Arthur and Morgana, seeking vengeance against Camelot, sought out an ancient mage who taught them the forbidden art of summoning a devastating golem. With their creation unleashed upon the kingdom, they watched in satisfaction, knowing their revenge had begun from the shadows.

🔷 Part 21: “Ashes of the Fallen King”

The night air crackled with anticipation as the four warriors emerged from the shadows, firelight flickering in their determined eyes. Arthur and Morgana turned sharply at their approach, their gazes hardening as they realized the threat before them.

"You should have stayed in Camelot," Morgana sneered, lifting a hand. Darkness swirled at her fingertips, shifting like living shadows. "Now, you’ve sealed your fate."

Arthur raised his hands, the wind surging around him like a raging tempest. "You won’t leave here alive."

Wukong grinned, slamming his staff against the ground. Flames ignited at its tip. "Bold words for a dead man."

Without hesitation, Arthur unleashed a powerful gust of wind, aiming to send the fire warriors flying. But Wu countered, summoning a fiery shield that held firm against the raging storm. The moment the wind lessened, Wukong dashed forward, his staff engulfed in flames as he struck at Arthur. The king barely dodged in time, twisting the air around him to propel himself backward.

Hippolyta charged Morgana, her sword burning like a star. She swung with deadly precision, but Morgana’s chaos magic warped the space around her, causing the blade to miss by mere inches. With a flick of her wrist, Morgana sent tendrils of dark energy lashing out, forcing Hippolyta to backpedal, dodging the deadly strands.

Seondeok unleashed a wave of fire toward Arthur, but he countered with a spiraling vortex of wind, extinguishing the flames before they could reach him. The battlefield erupted into a clash of elements—fire against wind, chaos against order.

Wu planted her staff into the ground, her magic flaring as a massive pillar of fire erupted around her. "Enough games!" She hurled a barrage of fireballs at Morgana, forcing her to weave through the onslaught. But the moment she dodged left, Wukong was there, striking with his burning staff. The impact sent her reeling, her cloak catching fire.

Arthur roared, summoning a whirlwind that sent debris flying. He rode the storm, launching razor-sharp blades of wind at his foes. Hippolyta deflected them with her sword, the flames licking at the wind’s force, nullifying its power. Seondeok channeled her fire into her fists, using her sheer strength to push through the storm, inching closer to Arthur.

Seeing the battle slipping from their grasp, Morgana unleashed a surge of chaos magic, distorting reality itself. Shadows twisted into monstrous forms, clawing at the fire warriors. But Wu, ever the strategist, called upon his flames to purify the darkness, his magic burning through Morgana’s illusions.

Wukong took the opportunity, leaping through the blaze with a mischievous grin. "You’re wide open!" He swung his staff with all his might, the fire exploding on impact. Morgana screamed as the flames engulfed her, her body writhing before turning to ash.

Arthur’s fury knew no bounds. He roared, calling upon a storm like no other. The winds howled, the air thick with his power. But the fire warriors stood their ground, their flames unwavering. Wu, Hippolyta, Seondeok, and Wukong combined their strength, forging a pillar of fire that pierced through the storm.

Arthur’s eyes widened as the inferno consumed him. He let out one final, defiant cry before his body turned to embers, his legacy reduced to nothing but ashes on the wind.

The battlefield fell silent.

The four warriors stood amidst the ruins, their flames slowly dimming. The night, once filled with chaos, now lay in eerie stillness.

Hippolyta exhaled, sheathing her sword. "It’s over."

Seondeok nodded. "Camelot is safe."

Wu looked to the sky, watching the ashes of their foes scatter into the wind. "For now."

Wukong chuckled, resting his staff on his shoulder. "That was fun. What’s next?"

The fire warriors exchanged glances before turning toward the path home, the weight of victory resting upon their shoulders. The battle was won, but their legend was only beginning.
