The bench

Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about what to do with our fourth march that i call the bench.

While your 3 firsts marches are usually dedicated to pvp, your 4th march is usually a bunch of random immortals that you only use to gather resources. 

But it can be more than this ! 

Since you have to allocate resources into this march eventually to increase your troop load for gathering, you can carefully select immortals that you do not usually use in your pvp lineup, but can fit a specific purpose in game, such as Rift Breaker, Gnomes Bosses, Infernal Furnace etc…

It is also a good place to stock your xp scroll that you should accumulate rebirthing immortal periodically and use them again to run gnomes. 

The formation system will allow you to quickly put Immortal into their right place for the specific content you are facing with proper skill and Artifact. Then put it back to your main arena formation and situational Immortal back to your bench. So carefully set your Team Preset, you only have to do it once, so make it right 🙂

Examples of immortal that could hit the bench if you aren’t using them in your pvp march : 

Hippolyta, with her unique ability to decrease the energy of the target of her ultimate skill and the attack speed, is one of the best immortals in the entire game right now. She is a beast against Gnome Bosses, Spiders, Chaos Beast and Time Rift Breaker.

Yoshitsune, the highest single target backliner damage dealer in the entire game, thrives in any encounter against a single target and can deal an absurd amount of damage.

Theodora, and her ability to dispel continuous damage make her the best immortal to bring with you when you raid gnomes. Removing the Fire balloon debuff, she will lower by a lot your loss.

There are many reasons for which you may use a specific immortal for a very specific task only, and the fourth march is the place for them 🙂

The bench can also be used as a tampon if you are in the process of reshuffling your main pvp marches but are slowed down by the 7 day cooldown to rebirth immortal.

Conclusion : 

With the recent addition of the Rift Breaker game mode, the bench has become even more important than it ever was. And can even overflow from your fourth march with as an example 3 flexible backliner. Free players and low spenders who don't have easy access to healer will appreciate having a Moctezuma on the bench.
