Another Saturday and another match of SoW. On this day all alliances will play their sixth and final match of the season. We will have a closer look at one of the matches in the Super League, a match between alliances BC! and WAO, which can be crucial for both parties, as with a win in this round they will rank in the top thirty alliance.

On one side we have the alliance BC!. They have won all their SoW matches so far and are on a winning streak. Can they do it one more time against a stronger alliance? They will try their best for sure.

They defeated N0X alliance in their previous SoW match. It was a close match but in the end BC! forces managed to turn the ties and win the match.

Diver has been continuously the MVP of the matches on BC!’s side. But he is not alone in the top elimination rankings, he is accompanied by MegaBron, UltiMayhem, NellaFantasi, mak 1, Antheiaa, and Misiol69. They are a force to reckon with. However, today they are facing their most powerful opponent so far.

And on the other side, we have WAO, a strong and destructive alliance. Winning this match is what they are going for and they will do all they can to accomplish this. Having 30B more power than their opponent must have boosted their Morales for this game.

They have also won all of their previous matches and it seems they are unstoppable. They have defeated CXI, UTB, SiG, BUL, and N29.

Here is a list of their strongest players.

Here are WAO’s two strongest players, CSM1 and Achille.

Without further ado, let's jump into the game.

As the battle preparation time ends, we can see that players on both sides have joined the map and are getting ready for the match. BC! has 69 players on the north side of the map (Stark’s side) and 68 players have joined the match on WAO’s side, on the south side of the map (Greyjoy’s side). So, in terms of the number of players, both alliances have the same number of players in this match.

In this match BC! plan is to go for both Armory and Hot Spring (as always) but they will focus most of their troops and strongest ones at the Armory since they know they will need the extra attack and defense buffs against their opponent that might be stronger than them. So, to the Armory, they go.

Minutes later, the main armies collide at the Armory and at Hot Spring. While BC! forces push at the Armory, the number of players on this front is almost equal and it is a fair fight.

On the other side of the map, WAO players try to overpower their opponent at the Hot Spring and it seems they have the numbers to do that. They outnumber their opponent 2 to 1.

As the fierce battles in the two main buildings continue, both sides capture their outposts and bases.

After a long and gruesome battle at the Armory, BC! forces finally manage to push back their enemies and take the building.

However, the battle at the Hot Spring is still ongoing and BC! players have managed to overcome their lack of numbers, by maneuvering and regrouping in this area. The 2-to-1 advantage that WAO had at the start is gone and both sides have an equal number of troops (marches).

Finally, after almost ten minutes of fighting, with new reinforcements coming to form the south, WAO forces managed to take Hot Spring and break enemy defenses.

BC! troops from Armory and Base 1, slowly march toward Base 3 and attack the enemy from two sides.

As we reach minute thirteen of the game, it is time for a treasure drop at Winterfell, and WAO troops are prepared to pick up the treasure and repel any enemy forces that might interfere.

As soon as the treasure drops, WAO forces pick it up and start running towards Base 4. However, what they did not expect was BC! troops cutting them off midway and snatching the treasure. Horses22 (BC!)  picks it up and starts running in the opposite direction, towards Base 2. In the meanwhile, BC! launches a counterattack on the Hot Spring. What a game this is, there are fights all over the map!

We are 15 minutes in the game, and at this point, WAO and BC! have the exact same score and they are both holding 5 buildings, so it all comes down to the treasure.

Both parties are fighting on two fronts, a battle at the Hot Spring and a brutal and intensive fight over the treasure. Since the scores are the same, the side that can deliver the treasure will increase their chance of winning this match.

Finally, after ten minutes of fighting and exchanging the treasure, BC! manages to deliver it to Base 2 and secure its points. With this delivery, BC! now has a 4k lead.

In the meanwhile, BC! counterattack on Hot Spring was successful and they have captured this building, now they can heal their wounded and get back in the fight. However, they have lost the Armory. In a close match like this, anything an alliance does is a trade-off. They focused on the Hot Spring and treasure, and they lost the Armory, but it was worth it for them, as they really needed 100% healing speed. They have achieved their objective and all players are asked to heal their troops and join the fight.

