SIEGE OF WINTERFELL | SEASON 15 FINALE | NBe vs WxC!

Lord and Ladies, welcome to the most anticipated clash in Siege of Winterfell Season 15. Tonight, we have the two most furious and steadfast teams in all of Westeros, fighting for your pleasure. The two teams we have for you today are NBe and WxC, both dispatched of their opponents and now one of them is looking to become your champion! NBe is led by the powerhouse MUSADra999, even though they are the underdogs, he believes NBe have the chance to silence the doubters. On the other side we have WxC, the clear favorites, led by the feared imperialrock, he believes WxC are about to take another title, winning Alliance Conquest not so long ago, he wishes to add Siege of Winterfell to his collection. Who will rise to the occasion and claim victory? The stage is set and the siege is about to begin!

MUSADra999 has come up with a plan to give NBe the best possible chance at victory, “our focus will be the strongholds, if we keep control of them for the majority of the match, we should win,” MUSADra999 believes if his team keeps the package contested for long enough, the points from the strongholds would mitigate the loss of the package. Siege of Winterfell has a symmetrical battlefield, both sides have two outposts and two strongholds on their side with the Armory and Hotspring on the left and right side respectively with Winterfell itself directly in the middle. The team which controls these structures will accumulate points per minute, also a package from Winterfell which when delivered also provides points, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins. Will NBe’s new tactics be enough to overcome WxC’s undeniable dominance?

TheOnlyKing is second in command and wants the team to focus more on the package, “if we give up on the package, we will just be giving them free points, “TheOnlyKing has a disagreement with MUSADra999 but to avoid disharmony, he only made his stance clear to MUSADra999 himself. Will this divergence between the leadership cause the downfall of NBe? If NBe’s leaders find alignment mid-battle, they could shock all of Westeros. On the other hand, if this disagreement gets out of control, WxC could pounce on NBe’s open wounds. 

On the other side, imperialrock known for his dominance on the battlefield was confident in his side, “we will dominate Winterfell and take what is ours, as long as we control the middle of the battlefield we will win this match,” imperialrock had been through important matches before and knew what it took to win them. If WxC secures the Winterfell area, NBe will be forced into desperate, disorganised attacks playing right into imperialrock’s hands. His plan is sound but will NBe crumble once they lose the centre or will they surround WxC and collapse on them from all sides? The siege of Winterfell is about to begin and the fate of both alliances hangs in the balance. Lords and Ladies prepare yourselves for the finals of the Siege of Winterfell. 

The match got underway with both sides splitting into two groups heading towards the Armory and Hotsprings respectively. “They won’t see it coming, fake heading towards the Armory and Hotsprings but our main objective is getting our small squads behind them to take their outposts,” MUSADra999 was going to use the bulk of his army to hold them at the main objective while taking the rest of the battlefield. As WxC met NBe at both objectives, imperialrock noticed something, “we are winning at both objectives, they will be ours, this is too easy, keep your eyes open, they are up to something,” imperialrock could sense something in his core, it troubled him, perhaps only leaders can sense danger before it happens, if only he saw the smaller squads move around his huge army. “They have fallen for the bait, once we take their outposts, they will further split up and we can move them around the battlefield,” TheOnlyKing was pleased with how things were going, even though they lost both Armory and Hotsprings to WxC, the plan to cause panic and split WxC into smaller groups seemed to have worked. 

The first package became the next point of contention with both sides converging on Winterfell, “the time is now to put our plan into action, delay the first delivery of the package and take the rest of the battlefield, “MUSADra999 was waiting for this moment, the trap had been set and it would be up to WxC to see through the plans of NBe or fall for the oldest trick in the book. As the map started to change from the banners of WxC to NBe, imperialrock remained at the battle of the first package, “we are slowly moving it towards our side of the map, this may take some time but with each package deliverer slain, we get closer to our goal,” imperialrock hadn’t noticed each stronghold and outpost being fought over, he was only focused on the package. 

Several minutes had passed since the first package had been picked up for the first time, “this is taking a lot longer than I thought it would, “imperialrock started to notice that things were no longer in their favor but he had no choice but to follow on through till the end. The pace was relentless around the battlefield, each stronghold and outpost becoming a new point of contention, “they can’t match us around the map, we have sent our strongest members to kill the package holder while the rest of us fight for everything else, “TheOnlyKing could already see the points gap growing in his favor but knew the longer they could stall the package, the further they would be in the lead.

