Greetings, fellow adventurers! It's Mael back again, and today we're diving into the scorching world of Fire Immortals in Infinity Kingdom. Fire is the go-to element for many players, especially Free-to-Play enthusiasts, but don't underestimate its power! Despite its popularity, Fire brings both strength and untapped potential to the battlefield. Join me as we explore and rank the top Fire Immortals, igniting excitement and discovery along the way!

Unveiling the Appeal of Fire Tactics in Infinity Kingdom

Fire-based strategies have garnered immense popularity in Infinity Kingdom, and the reasons behind this trend are fascinating. They offer a dynamic blend of offense and defense, enabling players to unleash devastating attacks while maintaining a sturdy defense. However, not all fire strategies are equal; some shine brighter than others. Here's why Fire holds such allure:

  1. Accessibility for AllFire strategies are accessible to all players, ensuring inclusivity even for those who prefer a Free-to-Play approach.
  2. Empowering Immortal Might:The Fire Dragon amplifies the strength of Fire Immortals, maximizing their potential.
  3. Dragon BreathThe signature move of the Fire Dragon, Dragon Breath, delivers unmatched firepower, guaranteeing significant impact regardless of troop quality.

I've received positive feedbacks recently for my articles with a tier-ranking approach such as Adrenaline Rush: Strategies for Every Budget in Infinity Kingdom! One player from Server 243 highlighted the need for a comprehensive tier-ranking of Fire Immortals. So, let's answer the call and delve into the world of Fire Immortals in Infinity Kingdom. Join me as we explore the top picks, tactics, and synergies to strengthen your march and conquer your foes.

Similar to other elements in Infinity Kingdom, the Fire element boasts a diverse array of Immortals, each with unique skills and abilities. Throughout our exploration, we'll discern the standout choices and the less favored ones, evaluating their skills, synergies within team setups, and considerations for varying budgets. Let's kick things off with an overview of the top Fire Immortals, before delving into crafting the optimal teams for Free-to-Play, Mid Spenders, and High Spenders.

Mael's Ranking of Essential Fire Immortals

Below is my personal ranking for Fire Immortals, categorized as Must-Have, Very Good, Decent, Not Recommended, and Do Not Use. This ranking is based solely on the Immortals' abilities without any considerations for budget. Feel free to share your own rankings in the comments below!

Must-Have:

Hippolyta: Hippolyta is a Fire Attack Immortal who excels at disabling opponents while dealing significant damage. Her ultimate skill fires 5 shots (7 with her Exclusive Artifact), each shot dealing damage, reducing the target's energy by 100, and lowering attack speed by 10% for 6 seconds, with these effects stacking. She shines in every area of the game, particularly against single targets where she is an unrivaled force. Hippolyta is one of the best single-target damage dealers, easy to acquire and build. Her unique abilities make her indispensable for Time Rift Breaker and Gnome bosses. In my opinion, she is a must-have.

Empress Wu: Empress Wu is a top pick for Fire Builds because she delivers massive damage and is one of the best damage dealers in the game. She is easy to acquire through Contention of Relics or Arena rewards in Season 1.

Trajan: Trajan is a Fire Shieldman Defense Immortal who boosts Critical Damage and increases Critical Hit Rate for Fire teammates. His skills and exclusive artifact make him ideal for Fire-focused teams. Trajan is essential for the main Fire team, offering protection and enhancing burst damage early in the game. He isn't versatile and doesn't fit non-Fire teams. This specialization places him in the must-have section. Trajan can be used in Conquest and is easily obtained through events like King of the Hill and the daily pearls shop after unlocking him. For more information on how to build the ultimate Fire team and to compare the skill abilities and mechanics of Trajan versus William, you can read my article : [Review] Decoding Infinity Kingdom: William vs. Trajan's Ultimate Abilities Mechanics.

Very Good:

Seondok: Seondeok can be obtained from the KvK chest or through a special "Immortal Glory" bundle, like other KvK immortals. She becomes available starting from Season 2 onwards, after your first KvK. Her skill, "Might of the Phoenix," is a single-target spell (650% physical damage) that applies a negative status on the target for 6 seconds. When the target is critically hit during this time, an explosion occurs, dealing AoE damage to all enemy immortals (250% physical damage).

These critical attacks can originate from various sources, including physical or magical attacks, ultimate skills, Tower of Knowledge skills, normal attacks, and even from the explosion itself. Seondeok serves as a potent physical backline for both PvE and PvP content. I highly recommend acquiring this immortal if possible.

