The thrilling and emotional Siege of Winterfell season had finally come to an end. The final standings weren't exactly what was hoped for, and HOH failed to secure a place on the podium of the best alliances. However, the battles had been intense and satisfying, and it was finally time for a break before the start of Alliance Conquest.
Neik, Ferrious, and Mayhem were enjoying a well-deserved break between one event and another for their alliance. However, a new and exciting challenge awaited them just around the corner: it was time for another Kingdom vs Kingdom event!
The eagerly anticipated and thrilling event brought with it enticing rewards, and the HOH group wanted to obtain them at all costs. So, in the days leading up to the event, they dusted off their battle plan that, until now, had led them to victory in all such events they participated in. However, with the departure of their friend Tominy, Ferrious added a new twist, saying, "Since MiloBirdiee is not in HOH but is present in our kingdom, we'll join FeR, my second alliance, to allow us to fight together!" And just like that, temporarily, the HOH group transformed into the FeR group!
"I will be holding King's Landing and waiting for any enemy offensives, while Neik, you'll go into hiding, waiting for the enemies to make the first move," was the strategy that had worked wonders so far. Possessing the most important building with an adequate number of troops would secure the final victory, as the score generated by it was extremely high.
It was time to discover who their formidable opponent would be. It was...

The small kingdom of K60 was not one of the most formidable: sparsely populated, it had among its members warriors of medium level, but they were not true fighters, much like their rivals from K345, excluding perhaps the members of FeR. Among them, however, a name stood out after the initial reconnaissance... BerserK!

It was an old acquaintance, a member of FDH, an alliance that Neik, Ferrious, and Mayhem were very familiar with. They had fought alongside FDH for a long time before changing direction and joining HOH.
"BerserK is a formidable opponent, very tough to face individually. We need to be careful not to be caught off guard," Neik immediately warned his companions, well aware of the opponent's attacking power.
"If I remember correctly, he prefers combat with spears. I should still be able to withstand his attacks in case he decides to launch an assault on King's Landing," added Ferrious. The strategy remained the same even after the revelation of the rival.

The first few hours proceeded smoothly for the K345 group, which, without too much difficulty, managed to take control of King's Landing with Ferrious in command and the support troops of Mayhem and MiloBirdiee. While waiting to discover the plans of the formidable rival, Neik hid in the darkness of the night, biding his time for the opportune moment...
Not seeing any movement in his own kingdom and with the enemy score continuing to rise on par with that of K345, Neik decided to reveal himself. He ventured into the rival Kingdom for reconnaissance, and that's when he discovered...

Their rival was in possession of King's Landing heavily supported by allied troops. Neik returned from his reconnaissance to share the obtained information.
"I think we should hit him with a single attack," exclaimed Ferrious. He didn't believe the enemy would decide to take a Rally but rather withdraw the troops.
"Okay, but who should go? Almost all of his troops are Spears, so Mayhem, who fights with Cav, is excluded."
"I'll go this time. He seems like the perfect opponent for my Infs, and with the Weakness formation against Weakness, I should damage his defenses. However, the number of troops could make the difference in his favor," concluded Ferrious.
And so, in no time, his march set out to strike the well-defended walls of the enemy, who did not expect the incoming attack, and...

The attack carried out by the K345 member resulted in a crushing... defeat.
The opponent's statistics were incredible; despite Ferrious attacking with his Infs, which should perfectly counter the defense formation, the rival's strength and the presence of so many more troops proved lethal.
"Are you okay?" Neik asked the ally returning from the battle.
"Yes, I still managed to make him lose 600k troops, but he gained control of my Lord..." replied a disheartened Ferrious.
"I don't think I'll be able to do much better, but I'll try to launch some attacks as well," concluded Neik.
Having accurate information about the enemy's defenses and the remaining troop numbers, it was worth attempting an offensive to weaken the castle as much as possible and gain an advantage in points, especially since Mayhem still held control of King's Landing in K345.
And so, Neik set out for the attack...
Once again, the outcome of the attacks favored the K60 member, but the losses were starting to add up. As the number of opponents approached the number of attackers, it became increasingly challenging for BerserK to contain Neik's fury, who struck very hard. Just before facing the third enemy offensive, the FDH member decided to withdraw all the troops in support of King's Landing.

"It didn't go exactly as I hoped," Neik revealed, disappointed that he hadn't won at least one of the two attacks.
"Look on the bright side; he withdrew his troops. Now we should try a Rally at his base," Ferrious replied. The enemy still held his own, and Ferrious genuinely believed that Neik could defeat the rival with a united attack.
"Alright, let's do it. At worst, he'll try to dodge the attack, but at least you'll reclaim your lord!" Neik concluded before starting to mobilize the troops. Mayhem and MiloBirdiee also gathered near their companion to participate in the offensive.
...ended in a disappointing stalemate. Wisely, the enemy decided to release the imprisoned lord and flee, recognizing that it would be a very bloody conflict for all parties involved and choosing not to take the risk.
"Well, we knew it could happen," Neik addressed his companions. "At least we can continue to hold onto KL with Ferrious in command, ensuring he reaches the top position in the final ranking."
"I believe that will be the only goal we won't have to fight for..." she caught everyone off guard. "A messenger has arrived from the enemy lines:

The understandable surrender of the rival had arrived: outnumbered, any losses suffered would fall solely on him, and nearing the AC season, this was not a great idea.

In the final ranking, the top three positions were taken by Ferrious, BerserK, and MsMayhem. As for Neik, he no longer needed the rewards they would provide, so he graciously allowed the rival to claim the second position as a gesture of fair play.
The standout fighters were:
Ferrious for K345, his possession of King's Landing was crucial to securing the final victory.
BerserK for K60, who tried to resist the enemy offensives as much as possible, but alone, he couldn't perform miracles.
And so, another Kingdom vs Kingdom concluded with another victory for the group. At the end of the day, they gathered at HOH in anticipation of the imminent start of Alliance Conquest, which promised to be exciting. With the dissolution of DEP, there would be a new winner at the end of Ultimate Conquest. Who could it be – WxC and VVTF, the former receiving many members from the latter, or perhaps one of N3O and BDR, allies during AoW but now rivals in the AC season? We will find out...