The first package would eventually be delivered by WxC but only after an outstanding 12 minutes had passed since the package spawned, “we are only 4k points behind them but they have taken over the map, we need to rectify this as quickly as possible, “imperialrock was starting the feel the heat, even though they had delivered the first package it felt like an uphill battle. As the siege rages on, can WxC find their footing once again and dominate or will NBe’s relentless aggression around the map be one step too far? 

With half the match flying by, the second package would now become crucial for both sides, “let’s see if they have learnt anything yet, send our best again, they are the only ones that can quickly slay the package holder and survive, “TheOnlyKing was hoping for some adaptation from WxC, even he was surprised at how well his plan was executed so far. “They are here again, it’s the same members sir,” one of the elite WxC members shouted to his commanders, “so these are the only ones, they bring here, the others roam the rest of the battlefield, “imperialrock could see NBe’s plan but didn’t have anything to counter it, all he could do was make sure WxC could deliver the second package. The armies clashed while snow fell onto their steel armor, “don’t forget if one of us manages to pick up the package move towards our side of the map,” TheOnlyKing ordered his elite group to engage WxC’s package holder. “Make sure we attack each member together, the more attacks on one of them the faster they will fall,” imperialrock was readying his forces for the defence of the package but in the back of his mind he knew the rest of the map would become forfeit to NBe. Everything was falling into place for NBe, they had positioned WxC to taking a defensive stance while they remained aggressive. 

The battle for the second package had gone on for several minutes, “the gap has crossed 10k, continue with the plan, they have no answers, “MUSADra999 was already in a celebratory mood, he felt like he had put WxC in a check mate position, one they had no way of getting out of. “We can’t allow NBe to deliver the package and we can’t contest the rest of the battlefield, we have to find a solution to this fast,” imperialrock could see the writing on the wall, if only he had changed his tactics faster, he would not be forced to stay with the package. As for NBe, the path to victory seems all but assured. The elite forces of NBe continue to stall the package, leaving WxC with little room to counter. As the snow falls and the battle rages on, NBe’s tactics shines through as they continue to gain a larger and larger lead. 

With only 15 minutes remaining, the crucial 10k gap remained, “it’s a close match, we can still win, we are taking much of the map back under our control, “imperialrock was hoping for a miracle at this point, even though WxC were securing much of the map it was far too late, even if they somehow managed to deliver the third package, they would still be behind in terms of points. “Just stall them at Winterfell, we don’t want to fall at the final hurdle,” TheOnlyKing couldn’t hide his delight, he was laughing while ordering his comrades, he knew NBe had done something special. The snow had finally stopped but only one side would be celebrating its end as time was running out for WxC, can they mount an epic comeback in the final minutes, only time will tell. 

The time had come for WxC to show what they were made of, “this is not working, we need to spread out and take bases, the package is not worth the hassle, “a disgruntled member of WxC whispered to himself, he dares not spread discontent within the ranks. “I have to admit, we were beaten here today, they were better than us, even if we deliver this package, the gap is far too big, I’m glad it was a team like NBe, they showed us a different way of controlling a match,” imperialrock was humble in his words but the rage that he had inside himself was wishing to burst out. The third package would not get the chance to be delivered as time ran out and all of us here have witnessed something great, a changing of the guard. 

The match came to an end, NBe had done the impossible and beat the reigning champions and they had done it in epic fashion, “I knew this tactic would work, they just couldn’t give up on the package,” TheOnlyKing couldn’t believe his eyes, his team had become champions of Westeros and it was his plan that made that possible. “Be proud of what we have done today, our plan went flawlessly and now is the time to celebrate,” MUSADra999 always believed in his team and it was no surprise to him that he was on the victorious team.

On the other side of the battlefield, WxC seemed deflated but the former champions still held their head up high, “we won Alliance Conquest easily but Siege of Winterfell needs a few improvements, we won’t fall for these tactics again, I’m glad we learnt something, “imperialrock knew his team was close but not close enough and losing didn’t come easy to him but what else would you expect from a champion.

Today the bells of NBe ring throughout Westeros, a victory earned not by chance but by cunning and unbreakable will, well done to our champions and don’t forget season 16 is only around the corner.
