What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The final week of the IBL Point Phase draws to a close, and teams are locked into their spots. Alliance leaders will be able to select 30 players for the main roster and 5 subs this weekend before battling in the playoffs next weekend. Each bracket has at least one team that stands out and can compete for one of the two spots in the Top 16 Duels.

ARC and AoW will likely make it out of Group 1.
BUNS and AOSK will likely make it out of Group 2.
WV and CN will likely take the two spots in Group 3.
Ascendants of Asgard will likely take the Gold spot, and the Silver spot will be a toss-up in Group 4.
IMPK will likely take the Gold seat in Group 5. Silver will be up for grabs.
AWO0 and 139’s alliance should make it out of Group 6.
FAM and SSQ will likely make it out of Group 7.
NG+ and CUBS will likely take the last two seats out of Group 8.

💠Knife Through Butter

IK’s latest legendary skill, Knife Through Butter, is available for the first time in the Wisdom Well. The skill deals 200% physical damage to all enemies and has a 60% chance to reduce the energy of all enemies by 300 at max level. While the damage rate isn’t very high, the important and most significant part of the skill is highly valued against teams that use Energy Mastery, Corrosive Power, and Infinite Firepower. Alexander and Barca seem to be the best users of the skill as they utilize attack speed and Wind Rage most effectively, and will get the six normal attacks off the fastest. In the following report and battle replay, it forced the enemy’s Himiko to delay her ultimate by about seven to eight seconds. Despite it only dealing 23% of the total damage dealt by Alexander, Himiko was able to get her ultimate off much quicker and essentially annihilated the enemy team. I believe we will see more players field Alexander as a secondary damage dealer in tandem with a primary backline immortal.

💠Summer Party!

Summer Party is a GT Arcade event that is accessible in the game between August 4 and August 10. There are a couple of layers to this event. Firstly, players can share their invitation codes with returning players who have not logged in before July 4, 2025, and whose castle is over level 15. Returning players will get Light and Shadow Chests, Philosopher’s Stones, Superior Resource Chests, and Building Speedups. Inviters will receive rewards if one, five, or ten players return. They can get Philosopher’s Stones, Stardust, Random Immortal Fragments, Dragon Crystal Selection Chests, and Light and Shadow Selection Chests. All players can like upcoming news, and once it reaches a certain number of likes, all players will receive Theia’s Roulette Tickets as rewards. Additionally, players can claim 200 Gems and an exclusive Typhoon Avatar Frame just by clicking through their Mid-year Review. Furthermore, players can complete in-game tasks for even more rewards like resource chests and AP Potions.

💠Summary

The IBL Point Phase ended and playoffs will begin next week. Knife Through Butter is available to pull from the Wisdom Well and it looks effective. Players can partake in the Summer Party! event for a week for rewards.
