Angel Awakening is decreasing Angel BR (and GA effectiveness)

With the usual caveat that I don't actually play my primary account on a GTA server, I still wanted to bring up the fact that on two separate occasions (first with Phaethon and now with Aether) I have purchased the awakening stones that were newly available in Angel's Party and suffered a BR drop after raising the awakening level of each angel.

It's not the kind of thing where I made video, since the first time it happened I was unprepared for it to happen, and after the first time it happened I sort of figured it was a fluke.

I document all my BR numbers to keep track of things like which GA to apply where, but it was also clear from the screen animations showing BR change that numbers actually went down. Normally I'd be the one here explaining the display issues connected with integer overflow problems. But when the bottom line number goes down, it's clear that it's because the intermediate numbers went down.

I have no idea what will come of me posting this, but I decided I should anyway, on the off-chance it will be checked. I doubt this is something that is happening that's particular to my platform.
