Another Sunday arrived, bringing with it the long-awaited War of the Kingdoms. This time the merits were increased — but the troops were not coming back. In other words… the real deal.

During the last KvK, Lux had a spectacular day playing alongside her teammates Dom and Lord Romus, even managing to trap a powerful enemy who had been hunting her all over the map. But this time everything felt different. She returned to K115, where her alliance waited — including Winternig, Taube Casti, Romilia, and many other friends. Winternig was the strongest account on the server, so everyone believed there would be no major issues… or so they thought.

As the countdown reached zero, matchmaking paired K115 against K477. At first glance, K477 looked almost empty — only a few castles scattered around. But soon Taube spotted something alarming: a RoD hive. RoD again? First in AoW, then in GB, and now in KvK?

Everyone became extremely cautious. Glorious Battle was running at the same time, meaning both resources and troops were precious. Among the RoD players stood none other than Lord Orval — one of the strongest accounts in the entire game. Even Winternig felt uneasy about the idea of fighting him.

As soon as KvK began, RoD messaged GJs requesting a peaceful NAP: do not touch their farms and leave King’s Landing on K477 untouched. Everyone agreed. Taube informed the alliance that farming was safe as long as nobody occupied K477’s King’s Landing.

When Lux logged in, she saw everyone farming peacefully — but she refused. Instead, she marched her army toward a castle to grab some quick points. Before long, she climbed into the Top 5 rankings. Everything seemed calm and controlled.

She shared her coordinates with Warlord and DRS16, who reinforced her and gained some points themselves. All felt perfect… until the unexpected happened.

GJs Yogy logged in — apparently without reading alliance mail or chat — and began attacking RoD farms, even targeting T1 armies. A huge mistake. RoD quickly warned him, but he continued. RoD contacted Taube, Taube contacted Yogy — but it was too late. Yogy captured K477’s King’s Landing.

The NAP was over.

At that moment K115 was ahead in points, but with Lord Orval on the field everything could change instantly. Soon he jumped into K115 — a clear signal that peace was finished. He began capturing castles like Casterly Rock and Highgarden, where DRS16 and Warlord had stationed their armies. He soon found them and zeroed DRS16, while Warlord narrowly escaped.

Lux warned Warlord: “He’s active — be careful!”

But Lux herself felt strangely fearless. She sat unbubbled near the Eyrie. Ever since upgrading Cossomo to four stars and replacing Salma in her formation, she felt unstoppable — maybe too unstoppable.

Alliance members urged her to bubble up. “Orval has everything maxed,” they warned. But Lux held both King’s Landing and the Eyrie with T5 troops. As time passed, uneasiness crept in. She knew her chances were slim if Orval attacked — unless she had her full army inside her castle.

She activated anti-scout and swapped Cossomo for Daenerys, hoping for the best. At that moment she was ranked 2nd — just behind Warlord and one spot above Lord Orval.

Warlord bubbled again.

“Lux, you’re crazy!” he told her.

“Yes… but I want to try,” she replied.

She waited… and waited… until finally — the sign appeared. Lord Orval was scouting the Eyrie. Before she could react, his full army struck, killing many of her T5s. “Oh no… I’m so stupid,” she muttered, quickly recalling her Lord and troops from King’s Landing.

Within minutes Orval stood next to her castle — her greatest fear realized. She could be zeroed… or she could win. The odds were small but possible.

Orval attempted to scout but failed. He launched a full attack with T4 troops and his best weakness lineup. Lux’s hands shook as she opened the report. Her power dropped — panic set in. Slowly… she checked the results.

POOF!

She had held off Lord Orval.

She knew he hadn’t used T5s or his Lord — but victory was still victory. After destroying around 700,000 of his T4 troops, Lux jumped into 1st place on the KvK rankings.

“First place… me?” she whispered in disbelief.

She immediately messaged her RoD friend Latrasil and sent the battle report.

“Lux… I’m scared of you now,” he replied.

Soon after, Lord Orval messaged her with a simple “GG” before returning to K477. Lux could hardly believe it. Had she really just won against RoD?

For the rest of KvK she finally bubbled up, still buzzing from her small but unforgettable victory. She knew the outcome might have been different if Orval had used his full power… but still — what if?

The next day she received a special golden avatar awarded only to first-place KvK players.

“Don’t I look amazing in gold?” she asked Taube.

“No, Lux — you look like Cossomo now,” he joked.

She laughed it off. After all, her favorite commander was finally in her formation — and she proudly declared:

“I got first place thanks to Cossomo!”

But would Cossomo help her in the next Glorious Battle?

Stay tuned…
