Hello peasants and trolls! I hope you are having a blessed day. This season’s Ultimate Conquest has been incredibly unpredictable. My bracket was wrecked almost immediately as some of the safest bets were ruined. I won’t get into details but I’m sure everyone knows what I’m talking about. The bracket busting ended later on in the tournament as the top alliances rose to the top.
Today we will take a look at the match between some old adversaries, BDR and N30! These two always seem to meet in the Ultimate Conquest tournament. BDR has been on the winning side of these meetings as of late having beaten N30 firmly in the past several seasons. Will N30 be able to upset more people by beating BDR? Will BDR continue their win streak against N30 and move onto the next match? Let’s find out!
A few minutes prior to the match beginning we see that BDR and N30 both have all 100 seats full. BDR had a minor player advantage two minutes prior to the match start. This small amount of member difference can make a difference at this level. The cost of healing troops to refill positions on the map becomes incredibly costly. A tough hard won match is costly and can cause the following match to be lost if the healing speeds are used up in the prior victory.
N30 were able to win the races and got all the buildings that initially opened up. But BDR is great at their timing and team work. BDR was able to quickly snipe the Tower of the Warrior as N30 failed to swap properly.
The remaining locations were quickly rallied by the BDR players and were taken. BDR went from being down 4 buildings to being up 4 buildings. A nail biter?
The ports open up and BDR is able to secure one while N30 secures the other one. N30 is able to secure one of the Lannister strongholds after a series of rallies. This location gives a very small amount of points per minute. At this stage of the game the points per minute advantage is squarely in the hands of BDR.
N30 Phil is holding the N30 port against the onslaught of BDR rallies. BDR’s rallies are tightly timed and N30 didn’t have much time if any to reinforce Phil before BDR took possession of the building.
BDR Jouza took the location and secured another location for BDR. The ports give a large amount of points per minute. Until the opening of the Casterly Rock the ports are the most important positions to give points. BDR now controls both of these ports and so the points.
Casterly Rock opens up and BDR Nuelle is able to beat N30 to the location. BDR is doing very well right now and having already control of the ports the addition of Casterly Rock will increase their points per minute advantage.
N30 are relegated to two locations, the Tower of the Warrior and one of the Lannister strongholds. The points per minute N30 are receiving are minimal at this time.
N30 try to take some of the buildings that give great points per minute. They set their rallies against BDR Barrack on the nearest port but fail to inflict any significant damage to this titan. BDR is able to refill the port before the rallies imply any significant threat.
BDR doesn’t sit on their lead but rather go on the attack as they rally TheOnlyKing.
The timing of the BDR rallies gave N30 no time to reinforce. TheOnlyKing’s defense collapsed rather quickly against the BDR rally onslaught.
N30UrCandy is in Casterly Rock to test his defensive might against the BDR rallies. How does he do?
The defense failed. The timing of the BDR rallies left a small window of time for N30 to reinforce but that window was tiny and N30 failed to reinforce sufficiently.
BDR God Emperor swaps for Casterly Rock and is not reinforced quickly enough. N30 sends a bunch of solo attacks against the titan in order to take back Casterly Rock prior to a full defense is available.
N30 Drakonjan is able to take possession of Casterly Rock for N30! Well done. N30 is contesting this match and won’t lay down.
N30 are gaining some momentum and try rallying the port held by BDR Jouza. The defense goes down to 8 players before the rallies stop coming from N30. BDR’s defense holds on the port. This is a close match.
BDR doesn’t reinforce the location fast enough and N30 sees a chance to take it with solo attacks. N30 UrCandy ends up occupying the location. A rare slip up for BDR.
UrCandy doesn’t have the location for long before he is kicked out. BDR now has a points per minute advantage over N30.
The mines open up and N30 get a hold of both of them. N30 has a chance at upsetting more brackets!
After some back and forth action in the mines and massive defensive wins on the other locations on the map BDR emerges victorious in a real nail biter! Best match of the season. Well done to both BDR and N30 on this classic match.
