Welcome to Honors Corner!!

Hey there, my wonderful Lords and Ladies of Norheim! I hope you’re all having an amazing week. It’s been quite a busy one for me, but thankfully, I got to enjoy a lovely weekend to recharge.

Despite the craziness, I’ve been checking on my marches, and thinking about some adjustments I might need. As we all know, Infinity Kingdom is constantly evolving, and it’s easy for some details to slip through the cracks.

That brings me to today’s topic: I’ve decided to switch up my primary march! With this change, I’m researching meta-marches to establish the best direction. I have changed from Lightning to Earth Theodora Himiko. It has been an arduous transition, changing the primary march, but sometimes you need to rip the band-aid. Grab a cuppa, and let's begin.

Mastering the Meta: Building a March for Early to End-Game

In Infinity Kingdom, victory isn't just about powerful Immortals—it's about building a meta march that evolves with the game. Whether battling in KVK, facing powerful bosses, or challenging top-tier players, a well-structured march makes all the difference.

This guide will break down

✔️ What a meta march is & why it matters

✔️ How to build a march that suits your spending level

✔️ How to adapt from early to late game

✔️ Why dragon selection is critical to long-term success

✔️ How to optimise your build with Immortal specialisation, skills, and artifacts

If you're F2P, mid-spender, or P2P, this guide will help you build a strong, adaptable march that can stand the test of time.

1️⃣ What is a Meta March & Why Does It Matter?

A meta march is the most effective team composition based on current game trends, synergy, and balance updates. It's not a fixed setup—it evolves with new patches, skills, and Immortals.

Why is a meta-march important?

🔹Stronger Performance: Meta marches maximise damage, survivability, and effectiveness in PvP and PvE.

🔹Competitive Edge: Players using optimised marches have a higher chance of winning against top opponents.

🔹Resource Efficiency: Investing in a meta march ensures your upgrades remain useful long-term.

💡 How often do you check leaderboards or battle reports to see what top players use?

If we compare Apollos, the difference comes down to accuracy and how many hits. Although, the winning march was 1.2 mil per hit, had a 92% accuracy rate and more hits vs enemy with 88% accuracy. Fu Fei vs Fu Fei, the winner healed 13 ml vs 2 mil, a long with Athena 25 mil, plus skills all went to provide good offence and defence.

2️⃣ Choosing the Right Dragon: A Game-Changer for Your March

Your dragon choice is one of the most important early-game decisions you'll make. Dragons provide march-wide buffs, and their talent trees significantly impact a team's effectiveness. Switching dragons later is expensive and time-consuming, so picking the right one early can save you resources and set you up for long-term success.

Why Earth is the Best All-Around Choice for F2P & Mid-Spenders

✔️Sustainability: The Earth Dragon provides healing, allowing longer fights and reducing losses.

✔️Adaptability: Earth synergy can transition into different march types, making it future-proof.

✔️Strong in PvE & PvP: Healing and damage mitigation make it a solid choice for all content.

✔️ Better for Long-Term Growth: Will be effective in early-game and relevant in late-game strategies.

Understanding the Dragon Talent Tree

Your dragon's talent tree allows you to customise its buffs. A well-developed dragon can:

Increase Immortal damage output

Provide healing and sustain

Enhance elemental synergy

Improve defensive capabilities

A completed Earth dragon tree: exemplifies the effectiveness of the Attributes and how they’ll synergise with Immortals in your march. I have not covered the significance of Dragon Portraits in this article and will be covered in follow-up articles. We can see how each Portrait level will influence the attributes of the dragon, Accuracy, Resilience etc.

💡 Tip: Focus on synergy—if you're running an Earth march, invest in Earth Dragon talents that enhance defence and healing.

💡Have you fully optimised your dragon talent tree, or are you still experimenting with different paths?

3️⃣ Building a Meta March: What You Need to Know

🔹 Research and Adaptation

- Stay updated with patch notes, community discussions, and top-ranked teams.

- Analyze skill synergies—some Immortals work better together than others.

- Test different builds—don't assume one setup is perfect for every situation.

You have the ability in the Training Camp, to set skills, Equipement and Artfact level. We wait to see what will happen with the Training Camp, but it will be interesting to see more flexibility, being able to test Immortals you don’t have, or increasing the Enemy level. It does not give a true refelction of a PvP battle, so remember to take into consideration and adjust accordingly your march build.

