More benefits, more surprises
It was a calm day in K157, the kingdom where Choso was resting in, waiting for other events to begin and come his way where he was going to pursue greatness under the FuK banner. His own achievements were a bit lackluster in every event other than Alliance Conquest, as his strength needed to increase, not being anywhere near the top of the alliance, nor the middle in terms of raw strength.
This fact was making feel unrested, and filled his desire to become better in order to keep his spot in the alliance. A desire that many did not have, and that made him increase not only the likeness from his mates, but also made him actually improve his own qualities. He would usually however, have no issues in waiting for events to start, as they would be one after the other, but this time, the break was longer, he had to keep his edge in one way or another.
As he pondered about what he could do, he tried out ultimate tournament, an event where he could battle opponents from other Kingdoms and compare his strength to that of others from rivaling alliances. He seemed to love the idea, and it was providing him with exactly what he needed, more insight on what he lacked and could improve on. This was like heaven, but not for long...
Not long after he started fighting in the ultimate tournament, he faced difficulties, ones that were out of his control at the moment: he was spam attacked by an entire alliance, EKS. Choso hated the idea of that, as it displayed lack of sportsmanship and targeting a single person was unfair to the competition itself, especially if it was for no specific reason.
In the first day after it happened, he attempted retaliating on them, advancing back to his previous spot after 10 flawless victories. But his triumph was short-lived, they had done it again this day, and the next, and the following. This drove Choso down the ranks quite heavily, not allowing him to compete at the level he would normally be at, as well as lessening his rewards. Overall it turned the great opportunity that the event created for him into a waste.
This infuriated him and decided to take his act of revenge onto them, something he would usually not do, but this time, it was necessary in his eyes as their behaviour was deliberate. He hated the idea of it but decided to go through with it anyway, and started scouting their Kingdom: K141.
After a short while, he did not notice any target available, but the activity was low, so the chances of a target popping up were high. Choso decided to lay in wait for his opportunity to come, and shortly after, it did just that. One of the EKS fighters had dropped their bubble, enabling Choso to teleport and attack his castle.
Choso had to be fast however, and he knew it very well, as he was weaker than many of their fighters, he would expose himself if he was to take a while soloing the opponent. With that in the back of his mind, he launched his first solo attack: a complete success. He then sped his troops up and changed locations before analysing the report.
Choso seemed to be using spearmen, which were the right choice against his opponent, that was using cavalry. This provided him a counter of troop types, very useful to have. He was pleased with the outcome of the first report and the quality of his fight, but that was not enough, as he needed to at least finish his target off before celebrating. Thus he then sent one more attack from his new location, the killing blow.
The attack was almost without a loss for Choso, who massacred his opposition this time around, capturing the lord, and now teleporting away once more to be safe. In just two attacks, his revenge against EKS had started, and it seemed to be going well. He was not going to stop here, as it was a costly trip to change kingdoms, he will need to make sure to make the costs worth it, as this was just the beginning.
He was happy with the way he decided to fight their first fighter off-guard, but now he knew that everyone was going to be more wary, and less opportunities were going to show themselves for him. But he was a patient fighter, he was going to wait, whilst still dealing with the attacks within Ultimate Tournament, where they were sure to be in.
Although these two attacks have not taught him much more about fighting than he knew before, the next few weeks were surely going to do so. Actively fighting will increase his awareness, making him better for the next upcoming event: Alliance Conquest. There he and FuK were going to battle for top 16 in Westeros, a very hard goal to achieve.
