Hi, everyone. Today, we've brought to you Surplice Gemini Saga's training guide:)

Surplice Gemini Saga is a Saint who can develop his strength in two different streams: one is high-Speed, control-focused while the other focuses on moderate Speed and damage-dealing capacity. The detailed explanation is as follows.

Skill Configuration:

<1122>: Low; it encompasses the most basic DEF reduction, ATK reduction, Speed reduction, and damage transfer.

<1155>: Medium; it offers the highest DEF reduction, ATK reduction, Speed reduction, and damage transfer. If the players choose to train Saga in the damage dealer stream, his skills are already adequate.

<1555>: High; it is essential for the control-focused stream, with a drastic increase in the chance of causing Confusion. This setup is good for both control and offense.

<5555>: Max; if the players own many Skill Tomes, they may also max his basic attack, which comes with Status HIT and adds Dimensional Energy.

Recommended Cosmos

1. Dragon's Chant + Nether + Arrow + Heaven and Earth

This set of Cosmos is best-suited to damage-focused Surplice Gemini Saga. With high Pierce, Surplice Gemini Saga's damage-dealing capacity will be maximized. Arrow boosts HP as well as the chance of inflicting Confusion, allowing him to turn the tide even if he in a disadvantaged position.

2. Flower Ring + New Moon + Jadelight + Iris

This set of Cosmos is made for control-focused Surplice Gemini Saga, granting him extremely high Speed. Status HIT provided by Jadelight will increase the chance of inflicting Confusion.

Sub-attribute Selection:

Solar: Dragon's Chant, Flower Ring (Speed, Status HIT)

Lunar: Arrow, Jadelight (Speed, Status HIT)

Star: Nether, New Moon (Speed, Life Steal)

Legendary: Heaven and Earth, Iris (Speed, Life Steal)

Skill Analysis

1. Light-speed Fist - Underworld

Light-speed Fist - Underworld: While Another Dimension - Underworld is active, Saga gains two stacks of Dimensional Energy and 15% Status HIT.

2. Mysterious Devil Punch - Underworld

Mysterious Devil Punch - Underworld: It is a control skill with a chance of inflicting Confusion on the target for two rounds. If Another Dimension - Underworld is active, it has another chance of confusing the enemy.

3. Another Dimension - Underworld

Another Dimension - Underworld: It is a support skill as well as Surplice Gemini Saga's core skill, able to reduce all enemies' ATK, DEF, and Speed. It can also make them pass on 10% of the damage taken to each other.

3.  Galaxy Explosion - Underworld

It is an attack skill that deal multiple instances of damage at random. As the number of attacks increases, the attack count will accumulate up to ten. If Another Dimension - Underworld is active, this skill will be cast once again.

Skill Mechanics - Conclusion:

All four of Surplice Gemini Saga's skills do not appear interconnected because the skills have relatively higher limits and can only be divided into two streams: damage dealer and control. Regardless of which stream the players focus on, they ought to prioritize Skill 3: Another Dimension - Underworld. When it's in effect, the three other skills will be enhanced. Therefore, players must activate Another Dimension - Underworld at the start of the battle before deciding how to cast other skills. On the subject of lineup selection, pick the Saints who excel at AoE attacks. AoE damage can maximize the effect of Another Dimension - Underworld's damage transfer mechanics.

Recommended Lineups

1. Goddess Sasha, Ophiuchus Odysseus, Divine Cloth Libra Dohko, Surplice Gemini Saga, Divine Cloth Andromeda Shun, Divine Cloth Leo Aiolia

This is considered a low-budget lineup. Ophiuchus Odysseus can replace Hypnos or Saori Kido even if he is in his un-awakened form. By using Surplice Gemini Saga's Skill 3 with Divine Cloth Leo Aiolia's AoE damage and Weaken, the lineup can deal considerable damage. Its weakness is its vulnerability to control skills. Hence, players are recommended to ban the common control Saints in the enemy's lineup.

2.  Artemis, Albafica, Surplice Gemini Saga, Crateris Suikyo, Thanatos, Divine Cloth Capricorn Shura

This lineup is perfect for high-level players. With Artemis' Brilliance and Surplice Gemini Saga around, Suikyo's extra damage, Thanatos' Final Might, and Divine Shura's basic attack and Skill 2 are able to deal high burst damage. Its weakness is its vulnerability to Hypnos and damage-focused Divine Camus, both of whom can be banned beforehand.

3.  Goddess Sasha, Hypnos, Divine Cloth Libra Dohko, Surplice Gemini Saga, Underworld Shun, Divine Cloth Capricorn Shura

This is the safest lineup for Surplice Gemini Saga. Sasha and Underworld Shun boost the team's survivability, while the latter can provide Divine Shura extra moves to deal damage. Hypnos, too, allows the lineup to survive longer; he can activate Downfall to disrupt the enemies' Speed at the right moment. Divine Dohko reduces the enemies' ATK and increases the damage they take. Surplice Saga and Divine Shura work alongside each other to deal high AoE damage.

At present, Surplice Gemini Saga has proven himself to be an outstanding fighter. He is best-suited to high-level players, who can utilize him to end battles swiftly and easily recover from disadvantageous situations. If mid or low-level players wish to train him, they can choose to do so in the high-Speed control-focused stream. With Mysterious Devil Punch - Underworld's Confusion effect, they can catch the enemies by surprise. As long as they own enough Double Speed Cosmos, they can afford to train him. This is all for Surplice Gemini Saga's summarized training guide. See you next time.
