Hello and Welcome to Honors Corner!!
I hope you have all had a relaxing weekend, offering the chance to recharge your batteries. It has been interesting investigating a F2P march considered to be Meta. It has been around for a long time and it has longevity. Something must be going right for this march.
The following articles are my suggestions for possible skills and are more Early gameplay. Grab that coffee and go grab
Introduction
Building a strong Free-to-Play (F2P) march that lasts from early to end-game is tough. This guide covers a Wind-Earth hybrid setup that balances damage, defence, and utility. However, in Infinity Kingdom, no march is invincible. We'll discuss the Achilles' heel of this Wind-Earth hybrid march, including the counters it may face and strategies to overcome these obstacles. For those looking to optimise their march for Player-versus-Player (PvP) battles, Player-versus-Environment (PvE) challenges, and scaling performance through proper artifact allocation and talent specialisations, this article will cover the tactical foundation needed for success.
By the conclusion, we'll provide a critical analysis, breaking down early to end-game strategies, highlighting the march's strengths and weaknesses, and underscoring the importance of flexibility. Takeaway points will emphasise the practical applications of this setup, ensuring that even F2P players can effectively compete. To wrap things up, we'll explore the best Immortal talents from the specialisation tree and offer some final thoughts on this march's long-term viability.
✅ Why choose this march?
Balanced offence & defence (great for sustain)
Flexible skill & artifact choices (adapt to the meta)
Strong synergy (Wind speed + Earth durability)
But no march is perfect. We'll also discuss counter strategies and how to adjust when facing tougher opponents.
🔹 Talent Optimization (Boosting Your Immortals' Potential)
Every Immortal needs the right talents to shine.
We'll break down the best skills, artifacts, specialisation talents, and strategies to improve your performance in PvP and PvE.
Focus on these specialisations:
Alexander: Physical damage & attack speed for consistent frontline pressure.
Zenobia: Defensive support to improve team survival.
Hannibal: AoE damage & crowd control for battlefield control.
Qin Shi Huang: Buffs & debuffs to weaken enemies and boost allies.
💡 TIP Adapt talents based on your main threats—more damage for offence or sustain for long fights!
🔹 Core Skills & Synergy
Wind-Earth Hybrid March (F2P Guide)
Alexander, Zenobia, Hannibal, Qin Shi Huang)
Immortal brings a key ability to the team:
Alexander: Duel Master (boosts attack), Combo (faster hits), Absorb (survivability).
Zenobia: Berserk Aura (team attack speed), Blessing of Speed (more movement & attack), Oaken Guard (extra defence).
Hannibal: Cleave (AoE damage), Anger (higher damage output), Fighting Master (immunity to control).
Qin Shi Huang: Coercion Aura (enemy defence reduction), Blessing of War (team attack boost), Blessing of Defense (extra tankiness).

🔑 Key Synergy
Zenobia boosts attack speed & defence, Hannibal deals AoE damage, and Qin Shi Huang debuffs enemies to amplify team damage.
🔹 Best Artifacts (Scaling Power Efficiently)
Artifacts can make or break your Immortals. Here's what works best:
Alexander: Sword of Vengeance → More physical attack & attack speed.

It is a good example of an Alex EA, though if it had a Physical attack bonus as a 2nd attribute would improve it. EAs are notoriously difficult to forge the ideal 1. Keep on griding and you will get the EA you want. However, those EA Gods might remove the Special Attribute, and the process would start again!!
Zenobia: Shield of Awe → Higher defence & better healing.

Hannibal: Axe of Fury → Stronger AoE & crowd control.

I would chuffed if i could get those stats on my Alex EA, however, I might prefer Accuracy.
Qin Shi Huang: Staff of Command → Stronger debuffs & team-wide buffs.

💡 TIP: Prioritize upgrading artifacts over new ones—higher levels make a big difference in battle!
🔹 Choosing the Right Dragon (Why Earth Wind)
This march relies on sustainability, making Earth Dragon the best fit:
Elemental Power: Boosts Earth damage (pairs well with Zenobia).
Dragon's Breath: Strengthens the ultimate attack (AoE pressure).
Resilience: Reduces damage taken (extends fights in your favour).
Balancing offensive and defensive dragon talents creates a march capable of handling varied challenges.
Mechanics and Synergy
This march thrives on its synergy between Wind and Earth Immortals:
Immortal Synergy: Alexander and Hannibal provide consistent frontline pressure, enabling Zenobia and Qin Shi Huang to amplify team-wide buffs and debuffs. The team's balance between physical and utility mechanics ensures versatility in both PvP and PvE.
Endurance: The reliance on sustained damage, rather than burst, makes this march effective in longer battles, particularly when supported by strong dragon talents and artifacts.

