Hello lords and ladies. Welcome to another narrative about the battles in Westeros. In recent weeks, we have all experienced one of the main events of GoT WiC: All-Out War (AoW) - an event in which factions compete for dominance of the battle map and the conquest of the central city. Each season promises balanced contests, but in practice, it is always more complex than that.
As always, the current season brought some new features. The main one was that each faction was formed by only two alliances. In addition, the test carried out in the previous season - which generated many complaints - in which 3M of t5 was provided to players who had not yet unlocked such troops, did not return. In addition, new adjustments to the pairing of alliances promised to make the event more balanced...
I personally wasn't very enthusiastic. I consider the event to be very long, and the “random” battle times usually turn me into more of a farmer/builder. At least I try to help my alliance with basic activities and also secure my daily points. It's not the glamour of the front line, but it's what keeps the alliance running. Individual rewards such as attack insignia, dust, etc. are worthwhile.
When the pairing between alliances was over, we all sought to analyze which alliances would be on the battlefield. Well-known names such as FFS, NW1, and ExF came up: experienced alliances with a history and constant presence at major events. But we also had an unfortunate surprise: RoD. The mere presence of that banner completely changed the balance of the map. Would the presence of such an alliance be a bad omen? When alliances have balanced power, the event becomes even fun! But the presence of an alliance with countless whales usually makes the map a real ordeal for the other factions...
Once the adjustments were made, our faction was formed with the EmP alliance. Previously unknown to me, I had only encountered members of this alliance at Arena events or while scouring distant realms. We would fight under the banner of the Tempst faction.
When each faction's position on the map was defined, we were placed next to the Scarlet faction composed of FFS and UTB. This was our old adversary, and we knew they had an advantage over us. Even so, we were willing to fight to the best of our abilities! Attempting neutrality or retreating before the first confrontation was not a real option.
When the event finally began, the first few days consisted of gathering resources, building carriages, and occupying nearby villages in a frantic race! Soon, the twin dragon guards appeared, whose deaths provided us with chests containing some mediocre rewards.
Finally, the first real clash approached. I would be unavailable, so I sent my troops to the place we were trying to keep under our control! When I woke up, I saw the reports that showed a real massacre of my troops! Close to maxed out... my t5 troops simply evaporated with almost no damage! The feeling was one of absolute helplessness! In the following battles, the challenge continued!:O

The clashes against Scarlet continued for the next few battles, occasionally favoring our side. Occasional advances gave us the impression that there was still room to react. But overall, the advantage remained with them.

As the map continued to open up, the worst enemy of all appeared: RoD. Sweeping across the battlefield, led by UrCandy, Meridianos, and company, the faction decimated everyone and consolidated its hegemony without any resistance. They did not choose sides or make agreements. Their goals were simply to eliminate whatever stood in their way. They just advanced. All factions on the map were crushed: buildings and villages fell one after another, and any attempt at resistance seemed irrelevant. It was not a balanced war. It was pure hegemony with no real opposition for us mere mortals.
I was present during one of the attempts to resist this force. Our faction declared war on Outpost 1. As the battle was about to begin, we gathered behind the walls of our fortress. Taking advantage of the novelty, I “bought” commanders Vorian and Daeron 2* to strengthen my two infantry attack lines. My third march, in turn, would be used for support. With a medical cart filled with grain, I formed this march with cavalry (including Mengo) so that the speed of the troops would exceed the speed of enemy troops who might try to attack my healing line.

As the battle was about to begin, we could already see the enemy forces on the horizon. UrCandy, Meridianos, and several mobilization carriages were already in position, waiting for the battle to begin to defend the outpost. Would we be able to face such power?

Before we could even react, the enemy began to move towards the gates of our building. Certain that I would march to my death, I accompanied the attempt along with my companions. The enemy attacks were devastating. The damage was incalculable. We quickly tried to retreat, heal our troops, and return to battle. Even so, our troops were gradually being wiped out. After remounting, we began the long journey from our base to the battlefield. All in vain. The damage we inflicted on the enemy was minimal.
ttack. Retreat. Heal. Attack. Retreat. Heal. – these were the words echoing in my mind. At a certain point, we were all behind our walls. And yet, any step closer to the gates, we were now targeted by Candy and company's archer formations.

There was no alternative but to resign ourselves. Certain battles are decided before they even begin: this was one of them. For the rest of the days, the only activities were limited to obtaining daily points, etc.
At the end of the event, as we all knew, RoD dominated the entire battle map and was crowned champion. For us, all that remains is to move on and pray to the Old Gods to be more benevolent in the next season of AoW.
