Yes yes yes GoT is a brutal game. The need to find a good alliance is a first step but.... Then game mechanics comes in. Now lemme explain two terms in game industry that can very well change you're life. CRUNCH and FLUFF. The crunch is the mystery game dev use to calibrate how much damage and how much life you lose, critical chances and so on. It is the domain of genius or well those who copied a similar system with well informed tips or websites. Or a math science Granny teacher. Anyways the fluff is the story of characters, the settings, the images of nice ladies and muscular men and so on. GoT is a game of strategy so needless to say, CRUNCH IS PREVALENT. So how do you make that system work for you are you asking to cheat or get and edge? Well taking time to analyse every calculation and what goes into synergy with what while a team of guys did the hard work is feasible but for some a task that could lead to making you wanna blow you're brains out so in short, there is a shorter route and its what comes first in making sure you advance faster and stronger. I should be paid for saying this and laying it out on the line but well im an angel and im also too hot too consider such irrelevant details. First develop building and technology to boost you're rate of production and how much you produce. Building fast units is also key to being able to farm fast and efficiently but on the long run, rate of production is PREVALENT before anything else. This is where you spend you're time on making fast growth for the rate of how fast you save time on production is harder than the different ways of production and harvesting. In weirwood trials you get the chance to recruit commanders. Recruiting many commanders, not really necessary to upgrade all of them ( only the ones who are the strongest wich is a subject i will cover later) but having commanders at you're disposal makes you able to send 4 teams to harvest iron, stone, wood and wheat and sometimes gold wich is really the easiest one to grow. Upgrading buildings along the way is good but make sure the building you level up follow the same level and make sure you follow the steps only in having techs that will boost production and reduce time. Keep you're accelerators up for later on and technology scrolls when time is sometimes weeks of developing buildings and such. As you're different level overall grows, you will be able to make the rest of the buildings evolve with enough ressources and having troops to farm will also give a nice boost if you ever need to attack doing dailies or opponents of you're alliance. This basic step is the core and rotation of everything else. Good luck and may you enjoy the game a bit more without too much hassle at the start my friends.
