What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The second week of the Illusion Battlefield League tournament has concluded, with several notable matchups taking place as the competition continued to narrow. While many of the favorites continued to advance, a handful of battles stood out due to their close scorelines, strategic play, or implications for the playoff picture. Most of the best teams last season opted not to play and others were matched with newer and more inexperienced alliances. Some of the most noteworthy battles from the week were the following:

Server 16’s NG+ defeated Server 414’s BTE.
Server 73’s ARC defeated Server 373’s DTF.
Server 115’s DH narrowly defeated Server 454’s BSD.
Server 344’s HOT beat Server 421’s TOL.
Server 432’s HVN kept the ball rolling and defeated Server 395’s WWB.

💠Squad Survival Tournament

This month’s Squad Survival Tournament concluded with the highest scores the event has seen to date, but the gameplay has continued to move away from its original survival-focused concept. Rather than competing to outlast and eliminate rival teams, many participants instead coordinated to repeatedly exchange Honor Points, allowing everyone involved to inflate their scores and remain near the top of the rankings. Team Toes, made up of players from Server 38, finished first with an impressive 45 million points, followed by SlashSoOP, also from Server 38, with 32 million points, while Hawk Tuah, composed of players from Servers 56 and 209, claimed third with 38 million points. The current scoring system rewards point farming far more than actual PvP success, resulting in increasingly inflated totals each month. With little incentive to continue playing after securing a strong score and few meaningful rewards for repeated participation, many players only register once before calling it a day, leaving the tournament feeling more like a coordinated point-sharing event than a competitive survival mode.

💠Showdown with the Alliance King Season 2

Showdown with the Alliance King was a special GTArcade event where players used Cheer Tickets to support their alliance leader and earn both alliance-wide and personal rewards. Tickets were earned through daily logins, Gem spending milestones, and recharge tasks, with each cheer contributing to alliance rankings while also granting personal points. Alliance milestone rewards included Superior Resource Optional Chests and Theia's Roulette Tickets, while personal points could be exchanged for 30-day avatar frames and territory skins in the Points Store. The event also featured several GTArcade-exclusive bundles, including Eye of Chaos, Divine Coin, Vision of Zuma, and raffle ticket packs. Server 56's HMB emerged as the winner of the inaugural season, and Season 2 is expected to begin in July with a new set of exclusive skins and rewards.

💠Summary

IBL’s second week had a few notable matchups, though many top teams sat out or faced weaker opponents. Squad Survival hit record scores but felt more like coordinated Honor Point farming than real PvP. Showdown with the Alliance King Season 2 is expected in July after HMB won the first season.
