HELLO AND WELCOME TO HONORS CORNER!!
The time has come to reveal the answers to the Bonus Questions and show you the changes made to the Battle Chess Opening screen.
I am hoping that last week's Spot the Difference Challenge took you a while to find all the changes. And find the hidden letters that spelt out an Ultimate Skill.
Time to get on with the reveal, please do post your comments, it is great to get feedback. Is this an activity that you enjoy, or are there some changes you could suggest to improve it? I read every post, and I thank you for taking the time to comment:)).
Lets’ get started:
- You will see the letter J and the colour purple in the centre of the Chess Tower
- The tree has been shaded in different Greens I was hoping to fool you with this one lol
- Both the Obalisques have had 1 side coloured Yellow
- You will see the Letter C
- The Banners have had their details erased and in one of them you will see the Letter S
- Is the letter S
- Is the Letter I
- On both statues, the diamond shape on the belt has been coloured in Magenta
- The Circle around the faceless Chess Piece is coloured in Red replacing the Gold
- The Letter J is hidden on the robe of the statue.
- You will see the Letter D next to the word Entertainment
- Is the Letter R
- Highlights the banding of the Chessboard coloured in Pink
- This is a tricky Letter to find, it is hidden in a Column
- Is the letter E hidden in the Chessboard pieces robe.
Now, hopefully, you’ll have found all the letters to answer the clue I gave:
‘This immortal is commonly used in marches to compete in the Chess contest. Primarily, used for the 600% (maxed) physical damage he does to the enemy. Along with reducing their attack speed by 15% over 6 seconds. With a cascade of arrows unleashed on an unsuspecting random enemy unit they don't stand much of a chance.
- What is the name of the immortal I am referring to?
Hidden within the image are letters, that will give you the name of the Ultimate skill of this mystery immortal. Once, you've unscrambled these letters you'll have your answer hehe.’
The Answer was of course JUSTICE RAID AND THIS ULTIMATE SKILL BELONGED TO THE IMMORTAL:- ROBIN HOOD.
Maybe in the comments below you could tell me why this immortal will be a mainstay for many players taking part in Chess Battle. What are the Pros and Cons of this Immortal? He does have impressive Physical DMG stats when maxed 600%. Robin arrows pack a mighty punch. But he only attacks 1 enemy unit, more AOE would have been great. However, the attack speed is significantly reduced, making that random enemy unit open to attack.
Robin Hood: Pros and Cons
Here’s a breakdown of why Robin Hood is a popular pick, particularly in events like Battle Chess
Pros
High Single-Target Physical Damage:
- Robin Hood’s ultimate skill, Piercing Shot, deals massive physical damage to a single target, making him ideal for sniping down key enemy backliners.
Energy Cost Efficiency:
- His skill has a low energy cost compared to many other damage dealers, allowing him to release his ultimate faster.
- Strong Early-Game Immortal:
- Robin Hood is a B-Tier Immortal but punches above his weight due to his reliable damage output.
- Easy to obtain and upgrade, making him F2P-friendly for early-mid game players.
- Synergy with Critical Hit Skills:
- Robin Hood works exceptionally well with ToK skills like Anger, Cleave, and Battle Frenzy, which enhance his crit rate and damage output.
- Versatile in Battle Chess:
- In Battle Chess, Robin Hood’s ability to focus down single units quickly makes him valuable for dismantling enemy formations piece by piece.
Cons
- Glass Cannon:
- Robin Hood has low defense and HP, making him vulnerable to burst attacks and focus fire.
- He requires solid frontline protection to survive long enough to deal his damage.
- Single-Target Focus:
- While his damage is impressive, it’s limited to a single target which can be a drawback against AoE-heavy teams.
- Falls Off in Late Game:
- As stronger S-tier Immortals are unlocked, Robin Hood’s raw damage potential becomes outclassed by other DPS options like Himiko or Attila.
-Reliant and Support
- He needs strong defensive Immortals (like Charles or Zenobia) and energy-giving ToK skills to ensure he can fire his ultimate consistently.
Why Robin Hood is Popular in Battle Chess
- Targeting Key Units: Robin Hood’s Piercing Shot can efficiently eliminate high-value backline units, such as healers or damage dealers.
- Energy Efficiency: His low energy requirement allows him to unleash his skill quickly, giving him an early advantage in the match.
- Battle Chess Meta: In this event, a single-target burst is highly effective because the board has fewer units, and eliminating key targets quickly can turn the tide of battle.
Summary Takeaway
Robin Hood shines as a cost-effective damage dealer in events like Battle Chess. His strengths lie in his fast energy gain and high single-target damage, but he requires careful team planning to protect him. Pair him with solid defensive units and critical hit-enhancing skills, and he’ll consistently deliver value.
I hope you found the above information helpful and that you will be able to adopt some of the ideas into your battle plans for Battle Chess.
Good Luck to you all, may you swiftly move up the ranking and gain those rewards. Have a great Sunday:))
