Another Arena of Honor was approaching, and the euphoria was also reaching its peak. The previous round had been brilliant, and even though I was fighting in a random team, the players in the clan followed a cohesive strategy, and the team worked like an orchestra.

As the clan leader, despite being the smallest player on the team, I was extremely satisfied and relieved at the end with the positive result!! While many enemies chose to build trading posts and search for the altars of the maidens, we chose the aggressive strategy. As a result, we achieved a victory that brought us close to 180k points, and with twice the points of the team in second place!!

With an extra invitation, I would enter the Arena once again that same weekend. However, once again my official team would be unavailable, so I would have to fight solo or look for a known team. In the final moments, an invitation came from a "sister" team from my old alliance, and preferring not to risk soloing again, since sometimes many players don't actually participate, I thought it would be safer to enter the field with that team.

I prepared myself for battle, and in addition to my infantry, which would be commanded by Kevin, in conjunction with Sinara and Rhea, in a bleeding synergy, I would also enter the battlefield with 1M spearmen and knights, in case I needed to reinforce other teammates.

When the match started, I quickly tried to check the level of the enemies. There were some familiar names, some even from my old alliance. But in AoH, power simply hasn't been that decisive, compared to real participation throughout the fight.

As a "guest", I decided to act as support, since I didn't know the team's common strategy. When I started building the first fortifications, I was surprised (and frustrated) to see that the team would look for trading posts. I tried to argue against this strategy in the chat, but to no avail. I noticed that the enemies had also adopted the same procedure. Still, I was worried about the outcome. I sent reinforcements to the clan castle, and even tried to build two offensive fortifications.

The first difficulty arose right when the Watchtower bubble fell. Without the attack fortifications, we were unable to dominate them. Fortunately, the other clans were also having the same difficulty.

I decided to assess the enemies by attacking their altars. In some cases, I was successful, while some counterattacks managed to take me down.

In the fight for one of the Warrior altars, Lord Spuffo was unable to stop my infantry. And even when he counterattacked me using infantry as well, the result was better for me.

The score between all the clans was even, but I regretted it, because I knew that the Watchtower points would be important to take the lead. Similarly, it was not possible to dominate the catapults.

I tried to secure an additional source of points with the Mine and Dragons Pits, and I continued to focus on the enemy maiden altars occasionally to maximize the point gain.

Finally, the excitement was about to begin. The bubble of Glory City collapsed. I quickly began a mobilization and waited for reinforcements. Other mobilizations were also already active. As I launched my attack, as I advanced towards Glory City, I was skeptical about victory. But hope always exists. Everyone held their breath. But to no avail! :(

The rally started by Lord Rudy was successful. However, he was unable to hold the city after a few attacks. I started another mobilization, managed to dominate GC, but was soon defeated as well.

The point situation was worrying, as we were oscillating between 3rd and 4th place. With no prospect of GC points, I decided to focus on other sources of points on the map, such as the Mining Site, and again, enemy altars.

Lord Rudy and the others continued to insist on trying to dominate GC, but without success. Until then, no clan had managed to dominate the city.

When all hope had been exhausted, we managed to take over the city of glory once again. I decided for the last time to help in this attempt, and I always kept as many troops as possible in the City, sending new troops after each clash of the enemy waves.

The enemy attacks were decimating the walls every minute. The timer was ticking slowly. And the anticipation reached its peak. If we took over the city, it would be epic; if we failed, it would be a disaster, and we would be at the bottom of the rankings!! Something unimaginable until then for me, who was fighting to reach the top 100!!

Thanks to the New and Old Gods, the bubble appeared, and we managed to capture the City and obtain part of the points of all the other clans!! With such a turnaround, we took the lead in the final moments of the match!!
