💠Overview
Every server’s ultimate goal is to win the LoF event every 80 days or so. We give it our all, form diplomacies, and try to outwit our enemies for the Cold Silvers the event rewards. Cold Silvers are coins that you can use to purchase ability stones among other rewards in the LoF shop as well as open LoF chests. Each ability stone costs 800 coins and each chest costs 500 coins to open.
💠Legion’s Vendor and Ancient Remnants
The Legion’s Vendor is the LoF shop where you can trade in Cold Silvers for rewards. The most valuable rewards are the ability stones. The shop houses Snipe, Stormeye, Spell Disintegrator, and Wind Rage skills. Stones cost 800 coins and unlocking a skill will cost a total of 48,000 Cold Silvers. The shop also contains Dragon Essences for 800 coins, Philosopher’s Stones, Territorial Teleports, speedups, frames, chatboxes, and nametags. Players should skip these and only spend Cold Silver for ability stones.

Cold Silvers can also be used to open different Ancient Remnant chests, depending on whether you control a Ymir, a citadel, or neither at the end of the expedition. Different chests give different amounts of skill stones at random. Each chest costs 500 coins or gems to open. It will use your coins before taking your gems so it’s better to spend your coins in the vendor shop before opening these chests. The best chest gives a chance at Full Coverage, Siren’s Gaze, Victorious Pursuit, and Berserker, in addition to the ones from the shop.

💠Getting Cold Silvers
There are a number of ways to earn Cold Silvers.
- Occupying Ymir will yield 1,500 Cold Silvers for the alliance
- Each citadel will yield 1,000 Cold Silvers for the alliance
- Reaching alliance faction power thresholds will yield up to 6,000 Cold Silvers for the alliance
- Occupying Ymir will yield 50% more faction power rewards to the server
- Each citadel will yield 25% more faction power rewards to the server
- Individual players can earn up to 9,000 Cold Silvers for their Legion Mark Ranking which is accumulated through honor, city sieges, and resource donations among other activities in LoF

💠Maximizing and Calculating Cold Silvers
For calculations, let’s assume your server wins LoF which we will consider occupying Ymir as winning. Occupying Ymir means your alliance likely is ranked first for the alliance ranking which will net your alliance 6,000 Cold Silvers. It also means that your alliance has reached the top threshold (11,000) for faction power which will yield an additional 6,000 Cold Silvers. Occupying Ymir will add 1,500 coins and an additional 3,000 Cold Silvers to your faction power rewards. Let’s also assume you don’t farm honor using alts and you’re very middle-of-the-pack in Legion Mark standings. With 2,000 players getting coins, you will fall between 501-1,000 which will net you 1,000 coins. In total, you will get 17,500 Cold Silvers. For every additional citadel, you can get an additional 2,500 coins, 1,000 for occupying the citadel and 1,500 bonus towards the faction reward.

To be able to finish a skill in two LoF events, you will need to obtain 24,000 Cold Silvers per event. Getting that many coins is extremely difficult. Let’s assume your alliance destroys the competition and captures Ymir and all three citadels. That will bring your expected Cold Silvers to 25,000. If you capture Ymir and only two citadels, you will need to bump your Legion Mark standing up from 501-1000 to 11-20 for an additional 1,500 coins to reach 24,000.

💠Summary
Ability Stones are the goal for nearly all players who participate in LoF. For mixed Earth users who are using Alexander or Hannibal, you may want to buy Wind Rage. For players using a mage as their main damage source, you may want to buy Spell Disintegrator. If you can’t unlock a skill or plan to open chests, you can save your Cold Silvers in case new skills get added next season or skills get added to a Daily Recharge bundle that you can purchase instead. Understanding how many Cold Silvers you can get can help manage your expectations and prioritize your goals each LoF.