We can see the double ATK has held and defended the backline, so they could get off their Ultimate Skills. The DMG that both Hannibal and Alex dish out is good, enabling the healing of Qin and Zenobia, allowing the march to survive the enemy Fire march. However, Hannibal accuracy rate isn't ideal, missing 6 attacks, only saved by the 100% accuracy rate of 100%. Example of skills, EAs, Dragon talent and Immortal Specialiasation.
❓ What about Wind Dragon? It provides speed, but Earth's defense and healing are better long-term for F2P players. Plus the Wind Dragon is not F2P friendly, there are no Wind Bosses. This makes collecting Dragon crystals extremely difficult, costly and time consuming. You'll only find them in the Insignia and ToS shops.
🔹 Strategic Positioning (Maximize Effectiveness in PvP & PvE)
Frontline: Alexander & Hannibal absorb damage and dish out AoE.
Backline: Zenobia & Qin Shi Huang provide buffs, debuffs, and sustain.
✔ Against high-burst teams? Focus on defensive skills like Absorb Shield.
✔ Facing stun-heavy builds? Equip Fighting Master on key Immortals.
✔ Battling sustain teams? Use Energy Suppression to cut enemy healing.
🔹 PvE & PvP Performance
✅ PvE Strengths
✔ Strong sustain for campaigns & bosses.
✔ Buffs/debuffs improve damage output over time.
✅ PvP Strengths
✔ Adaptability—switch skills based on the enemy.
✔ Balanced damage & durability, making it reliable against most teams.

The enemy was a 660K stp Wind march, with a maxed Dragon Talent Tree. This Hybrid march at,e it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However it did sustain heavy serious and lightly wounded, but with a moderate death rate. This march is ideal for walls and garrisons, though the Hospital will be overcrowded afterwards - hope they have a large pot of RSS at the end of the Rainbow.
⚠ Weaknesses Early Game
Struggles against high magic damage (Fire/Water comps).
Faster burst teams (like Lightning) can break its sustain.
💡 TIP: Adjust skills & talents frequently—meta changes, and so should your build!
🔹 Final Thoughts (Why This March Works for F2P Players)
Early-game friendly → Immortals are obtainable through events & grinding.
Scales well → Good synergy between damage, buffs, and sustain.
Adaptable → Can be tweaked for both PvP and PvE.
✅ Best for: Players who want a consistent, long-term march without relying on premium Immortals.
Why Is Wind-Earth Still a Meta March for F2P?
The Wind-Earth hybrid march has been a go-to choice for F2P players for a long time, but why does it remain relevant despite the rise of new combos? The key lies in its balance of survivability, adaptability, and accessibility.
Key Strengths Keeping It in the Meta
1. Strong Frontline Durability – Earth immortals are tanky, and Wind boosts attack speed, allowing for consistent damage over time rather than relying on bursts.
2. Great Sustain – Zenobia's defensive buffs and Earth Dragon's damage reduction create a team that can outlast opponents.
3. High Adaptability – Skills and talents can be adjusted easily to counter different team setups.
4. Low-Risk Investment for F2P – Unlike Holy, Shadow, or even full Lightning teams, this setup does not require heavy spending on exclusive immortals.
The biggest drawback? Many of these require more specific shards, pushing F2P players to rely on gem purchases from limited-time bundles or the market.
How F2P Players Should Manage Gems
F2P players must be strategic with gem usage, especially with Immortal Specialization becoming a crucial end-game investment.
Biggest Gem Sinks for F2P Players
Immortal Specialization Talent Tree – to change specialisation talents costs 500 gems per Immortal. The biggest cost will be using gems to purchase Immortal fragments for the Immortal Talent Tree.
Immortal Shards from the Market – Some immortals (like Hannibal or Zenobia) may not be easily obtained, forcing F2P players to spend gems on market refreshes.
💡 TIP Avoid buying random chests or unnecessary refreshes —every gem should go toward long-term power scaling, like specialisation talents and artifact upgrades.
Immortal Specialization Talents – Best Choices for This March
Each immortal should focus on specialisation talents that enhance their primary role in the march:
Alexander (Frontline Bruiser & Damage Dealer)
Best Talents
✔ Physical Mastery – Increases normal attack damage.
✔ Brutal Strikes – Boosts crit rate for stronger hits.
✔ Battle Endurance – Reduces damage taken in prolonged fights.
Zenobia (Support & Sustain)
Best Talents
✔ Guardian Aura – Buff's defense for the entire team.
✔ Healing Mastery– Enhances healing from artifacts and passive skills.
✔ Tenacity – Reduces enemy debuff duration.
Hannibal (AoE & Control)
Best Talents
✔ Frenzy – Increases damage to multiple enemies.
✔ Crowd Control Mastery – Boosts effects of stuns or silences.
✔ Berserker's Strength. – Improves sustained physical damage.
Qin Shi Huang (Debuff & Buff Controller)
Best Talents:
✔ Debuff Extension – Increases duration of enemy debuffs.
✔ Tactical Command – Strengthens team-wide buffs.
✔ Precision Strikes – Improves accuracy against evasive enemies.
Takeaway Points
✔ Wind-Earth is still one of the best F2P marches due to its sustainability, versatility, and accessibility.
✔ F2P players must manage gems, prioritising immortal specialisation, artifacts, and market refreshes over temporary boosts.
✔ New meta teams exist, but they often require premium immortals or higher gem spending, making them less sustainable for pure F2P players.
✔Specialization talents are a major power boost, but they demand long-term investment—choosing the right ones early can save thousands of gems later.
✔ Countering top-tier teams (like Shadow, Holy, or Chaos) requires skill adjustments, but Wind-Earth remains relevant due to its adaptability.
Final Thoughts
Wind-Earth is not just an old meta march—it still holds its ground because it provides a reliable, sustainable strategy for F2P players. While other setups may offer higher burst damage or stronger counters, they often require heavy investment, making them impractical for non-spenders.
Success in Infinity Kingdom isn't about having the strongest march—it's about playing smart, optimising resources, and adapting to the meta without overextending your gems.
