CCS in the Adamant Fortress

As the Champion City Siege was approaching K157, Ashun, a warrior from within BaN, longed to fight for the Adamant Fortress alongside his alliance. They were used to winning the event and the title of Champion Conqueror every time the event came around, and this time was no exception. They had to give it their all and come out on top once again as the match-up was one that favoured them greatly.

Ashun had experience in the event, having fought with his alliance, and even before inside the event, each time improving his skills and gathering great rewards.

As they have arrived on the battlefield, Ashun stayed looking towards the gates of the Adamant Fortress that loomed in the distance, with his excitement for what was to come growing with every second. The event this time had 2 allies of BaN's participating, making the goals easily attainable. This also allowed them to hold talks about the rankings and who would get the most rewards. The arrangement and strategy were clear as they were easier to create: redOCEAN of BaN would take the first spot in the rankings, black bear of KAC would claim second, and LoliEdd from BaN would secure the third and complete the podium. With this deal, BaN would dominate the podium with two spots, while their allies from KAC claimed the remaining one. It was a display of trust, and Ashun was eager to play his role in making it happen.

As the Adamant Fortress unlocked, redOCEAN tried leading the charge, launching a solo attack but he fell a bit short to his comrade in KAC, black bear, who was now going to secure his spot first. It was a surprising take to do the second spot first for Ashun, but he decided to follow the instructions as given by their leaders. He was not one to question them and he always had their back by following what was needed of him to do.

N0X, their opponents, made several attempts to contest the hold of black bear, launching rally after rally to dislodge his hold but they were not even close, always being annihilated by his strength. KAC’s defenses held strong, and each failed rally only solidified that the strategy was the right approach for this event. FuK was at the same time doing a few rallies to obtain eliminations for everyone, Ashun watched the battle reports come in, feeling a mix of relief and admiration for his allies as they progressed with the plans.

After holding the adamant fortress for a significant amount of time, the second spot was surely secured and it was time to execute the next phase of the plan and swap. Black bear initiated the swap, stepping out to allow redOCEAN to claim the hold and obtain his first position. The operation was flawless, with redOCEAN taking control without any interference, as expected, they showed great synergy. Ashun marveled at the precision of the swap as they had struggled with it in the past, but now every member of the team knew their role, and the execution was no less than perfect.

Ashun, along with countless others, quickly reinforced the fortress after the swap, ensuring it was impenetrable to N0X's attacks. As they tried rallying again, over and over, the alliance chat was filled with energy and laughter as reports flowed in, each of them confirming that BaN’s hold was secure, N0X kept on getting annihilated, everything was according to the plan.

The hold took a while and the frequency of N0X's attacks had slowed down severely, and now redOCEAN was securely in the first place, the final step was to bring LoliEdd into the third position. Once again, the swap was initiated, but FuK took control of it by accident with one of their rallies. But they were quick to recover, they reinforced it, making sure N0X cannot get in the way, and waited for LoliEdd to arrive and recapture. This time the swap went well. Ashun was happy to see it was possible to recover that quickly and so precise, it was a thrill fighting in this CCS.

Now LoliEdd held the Adamant fortress, and N0X came alive again, but despite a few desperate attempts to disrupt their plans, BaN and their allies proved that their reinforcements were still on point. The fortress remained firmly under their control, and the agreed upon rankings were obtained.

As the champion city siege came to an end, Ashun felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment as everything was no less than perfect. RedOCEAN had claimed the first spot, black bear secured the second, and LoliEdd held the third even despite a small setback. BaN had once again proven their superiority on the battlefield, achieving not only their goals but also demonstrating the synergy they had not only with their alliance, but together with others as well.

As Ashun reflected on the event, he felt hopeful for the future where they would have harder match-ups to win. This CCS had been a shining example of what they could achieve together, and he was certain there were more victories to come. For now, though, he was content to celebrate alongside his comrades.
