💠Overview
Blessing of Triss is a weekly premium event in which players can purchase Divine Coins and use them for a chance at Exclusive Artifacts(EA) as well as Skill Stones(SS). Every wish is rewarded with a Cinder of Wish that players can use in the Triss shop to purchase EA, SS, and Alchemy Stones which can reset artifacts. There are 151 items in the pool which consist of 143 resource items, seven different 30-piece EA, and one set of 12 SS. Players can exclude certain EA from the pool to increase the odds of other rare rewards and 60 SS are required to unlock a skill. The latest patch increased the number of coins per package and removed the Unique Artifact Schematic Fragment Chests that contained a random number of pieces of Hannibal Barca, Richard I, and Ramesses II’s artifacts.
💠Packs
There are three packs players can purchase that cost $19.99, $49.99, and $99.99.
💠$20 Pack
The $20 pack gives eight Divine Coins, an Epic Forging Material Chest, 400,000 Gold, 2,300 gems, and VIP Points. This used to give five Divine Coins, a Unique Artifact Schematic Fragment Chest I, five Superior Resource Chests, 2,300 gems, and VIP Points. If we only count the coins, each coin is worth $4 in the old pack. With the update, the main difference is that players get an additional three coins but lose the EA chest. Players get 60% more coins.
💠$50 Pack
The $50 pack gives 12 Divine Coins, two Epic Forging Material Chests, 600,000 Gold, 6,000 gems, and VIP Points. This used to give 10 Divine Coins, a Unique Artifact Schematic Fragment Chest II, 10 Superior Resource Chests, 6,000 gems, and VIP Points. With the update, players get an additional two coins but lose the EA chest. Players get only 20% more coins.
💠$100 Pack
The $100 pack gives 24 Divine Coins, three Epic Forging Material Chests, 800,000 Gold, 12,500 gems, and VIP Points. This used to give 20 Divine Coins, a Unique Artifact Schematic Fragment Chest III, 20 Superior Resource Chests, 12,500 gems, and VIP Points. With the update, players get an additional four coins but lose the EA chest. Players also only get 20% more coins.
💠Coin Value Increase Calculations
Unfortunately for Mixed Earth users, there isn’t a premium way for players to those artifacts in the chests in the previous version of the packs. Let’s assume for a minute you only care about the Divine Coins. Let’s also assume your luck is extremely mediocre and will take you half of the item pool to get the prized set of Skill Stones, which is about 76 coins. As you can also see, the $20 pack is the best value. So how many purchases of $20 packs will it take to get one skill with the old and new packs?
Since each skill requires 60 SS, you will need five pulls. If each pull takes 76 coins, that comes out to a total of 380 coins. Since the old version of the $20 only gave five coins, you would need 76 purchases of the $20 pack, totaling $1,520. With the new version of eight coins, you would only need about 48 packs, totaling $960. That’s a massive 36.9% reduction in cost.
What if your luck is awful and you need the whole pool to pull the set of SS? Since the whole pool costs 151 coins, you will need a total of 755 coins. 151 packs of $20 will cost $3,020 under the old pack. With the patch, you will need about 95 packs, totaling $1,900. It’s ever so slightly better at a 37.1% reduction.
💠Summary
Although Blessing of Triss is still a game of chance, the update has made it significantly cheaper for players to get skills locked behind the event. Players should ONLY buy the $20 pack for 40% more coin value than the other two packs. Unlocking skills will generally cost about 37% cheaper than it used to be. Unfortunately for Mixed Earth users, you lose access to Hannibal Barca’s artifact.
