The second round of Siege of Winterfell came incredibly fast for RoD, a developing alliance where Ashun wanted to further prove himself in Westeros' history. They were created just before the previous round, with high expectations from every participant. Their fighters had a lot of experience in this field, winning the competition many times over the years, and Ashun hoped they would be able to achieve that once again.
Ashun was not a very important fighter in the big scheme, but everyone played a role, and their victories depended on fulfilling that role. He proved that despite him being a weaker fighter, he was ready to give it all he's got no matter the costs in order to accomplish what was needed of him. Being of use and winning were his motivations, and this round was going to be no exception to that.

In this round their are facing against IlI, and alliance that Ashun had never met previously, hence his hopes were not too high, as it meant the opposition would more than likely not be a strong one. This would also ease the pressure of his goals for the match, as well as the costs, preserving his resources for future endeavors. However, Ashun had lots of experience in this field, and that meant he knew not to underestimate an opponent before the match, nor during. Underestimating them would cause for a surprise on the alliance, and they needed the win, Ashun was still going to go all out.

In the previous round, RoD had met FFS in a very exciting battle that was intense from the beginning until the very end. Ashun was super excited to be a part of it, and as it finished in a victory, he couldn't have been happier for their debut match. Now, their chance to continue the winning ways is here.
The goals for the season are not just qualifying for Ultimate Siege, but also winning it, RoD had to do all that they could to achieve it in the hard rounds later on, but for now, a win was a must in the current round against IlI.
The strategist for the match and season, MooON, was more than qualified to pick out the best approach each time as she was the leading force for every win in her career. She had won Ultimate Siege on multiple occasions, but also was an instrumental part of winning the regular seasons 10 times in the past. All of these feats were unachievable by most strategists, and that is why she was best suited to reach the goal for RoD.
For this match, the alliance was divided in four teams, this was always the approach in winning matches for her. This hinted to Ashun that she believed they couldn't lose this match no matter what, but he was still yet to see which team he would belong to. As the match had approached, he found out that he belonged to the same team as in the previous round, Winterfell. The work he had to put in was clear and he was familiar with it, MooON took that into consideration as she gave the role. The role implied transporting the resources of Winterfell to a base.
The other 3 teams consisted of Armory and Hot Springs teams whose goals were to take over the entirety of the map. The last remaining team was going to be the most important one as it was going to defend all buildings from stray marches. And with all of the teams assembled, it was time to move forward and begin the match.
III had assembled an amazing force, one that many would be jealous of, but sadly for them, the opposition this time around was just too powerful even from afar. When the battle commenced, Ashun and the other RoD fighters wasted no time in reaching their assigned positions. Ashun was tasked to help at Hot Springs before heading to Winterfell, as MooON anticipated the big fight of the match to take place there.
Within a few minutes, she was proven right, III had reached Hot Springs in huge numbers, Ashun was thrilled to give it his all against such a motivated team as them even when faced with the odds against them. The battle that commenced was one worthy of tale, with fighters clashing in desperation over ownership of the building and its buffs. But despite III doing amazingly and putting in so much effort, they had come short and it was purely on strength alone. They had lost the battle on one side and RoD was now capturing everything fast on the right of the map.

On the armory side, although the battle was quieter, III hadn't abandoned it fully, they had sent a smaller army that they wished would have slowed the enemy down. Those sacrificial fighters had done their job to the best of their abilities, but when faced with overwhelming power, there is not much resistance one could put up. RoD had gained control of both sides.

Ashun headed to the Outpost where III was planning to do their last stand, but as the battle commenced, MooON sent a reminder: ''Do not forget about the resources, we will need them.'' she screamed at the team, and Ashun rushed back to help transport them.
Soon enough, RoD had everything captured, the resources transported and the victory secured. It felt like an easy battle, but it would not be that way should MooON's plan have failed to be right. The team covering buildings had done the most work out of everyone. III had desperate attempts to sneak in at all times and try to capture, but they were always denied, the team played their role perfectly.

With the second round won, the season continued greatly. Ashun was proud of the team and especially the strategist, as without perfect play, even III would've caused many problems. It was details as such that showcased why it was important to have a great plan and why RoD were one of the favourites to win it all.
But the road ahead is still long, the season had barely started and many obstacles were coming their way. However, Ashun and RoD were ready to take on them all, and failure was not an option.
