hand book

hey there returning player here haven't played for the last year. I have a question regarding hand books. Seeing a lot of ppl on my server having more than 150 % defense stat and i barely have like 70. Just curious is there any way to get handbook core so i can upgrade it. I do have some upgrades considering i spent decent diamonds to get them in the events and the other ppl on my server are not even spending any.
