SIEGE OF WINTERFELL | SEASON 15 ROUND 4 | TFI vs MBL.

Lord and Ladies, welcome to one of the most anticipated clashes in Siege of Winterfell Season 15. Tonight, we will witness two titans of the battlefield, TFI vs MBL in Round 4 of the competition, this promises to be an exciting battle. TFI is led by the brilliant Joel1101, he has been disappointed with the season so far and he plans to change things up for the coming match. On the other side we have MBL, led by the swift and cunning Bearface, he has some surprising new members joining him for this match, these fresh faces could be the wildcard that tips the scales in MBL's favor. Who will rise to the occasion and claim victory? The stage is set and the siege is about to begin!

Joel1101 wishes to try something new, two losses in the past three matches have led him to the brink,” our opponents have some friends joining them, making them a lot stronger,” Joel1101 knew this would be another tough match but it could also be a new beginning. “We will decide which side to target, when we see their positioning, I know they will go as one big group,” DiEhArD was second in command and agreed with Joel1101 about shaking things up. Siege of Winterfell has a symmetrical battlefield, both sides have two outposts and two strongholds on their side with the Armory and Hotspring on the left and right side respectively with Winterfell itself directly in the middle. The team which controls these structures will accumulate points per minute, also a package from Winterfell which when delivered also provides points, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins. This season a new element has been introduced, statues when captured will provide a buff for a certain period of time. Will TFI’s new tactics be enough to overcome MBL’s reinforced might? 

DiEhArD believed MBL would be their toughest fight yet, “a few teams decided not to register for this match and joined other alliances with MBL being the beneficiaries of that,” DiEhArD could see the mountain he would have to climb. For TFI, this match is more than just a battle between two sides, it’s a chance to prove their resilience and rise to the occasion. For MBL, it’s an opportunity to cement their dominance and sneak into the top 30 for the first time this season.

On the other hand, Bearface known for his speedy get aways with the package was very confident in his side, “I’ll be responsible for package duty, I just need some of you to distract them while I make my way out of Winterfell,” Bearface with reinforcements from other alliances could see the gap in power between MBL and TFI now more apparent, Bearface is confident that his team’s strength and coordination will be too much for their opponents to handle. As the snow falls on Winterfell, both sides are rearing to go. Will Bearface’s speed and MBL’s overwhelming strength secure them a decisive victory? Will TFI’s resilience and new tactics win the day? The siege of Winterfell is about to begin and the fate of both alliances hangs in the balance. Lords and Ladies prepare yourselves for round 4 of the Siege of Winterfell. 

The match got underway with both sides sending their biggest group towards to their objective of choice, “seems like MBL is going to move towards the Hotspring, we should send the bulk of our warriors towards the Armory,” DiEhArD had changed his tactics, no longer would he split his team into three but one big force and a few squads causing chaos around them. As MBL made their way towards the Hotspring, they were met with one of these chaos squads, sent to slowing down MBL’s main force. “They sent a smaller squad towards us, what are they thinking surely, they know, they can’t stop us, “Bearface was confused by TFIs plan but as expected they dispatched with TFIs chaos squad with ease and took control of the Hotsprings. “We didn’t slow them down at all, we should have gone with our main squad towards the Armory,” varr who was in charge of the chaos squad who went to meet MBL at the Hotspring was not a fan of the tactics being used but he went along for the sake of the alliance. 

The first statue coincided with the first package spawn, “perhaps if we ignore the first statue and focus on the package, we can sneak one away from them,” varr who would normally be delivering the package in previous matches, thought it was best to get the early lead. “I like this idea, ignore the first package, we need some of the chaos squads to join us, they may not see it coming,” DiEhArD agreed with his good friend but he had no idea what was coming for TFI. Although TFI got to the package first and were able to pick it up, they were surrounded immediately, as if MBL were waiting for their prey. “They didn’t see it coming, we will get the package and the first statue, they expected us to be distracted but we kept our eye on the prize,” Bearface successfully delivered the package and gave MBL a nice lead but the battle if far from over. 