William: William, a Fire Cavalry Attack Immortal, enhances his team by boosting their critical hit rates. His ultimate skill inflicts damage on two targets ahead while increasing the entire team's critical hit rate by 20% for 6 seconds. Despite his strength, William struggles to match Trajan in the same supportive role due to his vulnerabilities. He primarily appeals to Low Spenders and Free-to-Play gamers, or to those aiming to emphasize critical hit rates by substituting Hippolyta with both Trajan and William in the same march. [Review] Decoding Infinity Kingdom: William vs. Trajan's Ultimate Abilities Mechanics.

Cyrus: Cyrus, a Fire Bowmen Support Immortal, strengthens his team by reducing opponent resilience and stunning them. His ultimate skill decreases the resilience of three random enemies by 15% for 6 seconds. Additionally, if an opponent receives a Critical Hit during this time, there's a 35% chance they'll be stunned for 3 seconds. It's crucial to construct a team that maximizes critical hit rates around him. Nevertheless, he remains a very effective immortal. You can acquire him through various in-game events.

Decent /Not Recommended:

Ashoka: Ashoka falls between the Decent and Not Recommended categories for a valid reason. While he can prove useful in specific situations, particularly in the early game, such as against Spider or Gnome bosses, he lacks effectiveness and strength for PvP or end-game compositions. Despite this, Ashoka is easily accessible and obtainable, being 100% Free-to-Play.

Do not Use:

Frederik: Frederick, a Fire Attack Spearmen Immortal, specializes in dealing damage to the two targets ahead of him while maintaining his own endurance. Ashoka emerges as the ideal partner for Frederick, as they focus their damage on the same target when positioned one behind the other. However, outside of this pairing, Frederick lacks strong synergies. Frederick is not a particularly robust Immortal hence ranked in "do not use". He is typically only viable in the very early stages of the game when other options are limited. His low energy regeneration and sustain mechanics do not align well with the burst-oriented nature of Fire marches.

In summary, while some of these Fire Immortals shine brightly, others are deemed less effective. Yet, achieving their full potential hinges on critical hit rates and the occurrence of critical attacks, underscoring the significance of VIP level for unleashing the true power of the Fire element.

Crafting the Perfect Fire Team: Budget Options from Free-to-Play to High Spenders

In this paragraph, we'll explore optimal Fire team setups tailored to different budget ranges, ranging from Free-to-Play to Mid-Spenders, ensuring every player can find a strategy that suits their resources.

Free-To-Play Mael's Top Choice.

This build is designed for Free-to-Play players, allowing you to run it without spending lot of money on Infinity Kingdom. However, having top artifacts can significantly enhance its effectiveness. For mid-level spenders, this build can elevate your competitiveness to the highest level of play without requiring a fraction of the investment compared to other players.

How well does this Fire Build perform in battles? Players who've tried it report impressive results, holding its own against big spender setups, making it one of the strongest Fire builds in the game and potentially the best Free-to-Play option out there!

N.B. I have received feedback from readers arguing that Cyrus is not Free-to-Play and should not be placed in this ranking. However, Cyrus is obtainable through King of the Hill and the Golden Path, making him Free-to-Play friendly, though it takes time. Low spenders can upgrade him faster. For players who cannot afford Cyrus through ranking well in King of the Hill, an 100% Free-to-Play alternative would be replacing him with Gilgamesh.

Mid-Spenders Mael's Top Choice.

This setup follows a common pattern, focusing on delivering significant burst damage with Wu and Seon. William and Trajan play crucial roles by providing substantial critical hit buffs, maximizing the damage output of your backline attackers.

I believe Trajan is great for any Fire build because he boosts critical hits, which are crucial. Hippolyta's ability to consistently land small critical hits, activating Seon's ultimate ability, is also powerful, and you can use her in this setup instead of William.

Running Hippolyta and Trajan can also be an option and can work well. I've discussed the details here : [Review] Decoding Infinity Kingdom: William vs. Trajan's Ultimate Abilities Mechanics.

Fire High-Spenders?

In my view, there isn't a specific High-Spender Team for Fire, which adds to its appeal and popularity. However, my friend Myrahk has explored the Fire-Shadow concept, which could fit into this ranking. This Shadow-Fire hybrid build offers a fresh perspective in Infinity Kingdom; it's a tactical breakthrough. Emphasizing control effects and strategic use of the Fire Dragon, this build showcases commanders' creativity in seeking top-tier endgame setups. For more details on this intriguing approach, refer to the mentioned article and video.

In summary, Fire Immortals in Infinity Kingdom cater to players of all levels, from those who prefer to play for free to those who invest more. Fire is heavily dependent on critical rate and hits for maximum potential, making reaching at least VIP 13 essential to get the critical rate bonus. While high-spender strategies are less clear-cut, there's endless room for creativity. So, whether you're a seasoned commander or just starting out, dive into the fiery fray and explore the thrilling possibilities that await in Infinity Kingdom!
