Super heros inherit bug or glitch

When I upgrade an evolved super hero I can only choose another super hero to inherit and all stats except for element and rune zeroed out. If you evolve your super (white) first, you can inherit any regular (yellow) for a white no problems. Does anyone else have this issue, works fine as long as you trade an evolved white for a yellow and glitch white to white?
