Introduction

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my series breaking down the many immortals in the game. Today, we will tackle Seondeok, a favourite among players, and the main damage dealer on fire teams.

Seondeok was the Queen of Silla, when Korea was still divided into the Three Kingdoms of Korea. She was crucial in the eventual unification of the three kingdoms and one of the most remarkable rulers in Korean history. A famous figure in Korean history, she has been featured in at least 6 Korean TV series / movies thus far. A brief summary of her character history is in the game itself.

Seondeok is a ranged immortal, one of the newer releases for the fire element. She is capable of doing massive amounts of burst damage, devastating the entire enemy team. In this Immortal Insights guide, we shall explore the different factors that allow players to maximise the power of Seondeok.

Obtaining the Immortal

Seondeok can be obtained from a variety of ways, both for free and by purchasing. She can be summoned from the Hall of Immortals, or obtained with gems from Lucky Spin. She can also be purchased from either Golden Path or the Immortal Glory packs in the shop.

Ultimate Skill breakdown

Seondeok’s ultimate skill, Might of the Phoenix, is a perfect fit for teams with high critical rate (crit), such as all Fire teams. By using skills such as Corrosive Power or Energy Burst, Seondeok is able to keep activating her ultimate, doing damage whenever an allied immortal crits.

By pairing her with Empress Wu or Hippolyta, and maximising the chance and amount of crits, Seondeok is able to do a huge amount of burst damage in a short amount of time. Rage is a great skill to use on such immortals, increasing the chance they crit. By pairing that with other skills such as Death Breath and Spell Disintegrator, which activate very frequently, they will be able to crit very often. These crits will activate Seondeok’s ultimate skill every time, maximising the amount of damage she is able to do.

Recommended immortal pairings for Seondeok include Empress Wu and Hippolyta.

Exclusive Artifact

Seondeok’s exclusive artifact (EA), Endless Artwork, increases the duration of her ultimate skill from 6 to 9 seconds. This causes her ultimate to always be active, allowing it to do damage whenever any immortal on the team does critical damage.

Exclusive Artifact - How to Obtain

Previously, Seondeok’s exclusive artifact was available through The Golden Path, and could be obtained by completing level 50, and by purchasing Medallion+. With the overhaul of The Golden Path, Seondeok’s exclusive artifact is now exclusive to Blessings of Triss event. It is not included inside the artifact selection chests, mysterium, any daily shop components, or even in the Triss Wish Shop. It is strictly obtainable only from wishing inside Blessings of Triss, making it both difficult and expensive for players to obtain and upgrade her artifact.

Recommended Skill Builds

Seondeok can equip a vast number of skills, all of which have their own pros and cons. Corrosive Power is the best skill for Seondeok, but it is one of the few skills that cannot be purchased in Triss Wish Shop, and can only be obtained from wishing inside Blessings of Triss. Other than Corrosive Power, most of the other skills above can be used interchangeably, depending on what skills you have access to, and what skills are required on other immortals.

While different people have their own opinions on what skills are best on Seondeok, I think that the above set of skills are the best for her. Corrosive Power and Energy Burst will keep regenerating energy, allowing her to activate her ultimate skill over and over again. In addition, Unyielding further increases her crit rate, and provides some sustain, allowing her to stay alive for longer.

These are some examples of other sets of skills that can be equipped on Seondeok. Rage is able to increase her crit rate, Fighting Master makes her immune to control effects, Anger and Onslaught are able to increase her physical damage, and Flame Protection drastically increases the amount of critical damage she does.

Epilogue

One of the newest Fire immortals, she has quickly become a must have for everyone building Fire teams. With her high burst damage, she fits perfectly into all Fire teams as the main damage dealer, vaporising entire teams once her ultimate skill activates. Although her artifact is difficult to obtain, with it she is even more unstoppable. Hopefully with this guide, you have a better understanding of the Seondeok works, and the recommended skills that will allow her to reach her maximum damage potential.