The pace was relentless as the warrior statue became available but only for one side, as the battlefield even this early on became a sea of MBL banners. “We have to regain some of the lost buildings, we need the points, “DiEhArD was afraid the match was getting out of hand. “Ignoring the statues may become the norm in this match for us, take everything we lost on the Armory side and prepare ourselves for the second package,” Joel1101 was willing to give up on the Hotspring side as long as TFI kept the Armory side under control. Unfortunately for TFI the second package was easily taken by Bearface while TFI tried to regain some map control. “Another package for us, they seem to be ignoring the statues, that’s fine, more buffs for us, “Bearface was loving what he was seeing, his team was dominating while taking important objectives. As the siege rages on, can TFI find a way to turn the tide or will MBL’s relentless dominance carry them to a well-deserved victory?

With the half the match already done and dusted, the third package would be crucial if TFI wanted to mount a comeback, “they already have a 10k lead on us, we need to do something different or risk losing everything, “Joel1101 didn’t want to lose his third match in a row and decided to mount a charge towards Winterfell. “Here they come again, the same result will occur, when will they learn, “one of MBLs commanders mockingly said to his comrades, as they picked up the third package. “They will learn one way or the other, “Bearface sent his army towards the large TFI group that was heading straight for him. The armies clashed while the snow fell on the dead forces around Winterfell, there could only be one winner and it was clear which team had the advantage. “They are too strong for us, we need to fall back and fight another day, “Joel1101 blew his horn calling for a retreat as TFI once again floundered and were forced to fall back. However, TFI were able to beat off a small group of MBL from Greyjoy Stronghold 1, which gave them full control of the Armory side, which was their goal from the start. 

The loss for the third package made is clear that TFI were not strong enough to face MBL head-to-head but if they could catch small groups, they were more than able to hold their own. “The stranger statue is spawning, we should give that a shot, since the fourth package is more than likely already lost, “DiEhArD looked to his partner Joel1101 for confirmation. “You’re correct my friend, I’ve seen their package crew, we are no match for them but we can take the rest of the battlefield, “Joel1101 was ready to call this match quits but the fire inside him wouldn’t let go of the match. As for MBL, the path to victory seems all but assured. Bearface and his package crew continue to dominate, their coordination and speed leaving TFI with little room to counter. As the snow falls and the battle rages on, TFI’s determination shines through as they continue to fight knowing they will lose. 

With 18 minutes remaining, the match was all but over, “we have taken most of the battlefield under our control, all that remains is their outposts, “Bearface would leave the rest to his comrades as he made his way to Winterfell to take and deliver the final package of the match. As the snow stopped falling on the battlefield, it was clear TFI had run out of time and they would make their last stand at Greyjoy Outpost 2, “ we did all we could this match, the enemy was a stronger team but they had help from others, we stood tall together, keep Greyjoy Outpost 2 as long as we can, I couldn’t ask more from any of you,” Joel1101 gave his final speech of the match, which ended with loud applause and shouting from TFI, they had clearly lost the match but their spirit remained. 

The match came to an end, TFI still had high spirits even though the points total told a different story, “we managed to hold on to Greyjoy Outpost 2 for the remainder of the match, well done, “DiEhArD was proud of his team for keeping to their word and holding out to the very end. “Even though we lost, we learned that nothing can break our spirit, that was good to see, we faced a formidable group of warriors and lost and there is no shame in that,” Joel1101 wanted to see the same kind of bond in every match, for the rest of the season.

On the other side of the battlefield, MBL celebrated their victory by saying their goodbyes, as the friends that joined MBL for this match would return to their own alliances, “thank you all for joining and I hope your alliances skip another match so we can gain from their loss, “Bearface gave one last laugh to his friends, as they went their separate ways, Bearface basked in the glory of his fresh victory.

Though the match has ended, the lessons learned and the bonds forged will linger long after the banners have been folded. Westeros hungers for the next Siege of Winterfell and Westeros never goes hungry for long.
