I will start off by saying I had no intentions in participating in Glorious Battle. For the first 4 days of GB my life was rather busy and I barely had time to even play GOT. What got me interested in GB was the fact I noticed in our Glorious Battle chat a player or two or three or maybe even 4 or more were calling our Supreme Leader USELESS and several were arguing over the use and misuse of horns. So I thought to myself this was a good opportunity to "Enjoy" some good conversations. haha

Here is where things started to get interesting. Unknown to me I was that USELESS Supreme Leader. No idea how or why I was the Supreme Leader but I did however start taking that roll seriously. My first action was to remove ALL members from the management team only leaving myself and 2 others in my alliance with the authority to take any actions with horns etc.

A few were discussing that we had a good chance to take 2nd. What I did was listen and learn. After I had a decent understanding of the event I then proceeded with a plan of action. One of the first things I did was look at the "Battle Info" during battles. What I saw was whales slaughtering many until another beat that whale. Then That whale slaughtered many. After watching several battles I came to the conclusion the faction that WAS dominating the event had the 2 strongest whales in it. I also realized we had more whales than they did, so that became an advantage to us.

A few in our faction wanted to go to war non stop against the dominating alliance they keep losing to, but whereas I was in control of the horns that did not happen. I became the "Supreme Leader" I was meant to be. I calculated the amount of incoming horns we had and used them wisely. We had previously lost our Glorious Gate leaving us no access to Glorious City. I know several were not happy That I was using our horns to get as many Depots as I could for our faction. I think some understood this strategy.

When it came time to launch our attack to regain our Glorious Gate we were prepared. In went our Whales followed by endless T1 marches. We took back our Glorious Gate and this created a different outlook for us. We no longer were aiming for 2nd place, we were wanting to go to #1. Instead of declaring war on the Military building (we already had 1) I decided to hold off on that. We managed to defend our Glorious gate against the once dominate faction as I used our horns to gain 3 more Depots giving us a total of 8 Depots. This gave our fighters as many buffs as possible.

Nearing the end of GB several in our faction started to speak I explained my ideas about horns and time management. We came to a agreement where we would declare war on another Military building and on Glorious city at the same time. We did this to time it so we we failed to take Glorious City we would have enough time to declare again before the event was over, but this also would give the former dominating Faction a chance to take it back from us if we succeeded. I even reinstated a couple players authority because one person can not manage everything and one of the ones I reinstated was the one bad mouthing me the most. Oddly enough I viewed that player as on who spoke with a interest in winning. (I am use to bad language, it is my first language)

As our main forces battled for Glorious City several battled for the Military building. The military building was a easy victory due to the fact the other faction was trying to hold onto Glorious City as we assumed they would. We also ended up winning the battle for Glorious City, it was a tough battle but victory was ours. The former dominate faction then declared war on Glorious City. One thing for sure we were all ready for that battle. It actually surprised me as to how many in our faction participated in our final battle. We ended up defending Glorious City with approx. 30 minutes left in GB.

After all these years this was my first ever Glorious battle and we were in the Top division with the best rewards.

Our faction was hoping for second due to our "USELESS" Supreme Leader (I was being called other things too but I have to keep it clean here), but once I our Supreme Leader woke up we went on to victory. Those who were bad mouthing me (I understand why) became my teachers, mentors and good people to discuss my plans with. A few of them even said thanks and congratulations in leading us to Victory.

I may not completely understand why I was our Supreme Leader (I did not know for 4 days) but the end results of our Glorious Battle shows why the developers made me Supreme Leader of our Faction.

Excellent event, decent rewards, but I do have 2 suggestions.

  1. Try to make it a more balanced event for all can actually battle and not just send out 10k T1s so they can enjoy the battles..
  2. If you are going to make someone like myself the "Supreme Leader" who's alliance was not the seed alliance and did not request to be a seed alliance just send out a mail stating I (or anyone else) was made the "Supreme Leader". Reason being I still had a little left over baggage in life to get over and when I saw a chat group (Manage) created in my name and players I did not know invited into that chat group under my name I got a wee bit upset. I was a "little" edgy for a bit in life with lots to lose.

FYI most of my baggage in life is unpacked. My former Step daughter FAILED to get any of my assets or money she attempted to get, but my lawyer got a little bit. That is why I was busy for the first 4 days of Glorious battle. One real life Battle over and many GOT battles to come.

I will end this with, Sorry for being a "Ass Hole" (give me a break on that language)
