Introduction

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my series breaking down the many immortals in the game. Today, we will be taking a look at Qin Emperor, a Wind support immortal that is widely used by many players. Although few players have Wind teams, Qin has always been able to find his way into other teams due to the ease of obtaining him and his powerful skills that provide utility to many different teams.

Qin Emperor in History

Emperor Qin Shi Huang was the first emperor of China and the founder of the Qin dynasty. He was the eldest son of King Zhuangxiang of the State of Qin, and succeeded to the Qin throne after the death of his father at only 13 years old. After many years of war, he managed to conquer all 6 Chinese states and bring China under unified Qin rule. Although he lived over 2000 years ago, many relics of his reign are still around to this day, such as the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army and his tomb.

How to Obtain

Qin can be obtained in game from many different places, such as Hall of Immortals, Market and Arena. This makes him an immortal that all players are able to obtain and upgrade with relative ease.

His exclusive artifact, Qin’s Chariot, can also be obtained easily from a variety of sources. His exclusive artifact is present in artifact selection chests, which are available from various events such as Arms Race and Stellar Compass. He can also be purchased from the shop inside Time Rift Breaker and Mysterium.

Ultimate Skill

Qin’s ultimate skill, Dragon Power, has the main feature of inflicting Wound onto all enemy immortals, preventing them from being healed. This makes Qin very strong against Earth and Holy teams that rely on healing to keep their team alive, although its utility is much more limited against teams with Athena or Ninetails, since they provide immunity or are able to cleanse Wound effects.

Dragon Power also increases attack speed of allied immortals and grants Cleave to all Wind immortals. This makes Qin a perfect fit on Earth-Wind hybrid teams where Alex and Barca are able to make great use of the increase in attack speed.

Recommended Skills

Qin normally equips skills that are used on most support immortals that do not provide healing. Since most of these teams rely on dealing burst damage, Qin often equips skills such as War Blessing and Speed Blessing to maximise the amount of damage dealt by the team in the first 12 seconds. He might also equip skills to protect the team from enemy burst damage, such as Oaken Guard, Resist, Energy Suppression and No Escape. To maximise the number of times his ultimate skill activates, some teams would even equip adrenaline rush on him, speeding up his energy regeneration.

Team Compatibility

The most common use of Qin is on the Earth-Wind hybrid team. Qin fits perfectly into such a team, since Alex and Barca rely on their normal attacks to deal damage. By increasing their normal attack speed, and granting Cleave effects to Barca, Qin is able to greatly increase the damage from the team. Qin is also able to Wound enemy teams, blocking any healing effects by the enemy. This makes it easier for Alex and Barca to burst enemy teams quickly while War Blessing and Speed Blessing are still active.

This is just one example of the hybrid team doing large amounts of burst, killing enemy immortals in under 10 seconds.

Conclusion

For someone who can be easily obtained and upgraded by all players, Qin is a great immortal. He is one of the few immortals who is able to Wound enemy teams, making him irreplaceable when facing enemy teams that rely on healing. His synergy with both Alex and Barca, who are widely used by many players, makes Qin among the best immortals available currently.
