Shadow Kitsune (charming fox) not doing damage?

Hello, I was watching battle replays and my charming fox never does damage on Round 1 skill move, but all other players I go up against, their charming fox always hit my whole team. Is there a reason why?

Here's a replay for reference, I'm Drid123 on the left side. Opponent's fox does damage on round 1 skill, mine does nothing. My fox is not the hero with highest ATK, it is my monkey king, so my fox did not get disarmed. I also tested in PVE, and my charming fox also did not damage there.
