[Review] Analysis of the Ghost Fiesta Event in Infinity Kingdom

What’s up, folks? Welcome to my article where I will be taking a look at the latest event in Infinity Kingdom, the Ghost Fiesta. The event is an annual seasonal one that makes its rounds around Halloween and is generally a good chance for players to get valuable rewards for free. Some items may not be worth it for certain tiers of players to spend resources and AP chasing at a certain point so let’s take a look at where the value lies and determine whether the event is worth spending on.

💠Overview

The event started on Thursday, October 31, and will last until the end of Monday, November 4, giving players five days to complete all the tasks and collect the rewards they want. The event is divided into three parts: sets of daily tasks, crafting, and rewards. Some parts of the event are easier to do than others, but not all rewards and quests are worth doing.

💠Shadowy Spectres

This portion of the event consists of sets of daily tasks. Every day, three sets of five tasks will be unlocked for players to earn points that count toward rewards. Every completed task will contribute 10 points toward rewards. Tasks can be repeated so if it appears on Day 1, don’t assume it won’t appear again in subsequent days. For example, Day 1 features missions that require players to train troops and defeat gnomes. Those same missions could appear again in later days. For Well of Time tasks, I would advise against using SP potions to complete the tasks until the last day. Players may not have sufficient SP potions to complete Well of Time tasks on each day so it’s better to wait until the last day to use potions so you can complete all of the Well of Time tasks at the same time. Some days will require you to defeat boss gnomes and other days will force you to plunder from other castles.

You can get 20 Spider Webs and 20 Birdie Eggs per set for a total of 60 apiece per day. Every task will also give 5, 10, 15, or 25 Gems. Players can also collect 40 Stardusts by reaching 600 points. You will also get 100 Surprise Milk Candies and 300 Raspberry Jam to be used in conjunction with the webs and eggs. Since there are five days and 15 tasks per day, you can get a total of 750 points so you won’t need to finish every single task to claim all the rewards in this section. This is the easiest part of the event. Just by logging in and completing their regular daily tasks, players can finish this section extremely easily. The most difficult tasks are probably clearing Well of Time stages and defeating hundreds of gnomes since it’s AP-intensive.

💠Scary Pumpkins

Players can gather and collect resources, defeat gnomes, and battle bosses for a chance to obtain Ghost Fiesta Chests that can be opened for Raspberry Jams, Spider Webs, and Birdie Eggs. You will get one chest for about every three gnomes and every boss battle will usually drop one chest. Gathering and collecting resources don’t give as many chests but it will supplement the AP you’ll use for gnomes and bosses.

💠Trick or Treat

Raspberry Jams, Spider Webs, and Birdie Eggs can be combined to create Strange Candies. Unfortunately, you can only create one or five candies at a time. To make the experience better, the development team should allow players to combine as many sets and create as many candies as possible all at once. The process takes a little bit as the rewards you can trade the candies for will require hundreds of candies.

💠Gift Party

At the Gift Party, players can trade in their Surprise Milk Candies and Strange Candies for rewards. Spenders can purchase additional Surprise Milk Candies from the Candy Feast bundles. They cost $4.99, $9.99, $19.99, $49.99, and $99.99 for 8, 16, 24, 40, and 52 candies, respectively. Each pack can be purchased once per day throughout the event. The first two bundles have the best value.

For free-to-play players, since you get 100 Surprise Milk for free, the highest priority items should be the 100 Stardust, 60 Artifact Schematic Fragment Selection Chests, and 60 Random Immortal Fragments. Together, they cost a total of 100 Surprise Milk Candies and 140 Strange Candies. For collectors, the two frames and chat box will run a total of 55 Surprise Milk Candies. For spenders, you would need to purchase at least $150 worth of bundles to get 360 candies for the 80 Fate of Chaos Selection Chests. Comparatively, it’s decent value unless you need the Exclusive Artifact fragments from the Chaos Roulette. Otherwise, with the free candies, I would prioritize the 50 Crimson Moonlight for 35 Surprise Milk Candies before spending the rest on anything else.

💠Summary

In my opinion, the event has a little something for all types of players. Not only that, it’s easy to complete and all the rewards should be easy to obtain. The 100 free Surprise Milk Candies is generous and is a good way to help those who don’t spend a lot catch up and progress.