🔹 Choosing the Right Immortals

Your spending level determines which meta march you should aim for:

- P2P (Pay-to-Play): Chaos or Holy builds with maxed dragons and exclusive artifacts.

- Mid-Spender: Himiko + Theodora or Himiko + Fu Fei builds for high burst damage.

- F2P / Low-Spender: Earth synergy with Zenobia, Qin, or Charles the Great for sustainability.

💡 Tip: Focus on a balanced team composition—damage dealers, tanks, and support units must work together.

🔹 Artifacts & Skill Optimization

- Equip Immortals with artifacts that boost their strengths (e.g., damage dealers with crit gear, tanks with HP/defence boosts).

- Use passive skills that counter the current meta (e.g., stun resistance against CC-heavy teams).

💡 Have you experimented with different passive skills to see which ones work best for your team?

4️⃣ Adapting Your March: Early to Late Game

The meta shifts as new updates, skills, and dragons enter the game. Here's how to future-proof your march from early to late-game.

🔹 Early-Game Strategy

✅ Start with Earth or Water synergy— both strong, easy to build, and sustainable.

✅ Invest in flexible skills that can be transferred to better Immortals later.

✅ Focus on developing your dragon—it's a major power boost for your march.

💡 Tip: If you're not a high spender, Earth is the best dragon for long-term use due to its adaptability and healing capabilities.

🔹 Late-Game Strategy

✅ Adjust to the meta—if certain teams dominate, tweak your lineup to counter them.

✅ Upgrade exclusive artifacts to maximise immortal effectiveness.

✅ Optimize passive skills to maintain synergy and counter high-damage teams.

✅ Have flexible setups—switch between multiple marches based on your opponent.

💡 Have you started preparing for late-game transitions, or are you still focused on early progression?

5️⃣ Immortal Specialization & Why It's Crucial for the Meta

Each Immortal has a unique talent tree, allowing customisation based on offence, defence, or utility. Specialisation helps upgrade an Immortal's strengths and ensures synergy with the rest of your team.

🔹 Key Factors in Specialization

✅ Maximizing Role Efficiency – Ensure each Immortal fits their role (DPS, tank, or support).

✅ Synergy with the Team – Choose specialisations that enhance team-wide effects.

✅ Skill Compatibility – Match talent trees with passive skills and artifacts.

✅ Meta Adaptability – Some specialisations perform better in certain patches—be flexible!

💡 Tip: Don't max out an Immortal's talent tree without planning—it's expensive to reset later!

6️⃣ Final Thoughts: What You Should Take Away

Building a meta march in Infinity Kingdom requires strategy, research, and adaptability. Here are the key takeaways:

🔹 Understand the Meta – Stay updated on the latest trends to ensure your team remains competitive.

🔹 Pick the Right Dragon Early – Choosing a strong foundational dragon (like Earth) will support your build long-term. The dragon choice will largely be down to how deep your pockets are. Holy dragon is the ultimate, it is costly to build and takes commitment.

🔹 Invest in Synergy – Skills, artifacts, and Immortal interactions determine success.

🔹 Adapt & Evolve – The meta changes, so be prepared to adjust your lineup and strategies.

💡 What to Do Next

✔️ Analyze your current march – Does it fit the current meta?

✔️ Check top player formations – What builds are dominating leaderboards?

✔️ Experiment with skills & artifacts – Could a small adjustment improve your march?

By mastering these concepts, you'll stay ahead of the competition and dominate in PvP and PvE. Now go out there and build the best meta march for your journey! Whatever your journey, now is the time to assess your primary march and give it a Spring clean. It will pay dividends.

What’s Next?

In upcoming articles, I’ll explore specific examples of meta-builds for each spending level, analysing their strengths, weaknesses, and skill choices in detail.

Meta Marches for Different Spending Levels

🔹There’s no "one-size-fits-all" meta. We’ll highlight strong builds for all types of players, so you can aim for a march that fits your wallet and tweak it to suit your playstyle.

🔹P2P: Chaos Immortals and Holy Dragon-based builds

🔹Mid-Spender: Himiko + Theodora or Himiko + Fu Fei builds
