💠Illusion Battlefield League
With Conquest Servers back in the mix in the eighth week of the tournament, and some of the top teams fighting against each other, the bottom half of the top eight in the rankings underwent some changes. Last weekend, some of these battles impacted the standings.
- Server 344’s AWO0 defeated Server M018’s IC to inch closer to cracking the top eight. They are currently standing in ninth place.
- Server 231’s CN beat Server 115’s DH to enter the top eight.
- Server 73’s ARC defeated Server 275’s SA to kick them out.
While most alliances from Conquest Servers returned after a week off, some of the top contenders skipped many weeks already, so we are unlikely to see several of them in the top eight despite how much stronger they are compared to a lot of the younger and more inexperienced alliances.
- Server 73’s ARC leapt into first and overtook both of their sister teams after BUNS and CUBS skipped the week to focus on KvK. They are currently 6-0.
- Server 73’s BUNS dropped to second with a 6-0 record.
- Server 73’s CUBS dropped to third with a 6-0 record.
- Server 345’s LC retained fourth after beating their opponents and are now 7-1 and have no more matches left to play.
- Server 231’s CN stole fifth with a 5-0 record.
- Server 13’s TYT dropped to sixth from fifth with a 5-0 record.
- Server M018’s HT made the ladder after winning their match. They are currently 6-1 with one game left.
- Server M016’s ICE dropped to eighth after losing their match. They are currently 5-1.
Most teams are approaching their eight-game quota, and some of the notable matches this week include the following:
- Server 13’s TYT will look to break Server 73’s BUNS’ winning streak at 14:00 UTC.
- Server 73’s ARC and CUBS will play each other at 20:00 UTC.
- Server 56’s HMB will look to beat Server M016’s ICE at 20:00 UTC.
- Server 136’s AOSK will battle Server 231’s CN to determine which team is superior at 14:00 UTC.

💠Legion of Frostborne
The Zone 1 gates into the neutral zones between the four factions opened this week. Most brackets with adversaries who chose factions next to each other will see their first battles in the neutral zone. That often sets the tone, if not decides, the bracket.
- In Region 306, Servers 105, 136, and 308 control both neutral zones adjacent to Terra. Servers 14 and 209 in Ember control the southern adjacent zone. Servers 22 and 302 in Zephyr and Server 145 in Hydro are sharing the neutral zone between them. It looks unlikely that any faction will be able to contest Terra for Midgard.
- In Region 308, Servers 38 and 139 from Ember control both adjacent zones. Servers 45 and 183 from Terra, Servers 57 and 170 from Hydro, and Server M014 from Zephyr are sharing the remaining two neutral zones. 38 looks poised to walk away with another win, at least before Zone 2 opens.
- In Region 312, Servers 115, 231, and 275 control both regions next to Ember. Servers M005, 16, 73, and 275 from Hydro took the neutral zone north of their faction. Server 243 from Zephyr took control of the neutral zone to the right of them. Since neither team can access the other’s Zone 1s until Zone 2 opens, it will be peaceful for another several days.
💠KvK Quests
The first round of KvK-based tasks and missions started this week, just before the Zone 1 gates became available to take. There are two sets of different tasks to complete for rewards. The first set requires individual completion, while the second can be completed by everyone in the alliance. The Momentum Gathered event focuses on gathering resources, killing gnomes, defeating gnome bosses, and earning honor individually. In total, you can get 30 one-hour KvK buffs, various speedups, and a ton of resources. You’d have to reach a total of one million honor, defeat 21 bosses, kill 210 gnomes, and gather 600,000,000 resources to be eligible for all the rewards. Work Together focuses more on alliance-play. Players in the alliance can gather resources, defeat bosses, kill gnomes, build and dismantle Thermal Towers, occupy cities, and attack other players to earn reputation for the alliance. Players in the alliance will get Gems, Healing Speedups, and Training Speedups for every one million reputation reached. They will also unlock buffs that grant 5% gathering speed, 5% training speed, 5% healing speed, 5% marching speed, and 5% reputation gain. It’s rather effortless if everyone contributes.

💠Summary
The top half of the top eight IBL rankings shifted among themselves, while the bottom half changed with some new faces. Zone 1 gates in Legion of Frostborne opened this week, and we caught a glimpse of which servers and alliances are likely to win. Different KvK tasks and missions were also made available this week.