BC! leadership knows that the winner of this match will be decided by the treasure and therefore, they decide to secure the Witnerfell and get ready for the next treasure drop. But despite their effort, WAO players overpower them and Migina (WAO) picks up the treasure.

The issue is that BC! forces are to spread out on the map, they are fighting at the Armory, Base 2, Base 3, and even at Hot Spring. This has given WAO troops enough time to secure the treasure. WAO forces decide to go to Base 4 to drop the treasure and after a long fight over the treasure, it seems BC! cannot stop the WAO players from carrying the treasure, therefore, they decide to go to the source and capture Base 4. If they can do that, WAO cannot drop the treasure there. So they go all in for Base 4 and as they are close to victory, they realize that WAO troops carrying the treasure have rerouted and now are moving toward Greyjoy Outpost 2. Now unfortunately there is nothing BC! can do to stop them, because Greyjoy Outpost 2 is just too far away for their troops to reach. WAO has adapted its strategy quite well and they deliver the treasure safely.

So far, this match has not been about strength but about strategies and plans. With WAO delivering the last treasure, they have surpassed BC! in points, but BC! controls most of the buildings at this time and they can turn things around.

BC! has all the map control they need. There is only 22 minutes left in the game and the win is in their grasp if they can take the next treasure and deliver it safely. Minutes go by as WAO is launching counterattacks on all sides, Base 4, Base 3, Armory, and even Hot Spring, but their main target will be the treasure at Winterfell. As the treasure drops, BC! players pick it up and as the fight over treasure gets more intense, BC! focuses all their troops on the treasure and its destination, Stark Outpost 2. Why Stark Outpost 2, you might ask, well BC! plan is to delay the delivery of the treasure if they can, so this treasure becomes the last treasure in this match and if they can implement this plan successfully, they can win.

That is why JonSnow9, who is the final carrier of the treasure, is instructed to not deliver the treasure and just wait outside of the outpost. Unfortunately, after a couple of minutes, he has been attacked multiple times and he must deliver the treasure fast before he dies and drops it. This time BC! cannot stick to their original plan and this might be their downfall, however, they are still in the lead.

Since BC! was mostly focused on the treasure and Stark Outpost 2 for the last couple of minutes, WAO had enough time to take most of the buildings.

Now WAO is closing the gap by holding 8 out of 10 buildings and with 960 points per minute advantage. BC! needs to take back half of the buildings to have equal points per minute. Furthermore, they need to focus on the last treasure at Winterfell. They do not need to deliver it; all they must do is stop WAO from delivering it!

But this time, WAO has secured Winterfell. They have posted troops at all sides, and it is certain that they will pick up the treasure.

WAO players pick up the treasure at Winterfell and start running towards Base 4, everyone in BC! knows what they need to do. They need to either disrupt the delivery of the treasure by attacking the carrier or they need to capture Base 4, so the treasure cannot be delivered there. As the majority of BC! forces are closer to Base 4 than the treasure, they decide to go for capturing Base 4. Base 4 will be the final stand for BC!.

BC! players cannot hold Base 4, since they do not have the numbers. WAO forces have an almost 3 to 1 advantage in numbers. As a result, BC! forces decide to go for the treasure and try to waste as much time as they can, so the game is finished before the treasure is dropped. ‘’Everyone to the treasure’, BC! leadership said.

They fought and even managed to pick up the treasure at some point, but in the end, they were simply overpowered and outnumbered and could not delay any more. The last treasure was delivered moments before the match was over and with it, WAO secured their win. What a close match this was!

Here is a short video of BC!’s last stand:

https://youtu.be/b0OIkoqXF3M

The match ended with WAO being the winner. As we can see from the points, it all came down to that one treasure that WAO successfully delivered in the end.

Let’s have a look at the total elimination rankings.

As always diver is in the lead and he is followed by Achille (WAO), MegaBron(BC!), UltiMayhem(BC!), Decapiteur (WAO), and CCK(WAO). As we can see the top rankings are divided between BC! and WAO players, as it was really a close match.

Congratulations to both alliances for fighting brilliantly and for this good match. I wish them both success in their future endeavors.

Stay tuned, this season of SoW is over but soon we will cover AC and UC games!

Thank you all.
