hit at our own altar. The first challenge arose... the enemy had t5 troops! But since I was a spearman, it was up to me to retaliate... Then the enemy tried to hit me again, but failed miserably!

My Infantry with Bleed synergy versus [WJB] Jorobadillo spearmen with Weakness synergy. Despite t5 troops and superior stats, the contactor greatly favored me, and I defeated him with a large advantage.
New reports showed more players with t5 spearmen. Apparently, for my amusement, it would be up to me to fight for Glory City. Personally, I was already tired of so many cavs in the previous matches!😂The fight for the altars intensified as the bubbles started to fall. And soon a report came that put me on alert! A strong infantry of Lord Frack1964 also using bleed synergy, and to make the situation more complicated, the enemy had t5 troops. Such a defeat planted doubts in me about our ability to fight for the GC.

Inf and inf using bleed synergy, but enemy had T5 troops
At this point, we were in last place, as we were the only team without any trading posts. But this did not worry me, and soon our strategy began to work. We easily captured the Watchtowers and Catapults. We also had some skirmishes at the Dragonpits.

But our attention shifted to the Greyjoy Clan Castle when our attacks weakened it. We quickly took control of the enemy house, and I also sought to control some of their fortifications.

The game continued at a frantic pace, in other words, in true chaos, due to the fighting in all the altars and other buildings. And soon, the protection of the City of Glory would fall... When the bubble finally disappeared, the doubt arose again between maintaining a continuous flow of points, or wasting energy fighting in the center of the map.

It is time! - Marcelus warned me and Aga to start the mobilizations.
But I waited a few moments until the Baratheon clan tried to take control of the City. We sent out a scout, and when he returned he reported what I had already expected: a full line of spearmen with t5 troops and senior commanders. Without any fear, I began my mobilization, and waited for reinforcements from my teammates. When the rally was complete, I launched my attack... holding my breath as the troops marched towards the center.
Our attack was brutal. The walls of Glory City shook terrifyingly with the impact of our army. Our troops burst through the city gate in a huge explosion. With our victory, we raise the Stark flag over the city.

Infantry vs Spear: despite the enemy having T5 troops, they were not able to withstand the counterattack of my infantry.
- We get the City!! Everyone send reinforcements quickly!!
The next challenge would be even more difficult. Enemy hordes were heading towards us. Now, we would have to defend the City. And countless solo attacks and mobilizations hit us every second/minute. Time dragged slowly, but our forces resisted each enemy wave. And finally, when the protective bubble appeared, we all breathed a sigh of relief and celebrated effusively.

We now had time to renew our troops within the City, and assess the situation on the rest of the map. In the meantime, we lost and conquered the Greyjoy clan castle; we also fought over several altars. But our leadership was indisputable... When the GC bubble collapsed again, new mobilizations hit us. Wave after wave. This required everyone's attention to keep enough troops inside the castle. Would we be able to maintain control over the City until the end?
Red alerts were constant. Enemies sending scouts to spy on our defenses, solo attacks and strong mobilizations.
Until a strong mobilization led by [Nmd] Lord Kampfzwerg hit us. It was a bloody clash, in which Kampfzwerg achieved a victory with a slight advantage.

Despite the disadvantage against infantry, the T5 spearmen combined with superior commanders managed to overcome my infantry formed only by T4, and whose troops inside the City had already suffered great attrition.
As we mobilized to counterattack, the enemy was unable to maintain control over Glory City. And soon, [WJB] Lord Ross Poldark took over using spearmen as well. So we quickly adjusted, and I sent out a new mobilization. My attack was devastating, and the enemy spearmen quickly fell to the strength of our infantry.

We continued to resist, until Aysun's strong cavalry reached me.

Hey Aga, it's time for you to use your cavalry too - I said
Lord Aga momentarily took control of the city, until a new attack by Lord Kampfzwerg's spearmen drove him back. It would be my turn to exact revenge for the first battle! The first battle had been evenly matched. Would I be able to win this time?

My infantry charged heavily toward the center of the battle. I spent diamonds to speed our march toward the enemy barriers. As my infantry struck, the sound of steel on steel reverberated, and in the end, once again, we raised the banner of House Stark over Glory City! But the battle did not end, the enemies continued to attack us. Lord Aysun attacked me again with his cavalry, but he was unable to maintain control of the city, which fell once more. When I launched another attack, Lord Ross Poldark was besieging the City.

My infantry easily defeated him, and we sealed our conquest. The match was nearing its end, and the enemies were already recognizing our victory! We dominated the City of Glory, Towers, catapults and countless altars. In the end, we reached the 200k point mark, and our dominance was uncontested.
Great job, guys. Enjoy the rewards! - I celebrated
Such a victory once again confirmed our title of Kings of Glory! We knew that we still had many challenges to overcome, countless T5s to kill, but tonight would be a night of celebration!

Valar morghulis!
