Cosmo is the source of a Saint’s power. Socketing Cosmo greatly increases its attributes. Today I'll talk about different Cosmo, how to obtain them and various tips and tricks.
What is Cosmo
Cosmo unlocks upon reaching level 21. There are four types of Cosmo: Solar, Lunar, Star and Legendary.
Solar Cosmo are red, and they mainly increase a Saint’s offensive attributes.
Lunar Cosmo are yellow, and they mainly increase a Saint’s defensive attributes.
Star Cosmo are blue, and they mainly increase a Saint’s SPD, Inflict Status Chance, and Skill Res.
Legendary Cosmo grants basic attributes and special battle effects.
Cosmo have main attributes as well as random bonus attributes. These bonus attributes can be randomized by Enchanting, whereas the main attributes cannot be changed.
Using Cosmo
There are three types of basic Cosmo slots and one special Cosmo slot. Solar Cosmo fits in the red slots; Lunar in the yellow slots; Star in the blue slots, and Legendary in the special slot. Socketing three Cosmo of the same type activates its set bonus attributes. The number "+1" beneath a Cosmo represents its level, which can be increased via Intensifying it. The “A” at the top represents its quality. This cannot be changed after obtaining it, and the highest quality is SS. Every Saint has to be equipped with its own Cosmo. This can be done via Lobby - Growth - Your Saint - Cosmo (Cosmo unlocks at account level 21).

(Using Cosmo)
All Cosmo you acquire will be placed in your Cosmo inventory. Excess Cosmo can be used as material when intensifying Cosmo, or salvaged for Gold.

Cosmo Attribute Types
There are four types of Cosmo: Solar, Lunar, Star and Legendary. Every type comes with different attributes. Damage in Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac (Tencent) is divided up into Physical damage, Cosmic damage, and True damage. Defenses are divided up into Physical defense and Cosmic defense.

Legendary Cosmo come with different special effects which are active in battle. These effects are generally classified into Offense, Defense and Support (healing, crowd control, etc.). Special Cosmo are best equipped depending on your Saint’s skills, your lineup and their role in it. Damage-type Saints should generally be equipped with attack-type ones, whereas crowd control and healer-type Saints usually fare better with support Cosmo. For example, the special effect of Silver Dragon pairs very well with Shaka’s combo attacks.
