Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about the Trove and Dragon Chest Key.

The Trove is the place where your Dragon Chest goes after you defeat a Gnome Boss. It can hold up to 3 chests that you can purify in order to open them after a time, to get Dragon Crystal and Speedup (amount depends on the level and quality of the chest).

You have the option to not wait for the purification time by using a Key or Gems. I would not recommend using gems, there are better options for that currency.

Using a key should depend on the level of the chest. The same key is used to open a chest level 1 and a chest level 18, which means the value of the key is immediately linked to the level of the chest it will be used on.

For the more impatient player i would start using keys once i can kill gnome bosses level 11 and above. For the most patient, wait till you can open level 18 chests and maximize the value of each and every single key you get.

Obviously you can use a key to manage your offline time, the goal is as much as possible to always have one chest in the purification queue at all times.

Keys are earned just by doing your daily task in game and various events, participate in the spider and they can also be bought in the Rift Breaker shop. I would still recommend prioritising Stardust and Dragon Essence over Dragon Key.

Dragon Crystal will be used to upgrade your Dragon skill level, Talent, Talent node and Portrait, it is a very important resource and you should really be careful of your Trove and its timer since it will translate into a lot of power for your march.

Conclusion : 

The key factor here (pun intended) is that the value of the key is directly linked to the level of the chest. The more patient you will be, the more rewards you will get as often in this game.
