Stellar Compass Event

Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about the Stellar Compass Event.

This event comes as a package of events, Wonderful Journey, Redeem Event, Spending Reward, Stellar Compass and Strategic Reserves. It is one of the most free to play friendly events and can give good rewards.

So let's unpack this all should we.

Spending Reward : 

During this event, everytime you buy a package that has gems in it (careful it does NOT include Gem Shop) you will be rewarded by one dice every 400 gems.

You will also be rewarded by one dice every 800 gems you spent during this event. This is a good time to increase your ViP level or buy Frostborne chest to get a lot of dice in addition. Dice carry over and you don’t have to use all your dice during the current set of events, you can save for future events.

Wonderful Journey :

Also called monopoly by some player due to the brain association board game + spending = monopoly. In this event, you use the dice you earn with the Spending Reward event to travel through a board game, getting rewarded at each step you stop on. You gain an extra 100 points every full turn you make.

To get all the 1000 points needed to collect all the chest, you need around 60 to 65 dice. For that reason i wouldn’t start using my dice until i have at least 70 of it in stock, so i am almost certain to hit the 1000 points chest (unless very very bad luck).

Chest includes Crystal Ball and Epic Forge Material. Getting all the chest up to 1000 will give you 100 Crystal Ball.

Strategic Reserves and Redeem Event : 

Another way to get Crystal Ball and some others reward is through the Strategic Reserves and Redeem Event. Everytime you gather resources, collect resources or kill gnomes and gnome bosses, you have a chance to get a Strategic Chest. Opening these chests will give you Ancient Silver, currency that you can use in the Redeem Event.

In the Redeem Event window, you can exchange your Ancient Silver for Crystal Ball, Philosopher Stone, Speedup and Resources pack. I usually recommend seeking to acquire Crystal Balls first, then save up your currency for the next event. If you really have an extra currency, then take Philosopher Stone if you still need Soulstone otherwise Speedup.

Starry Praise : 

The final way to acquire Crystal Balls is to buy a bundle in the Starry Praise.

The ratio is fairly good, especially the gems one that you have with the Redeem Event which is unusual enough to be mentioned.

Stellar Compass : 

Now that we have stock our Crystal Balls, let's see how we can use them. The Stellar Compass event is an Horoscope kind of event, so everytime you use (drop ? 😛) the ball you can get any reward from the one displayed on the screen. There is a pity system in place that gives you more chances to get the Exclusive Artifact Fragment Box every Balls you spend, up to 100% at 100 pts.

There are 5 kinds of Exclusive Artifact Fragment Box, one for each element.

Water : Harald, Attila, Ramses, Merlin, Dido and Yoshitsune

Earth : Charles, Alexander, Leonidas, Zenobia, Cleopatra and Arash

Fire : Frederick, William, Hippolyta, Cyrus, Wu and Ashoka

Lightning : Peter, ElCid, Genghis Khan, Hammurabi, Yi Seong-gye, Richard

Wind : Hannibal, Qin, Saladin, Baldwin, Atalanta and Arthur

Due to this mechanic and the fact that each box gives you 15 shards out of the 60 that are needed to craft an Exclusive Artifact. I wouldn’t use my balls until i’ve got 400 of them (unless you already have some shards in inventory of course), and i am guaranteed that i can have a complete Exclusive Artifact ready to craft. This way i won’t be stuck with some fragments and no way to complete them..

Conclusion :

This is a pretty free to play and low spender friendly event that allows you to get your hands on very valuable Exclusive Artifact. You should try to max out your Crystal Balls gain at each rotation, it is a very good event.
