1. Introduction – Chaos, Now More Expensive Than Ever

Chaos Immortals sit at the top of Infinity Kingdom’s meta.

They dominate PvP, offer unmatched versatility, and carry no elemental weaknesses. Before the introduction of Chaos, the elemental hierarchy in Infinity Kingdom was relatively fixed. Holy consistently dominated Shadow, while Shadow had the upper hand over Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Earth. This dynamic shaped much of the competitive gameplay, with Holy and Shadow teams dominating the battlefield.

However, the arrival of Chaos Immortals has disrupted this elemental balance. Unlike other elements, Chaos doesn't have any direct counters, making it highly versatile and dangerous in the right hands. Players must now rethink their strategies, particularly when building teams around or against Chaos Immortals.

But there’s a catch — and it’s called Chaos Roulette.

With version 2.8.3, the event returned once again. And while the interface feels improved and the wheel seems more “customizable,” the truth is: this is the most expensive version yet.

There’s no entry for free-to-play players.

No opportunity to grind.

Only a gate — and it’s made of bundles, and dollars.

Let’s walk through what changed, what stayed the same, and whether it’s worth your spin.

2. Revisiting the Roulette – How the Event Has Evolved

To understand where we are, we need to track how far we’ve come.

The Chaos Roulette has had three distinct iterations since its launch. Each brought more customization — and higher cost.

Version 1 – The Original Wheel

  • 25 Eyes of Chaos per spin
  • Fixed rewards: 6 immortal fragments + 4 artifact shards
  • Immortal pool rotated randomly
  • Needed 10 Gems to refresh target

Version 2 – Choose Your Immortal

  • Directly select your immortal
  • No more gem refreshes
  • RNG-based drops; pool items not removed after hitting
  • Fragment and shard amounts varied

Version 3 – Artifact or Immortal Focus (Now)

  • Players now choose their reward focus
  • Each wheel has 12 slots, including:
  • 1x 6 Immortal Fragments
  • 1x 4 Artifact Fragments
  • 2x Chaos Artifact Schematic Chests
  • 2x Fate of Chaos Selection Chests (Athena, Loki, Poseidon, Wukong)
  • 1x Philosopher’s Offer
  • 5x resource slots

3. The Pull Experience – What You Actually Get

From 2,500 Pulls (fictions'Data)

Fiction, a fellow Press Officer, ran an extensive test over 2,500 Chaos Roulette spins and reported the following:

  • 775 Immortal Fragments (~155 per 500 pulls)
  • 260 Artifact Fragments
  • 200 Chaos Artifact Selection Chests
  • 305 Philosopher’s Offers

This aligns with a consistent trend: roughly $420 for 500 pulls, or $2.71 per fragment, assuming you buy only the first 3 bundles daily.

From 500 Pulls (My Experience)

I also participated in the event, logging exactly 500 pulls during the latest iteration.

Here’s what I personally obtained:

  • 147 Immortal Fragments
  • 51 Artifact Fragments
  • 38 Chaos Artifact Selection Chests
  • 57 Philosopher’s Offers

+80 Fate of Chaos Selection Chests (from event bonus bar)

It confirmed the same impression:

  • Lower yields than older versions
  • Still highly RNG-dependent

4. Value Breakdown – Who Wins, Who Wastes

This version of Chaos Roulette caters to a specific audience — and shuts out the rest.

Who Benefits?

  • Top spenders looking to max out Chaos Immortals, or improve their artifacts.
  • Chaos-first players who already own several unlocked immortals and artifacts.

Who Should Avoid It?

  • Free-to-play players: No participation
  • Mid-tier spenders: High cost, low progression

The event presents more options — but hides them behind an even steeper wall.

5. Mael’s Opinion – A Step Forward or a Missed Opportunity?

This rework looks polished.

The ability to choose your reward focus feels like progress.

But what matters isn’t just how you spin — it’s what you get for it.

And that’s where Chaos Roulette v3 falls short.

The cost per fragment has gone up.

The guaranteed value per 500 pulls is lower than older versions.

The specialization grind remains untouched — making the full Chaos build more time-consuming than ever.

This was a chance to innovate. Maybe offer a free spin.

Instead, the wheel just got shinier — not smarter.

6. Conclusion – Spin Carefully, or Not at All

Chaos Immortals still rule.

But their gatekeeper — Chaos Roulette — just became harder to justify.

For those willing to spend heavily and play the long game, the event still offers progress.

But for everyone else, it’s a flashy reminder that not all power is accessible.

Until a true evolution comes — one that considers all player types — this remains a wheel worth skipping more often than spinning.
