Introduction

Morning Infinity Kingdom community, today we are going to talk about the best way for you to set up your team to fight the gnome boss Death Stinger. I will teach you about Death Stinger and which are the best immortals to use against it, and the corresponding TOK skills to deal with it.

Death Stinger

Most players have no idea about what kind of Stat Death Stinger has. Today I will enlighten you on a way you can use to estimate the stats of Death Stinger. You can do this by referring to the Water Dragon Glyndwr Stat: 

From it you can infer that Death Stinger will have high Physical attack and Magic Defense, while having low Physical Defense.

Moving on to Death Stinger’s Skill, Frost Burst is a dangerous one hit skill that you should never let Death Stinger cast.

How to minimize loss while fighting Death Stinger

Well the best way to minimize loss is to kill the boss as quickly as you can. We know that Death Stinger has low physical defense and high physical attack + dangerous one hit skill. Let me introduce to you a universal strong immortal that can be used against all gnome bosses; Hippolyta! Hippolyta’s Flaming Smite will strike at the single target gnome boss 5 times, 7times if u have her artifact, which can stack up to 50%/70% reduced attack speed and reduce energy by 500/700. Which is to say Flaming Strike can reduce the number of attacks Death Stinger deals, and also reduce his energy, making Death Stinger unable to cast Frost Burst, significantly reducing the damage taken by your immortals.

Her complimentary TOK skills would be Adrenaline Rush, Absolute Defense and Berserk. Adrenaline Rush to increase the number of Flaming Strike she cast. Absolute Defense to reduce damage taken, and Berserk to gain back health to reduce troop loss while increasing the number of normal attacks the whole team deals.

The second frontline immortal will be Alex. Alex is the strongest physical damage dealer in the game. His skill Eternal Conquest grants him 50% attack damage right off the start, and his active skill further increases damage dealt by 50% and Attack Speed by 50%. The best skill on him would be Anger, Combo and Coercion. Anger to buff his normal attack+combo damage, and coercion to make sure all of Alex and Hippolyta damage lands.

The backline immortals will be Empress Wu and Cyrus the Great. You may be wondering, why bring a magic damage dealer and supporter to fight Death Stinger? This is because we will be using a fire dragon and triggering the 4 units of the same element buff to obtain a 20% immortal physical and magical attack bonus. Besides that, Empress Wu is the highest damage immortal for a single unit target due to her skill Imperial Fire scaling being 600%. With that in mind, the TOK skill that's best for her in this team composition would be toxin nova, fire nova, and weakness. Weakness aura is to pump the crit rate of all the team including Hippolyta, Alex and Empress Wu. 

The last immortal cyrus that is the most vital in reducing troop loss! His Static Armor skill will be the key to stunning Death Stinger and preventing it from moving, having a 35% to stun the target when it receives critical damage. He compliments really well with AR Hippolyta and double nova Wu. The TOK skills that I use on him are all support related, being sacrifice, rage blessing and war blessing, all to further buff the team. 

Now if u follow this guide step by step, you should be able to get result along this line:

69 deaths and 103 seriously wounded, it's as good as losing no troops haha. 

Notice how important absolute defense is, blocking 4million damage. You can also notice Alex is the highest dealing immortal despite only using lvl4 combo xD.

Only 3 normal attacks landed, that's how you know absolute defense, hippolyta and cyrus did their job.

Conclusion

Tldr; fire dragon, hippo (ar,ad,berserk), alex (combo,coercion,anger), empress wu (weakness, double nova), cyrus (warbless, ragebless, sacrifice) for Death Stinger. I fine-tuned this setup so you don't have to, now go clap those death stinger for your water dragon ^^
