💠Overview

The Legion of Frostborne Expedition Battle Pass is one of the passes that will be added to the game. The event will be available in Conquest Seasons and at the start of every Legion of Frostborne season. The pass will cost $49.99, in line with the Peak Battle Pass and the monthly event Battle Passes.

💠Tasks

Similar to the other recent additions, there are 30 levels to the Battle Pass and every level requires 100 points, starting at level 1. Therefore, you need a total of 3,000 points to complete the pass. Players can get Expedition Battle Pass EXP by completing Personal Legion Achievement tasks. Each task rewards 150 points and there are 26 available tasks per season. To reach 3,000 points, you would need to complete 20 tasks. You are allowed to miss up to six tasks. The Personal Legion Achievement tasks range from gathering resources and earning honor to constructing and dismantling towers. The most difficult tasks I would skip are probably some of the difficult PvP tasks.

💠Rewards

There are two types of medallions players can get. Everyone starts with the Silver Medallion for free. The rewards from the Silver Medallion feature resources, various types of speedups, and Random Immortal Fragments. If you complete all 30 levels, you can get a total of 60 Random Immortal Fragments, 5 60-minute training speedups, 5 60-minute healing speedups, and 150,000 of each type of resource. The Golden Medallion costs $49.99. You’ll unlock access to Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments, Exclusive Artifact Selection Chests, KvK Skill Selection Chests, Gems, and the ability to claim all rewards with one click. If you complete every level, you can obtain 60 artifact chests, 60 Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments, 60 Legion of Frostborne Skill Selection Chests, which contain skills from the Legion Vendor, and 6,000 Gems.

💠Value

Let’s talk about the comparative value of this pass compared to other ways you can get skills. Most of the value lies in the 60 Skill Shard Selection Chests. Since a lot of players already have those skills, the best thing to do for players is to sell those shards in favor of Cinders of Wish, which will allow you to purchase other useful Wisdom of Well skills. To get the same amount of cinders, you would either need to win KvK to get at least 48,000 Cold Silvers to trade in the Legion Vendor for skills to sell, which has its own downside, or spend $140 for the Recharge Gifts bundle, which gives up to 60 skill shards a week. The Battle Pass costs $49.99 and yields 60 chests, which equates to about $0.83 per chest. The Recharge Bundle comes out to be about $2.33 per shard. The Battle Pass is nearly three times cheaper than the bundle.

In my opinion, the Golden Medallion in the Legion Expedition Battle Pass is extremely worth it for spenders. It’s a cheap way to get more Legion of Frostborne skills and Cinders of Wish. Everything else the pass gives is just additional value. The Silver Medallion doesn’t have much value, but since it’s free, players should try to do as many of the achievements as possible.
