Today, we have brought to you Cancer Manigoldo Training Analysis and Gameplay Guide to show you how to allocate and make use of the new Saint.

Skill Configuration:

1313 is the setup for the support role, allowing Manigoldo to restrict all enemies' healing ability and limit their moves through Praesepe Underworld Waves, as well as increase his survivability with Phosphorus Beads. For Legendary Cosmo, players may equip him with Blood Elf to reduce the enemies' Defense or Hyacinth to lower the damage they deal. Even reducing the enemies' Speed with Decelerator is helpful to a certain extent. When Manigoldo and his allies deal damage to the enemies, his P.DMG Res, C.DMG Res, Max HP, and C.ATK will increase, allowing the lineup to easily recover from disadvantageous situations and boost survivability. On the downside, this configuration limits Manigoldo' Cosmo setup to Blood Elf and Hyacinth, which does not enhance his damage-dealing capacity.

1455 is suitable for the support plus damage-dealer role. Manigoldo can generate Phosphorus Beads through Acubens Pincers and Praesepe Underworld Waves to limit the enemies while dealing damage at the same time. The damage he deals with Praesepe Demonic Blue Flames at the end of each round strengthens Manigoldo, turning him into an indomitable opponent in the late game. This configuration removes the restrictions on Manigoldo's Cosmo setup and makes room for flexibility. Players may directly trigger Praesepe Soul Burial Waves to inflict a heavy blow on the enemies according to the situation on the battlefield.

3555 allows Manigoldo to reach his full potential. He is still able to enhance his P.DMG Res, C.DMG Res, Max HP, and C.ATK passively through Phosphorus Beads. In the meantime, he can also deal devastating damage at the end of each round and end the battle in victory.

Skill Analysis

Acubens Pincers (basic attack skill): Manigoldo launches a basic attack and generates a Phosphorus Bead, which can be put to use in the Artemis Lineup or under Sasha's lead.

Praesepe Underworld Waves (active skill; 1 Energy): Once cast, it will deal AoE damage, restrict the enemies' healing ability, and provide Basic Control Immunity (including Petrification, Freeze, Stun, but excluding Restrict and Exile).

Praesepe Soul Burial Waves (active skill; 3 Energy): By detonating Phosphorus Beads produced by Acubens Pincers, Praesepe Underworld Waves, and the damage dealt by Manigoldo's allies, it restores HP to the ally units and deals damage to the enemies.

Phosphorus Bead (passive skill): This is Manigoldo's core skill. As long as he is present from the start of the battle, damage equal to 20% of the enemies' HP dealt by either Manigoldo or his allies will be converted to a Phosphorus Bead. Each Phosphorus Bead can increase Manigoldo's P.DMG Res, C.DMG Res, Max HP, and C.ATK. Every enemy unit can have up to 3 Phosphorus Beads at any given time.

Hidden Skill: Praesepe Demonic Blue Flames: After the last Saint in Manigoldo's lineup makes their move, the enemy units struck by Praesepe Underworld Waves will take true damage. The more Phosphorus Beads they have, the greater the damage.

Conclusion: Manigoldo is a great support Saint, and his damage-dealing capacity in the late game is also incredible. He can be utilized in all sorts of ways, lending him great strategic significance. Players may place him in the Artemis Lineup, which allows him to launch deadly and swift attacks. He also fits into lineups with high survivability to help them turn situations around.

Recommended Cosmos

1. White Mist, Gilt, Fruits of Strife, Blood Elf

This set of Cosmos put emphasis on Manigoldo's support ability and survivability. Blood Elf lowers the enemies' Defense and boosts Manigoldo's damage absorption ability. (Gilt can be replaced with Morning Glory. Blood Elf can be replaced with Fuchsia.)

2. Dragon's Chant, Morning Glory, Nether, Double-Horned Snake

This set of Cosmos focuses on both attack and defense. The damage from Praesepe Demonic Blue Flames at the end of each round will trigger Double-Horned Snake and deal damage more effectively. (Double-Horned Snake can be replaced with Wind Elf and Fuchsia.)

Recommended Lineups

1. Artemis, Surplice Gemini Saga, Divine Cloth Dohko, Crateris Suikyo, Divine Cloth Capricorn Shura, Manigoldo

This lineup excels at launching high-Speed attacks. Surplice Saga needs Legendary Cosmo Decelerator to lower all enemies' Speed. Divine Cloth Dohko can perform well with any Cosmos. Suikyo should be equipped with Black Widow; Heaven and Earth is best-suited to Divine Shura. Double-Horned Snake enables Manigoldo to focus on a single target and eliminate them swiftly with help from Artemis.

Battle Strategy: At the beginning of the battle, Artemis casts Brilliance, whereas Surplice Saga casts Another Dimension to lower the enemies' Defense and Speed as well as increase the damage they take. Divine Dohko, Suikyo, and Divine Shura launch deadly basic attacks. Manigoldo may directly trigger Praesepe Soul Burial Waves or cast Praesepe Underworld Waves depending on the situation, just so he can deal damage at the end of each round and devastate the enemies.

2. Goddess Sasha, Manigoldo, Thanatos, Pisces Albafica, Queen Persephone, Divine Cloth Taurus Aldebaran

This lineup focuses on survivability. Manigoldo needs to be equipped with Legendary Cosmo Fuchsia. Goddess Sasha needs Mandala. Divine Taurus should be given Blood Elf, while the remaining members will get Fuchsia. Since the lineup can easily recover from disadvantageous situations, Marsh Fairy won't be necessary.

Battle Strategy: In the first round, Sasha creates a barrier to boost Defense, reduce damage, and increase Speed. Manigoldo covers for her and casts Praesepe Underworld Waves to restrict the enemies' healing ability. This is to lay the groundwork for the damage he will deal in later rounds. Thanatos and Persephone mark the enemies through basic attacks according to the situation. Albafica and Divine Taurus launch basic attacks on the enemies as they wish. In the second round, the team will save 2 Energy for Divine Taurus to launch his attack. The remaining Energy is left for other members to do as they please. (Divine Taurus should target the units he can easily kill. Even if he does not succeed, the enemies' HP will be significantly reduced.) After the first 2 rounds, if the enemies fail to get rid of Persephone and Manigoldo, they are not far from their final defeat.

Due to his all-around capabilities, Manigoldo may be placed in various lineups if he is configured to provide support and deal damage at the same time. When paired with AoE attack Saints and high burst attack Saints, his strengths will be further highlighted. His key battle strategy is to accumulate Phosphorus Beads from the damage he dealt to enhance his attributes and deal additional damage at the end of each round. We hope that with this guide, players can fully grasp the mechanics of Cancer Manigoldo sooner and enjoy the game!
