💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new recent events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happening, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

Summary

💠Illusion Battlefield

Another week, another set of regular Illusion Battlefield matches. This past week, there were several exciting matches pitting promising teams against each other.

Server 38 handed Server 170’s SF a second loss in as many weeks via SSQ. SSQ and AoW merged for KvK.
Server 38’s VEX defeated Server 66’s GSI.
Server 105’s AWGM beat their KvK allies, Server 56’s HMB handedly. AWGM is AWG’s alliance for KvK.
Server 73’s PRD dismantled Server 193’s F8 which is essentially KoS.
Server 136’s AOSK defeated Server 139’s RIT.
Server 170’s IMPK crushed Server 205’s GoN as GoN didn’t have enough firepower to deal with IMPK’s powerhouses.
Server 183’s RxH came out ahead in the civil war against DA.
Server 261’s wargate defeated Server 264’s OP.

There is no IB this week so tune in next week for more matches.

💠Legion of Frostborne

Zone 1 gates into neutral zones between factions opened this week which means servers that are enemies have already started fighting.

In Region 229, Servers 136 and 193 are allied to take on Server 139. There has not been much action as each server has mostly avoided each other and taken a neutral zone for themselves.
In Region 230, Servers 205 and 231 allied against Server 143. The same story is true here where every faction controls a neutral zone.
In Region 231, Servers M002, M004, 38, 66, 73, 82, 90, and 159 agreed on a peaceful season where they will share cities and rewards within the federations and factions.
There are not any notable servers in Regions 232 to 237.
In Region 238, Servers 56, 105, and 209 banded together to battle Servers 170 and 183. Server 105 received some players from Servers 38 and 73 to help with the KvK and Server 170, in response, has decided they will not contest for the win despite having just as many high-tier players. It is worth noting that 170’s IMPK and SF merged into one alliance.
Regions 238 to 244 do not contain notable servers.

With Zone 2 gates less than three days from opening, every server in every warring region seems to be geared to have enough faction points to flood the gates. Zone 2 will certainly make or break the season for many servers.

💠Patch 2.7.5 News

Patch 2.7.5 is slated to hit Norheim on November 21. Unfortunately, the patch does not carry the Castle level 60 updates. However, the patch will implement new features such as new Well of Time campaigns, a new Legendary Immortal, Star of Popularity, and the Immortal Expertise System. The system is a skill network similar to Dragon Talents where players can select specializations and unlock special attributes and unique skills. Players can boost these specializations by using Master’s Marks which are obtainable through the new Elite Campaigns. The feature will be available in servers Season 2 and higher. The new Legendary Immortal is likely to be one of Apollo or the Nine-Tailed Fox, both of whom are backline immortals.

💠Summary

Last week in IB, SSQ defeated SF, VEX defeated GSI, AWG triumphed over HMB, PRD beat F8, AOSK defeated RIT, and IMPK beat GoN. Catch these games on the IB section of the Daily Talks. KvK is currently underway with Zone 2 gates opening in less than three days. All the notable servers have secured enough cities in their respective regions and factions to attack the gates. It has been several seasons where we have seen this little action in Zone 1. Hopefully, Zone 2 will be more lively. Patch 2.7.5 is coming on November 21 and it includes a slew of new features. The most notable is the new Immortal Expertise that should keep players busy and give the new Elite Campaigns a higher priority as they carry Master’s Marks which will be needed to upgrade the expertise tree. In other news, the Official Infinity Kingdom Discord has been insanely active with Halloween events. There was a pumpkin carving contest, Halloween quizzes, and numerous pop-up events. Join the ever-growing community and look forward to Thanksgiving where there are bound to be new community events as well. It’s a great way to earn in-game items.
