Today we will be talking about artifacts and the most efficient path to develop artifacts.

What are Artifacts?

 Artifacts are unlocked when your server completed Chronicle 15 “Great Expectations” once 9 lvl6 or higher cities have been occupied in Norheim.

Artifact slots are something like additional equipment you can add to your immortal once they are above level 30 and have reached 7 stars. 

You will have to use 120 immortal shards to unlock that specific immortal’s artifact slot. 

Artifact types

 If you have not noticed yet, there are 5 types of immortals in the Infinity Kingdom. For frontline immortals, we have Attack (Alexander the Great) and Defense (Charles the Great) immortal, and for backline immortals, we have Magic (Merlin), Range (Yoshi), and Support (Dido) immortals.

Each of these immortal types has its unique artifacts, specifically:

• Support [Immortal Artifacts]
• Range [Immortal Artifacts]
• Magic [Immortal Artifacts]
• Attack [Immortal Artifacts]
• Defence [Immortal Artifacts]

Artifact Basic and Special Attributes

 Artifacts are always guaranteed basic attributes which include a primary main stat and 0~3 secondary attributes. All artifacts have a bonus that is called a special attribute. These special attributes enable the artifact to be developed for more basic stats and stronger special stats.

Artifact Quality and Materials required

 There are 4 tiers of quality, namely normal, rare, elite and lastly epic. Each of these requires the corresponding material rarity to craft them. 

The materials needed are specifically:

• Support [Immortal Artifacts] 6x Elemental and 6x Powder
• Range [Immortal Artifacts] 6x Potion and 6x Powder
• Magic [Immortal Artifacts] 6x Elemental and 6x Powder
• Attack [Immortal Artifacts] 6x Oil and 6x Potion
• Defence [Immortal Artifacts] 6x Oil and 6x Elemental

Bonus point: both support and magic artifacts require the same materials, hence it is easier to farm those 2 together to level up your artifacts.

Artifact Upgrade and Develop

Upgrade:

Upgrade uses other artifacts as fodder to add XP to the artifact of your choice, and when it gains enough to level up, the basic attributes of the artifact will increase. A level 15 artifact can be empowered to Silver and Gold by using sun crystal and empowered sun crystal respectively.

Develop:

Develop function uses x number of artifacts of the same rarity to increase the tier of special attributes, with the number of artifacts required based on the * of the artifact. E.g. 1 artifact for 1*, 2 artifact for 2* and so on. Developing an artifact will give a boost to the basic attribute of the artifact as well.

Conclusion

Artifacts are unlocked after completing chronicle 15 and will be a huge source of your immortals’ power. It is to the extent that your march skill set will be dependent on what artifacts your immortals are using. I recommend focusing on this artifact feature of the game if you are serious about getting stronger.
