The War of the Kingdoms | K182 vs. K55 | Happy new year

Last KvK was quite boring with a lot of gathering and keeping the bubble for Biff as we were matched with an NBe squad surrounding a nearly maxxed player named ‘mml’.

Same procedure as every KvK, we met in discord at reset and checked our opponent.

No time needed to find ‘mml’ standing near Kings Landing in a tiny hive.

Instant reaction was a deep *Ohhh no, we can go to sleep*

Players like ‘mml’ are just too strong for Biff to drop the bubble as he could easy destroy Biff`s defence in a solo attack.

Don’t get this wrong – Biff is a good player with a strong bow castle protected by a female setup consisting of Leila, Salma, Annie, Melisandre and Cersei. Biff`s castle is protected by 17.1 M bowmen – well-structured from tier 2 over tier 3, tier 4 and a good amount of tier 5 troops.

In addition over his 3 years in the Game of Thrones Biff managed to gain a lot of experience in PvP situations and was able to develop a base attack of 48 on his commanders weapons.

So it`s fair to say Biff is ready to fight – when the enemy is worth the risk.

Facing mml we decided to send our troops for a gathering trip and get some rest. *Let`s meet again after a bit of sleep and see what we can do later*

A couple of hours later we came back and were behind in the overall ranking by a good amount as the mml squad was gaining points with troops sitting in their Kings Landing.

*Well, no chance we can kick them* we decided, almost accepting the loss and calling it a day.

But then mml withdraws from Kings Landing activated a bubble and relocated his castle.

*Are they already done? Is this somehow a way of trapping us in some form of action to counterattack with a heavy strike?*

They occupied and reinforced Kings Landing again. We noticed that the player ‘SBC’ placed his best lineup including his Lord in Kings Landing.

As his Lord was not at home, he was a nice target for our strong spear lead ‘Biet’.

*Where is his Castle?* Biet asked.

*Where is mml? Is he really gone?* we were asking ourselves repeatedly.

Then we found the castle of SBC and the guessing continued. *Is this a trap?*

Although the KvK didn't offer a blessing that would bring back lost troops, Biet decided to take the risk and landed a heavy blow on SBC, which brought us level in the rankings.

*Wooohooo, nice one*

*We are back in business*

*Now we`re rolling*

Everyone in discord was exited but still a long way to go and the risk is still real.

Kings Landing was immediately disbanded after the impact on SBC's castle, and a period of waiting and observing began.

Meanwhile everyone but Biet still was doing the boring job of gathering to keep our points grow.

We decided to stay disciplined and avoid unnecessary troop losses.

*Keep the bubble and find your inner farmer* Biet said.

Fortunately, mml was done with KvK and there were no further actions.

We kept up the grind of gathering resources and managed to get the win in the KvK.

But this was just the introduction to the story of Biff`s journey.

Here we go, it`s KvK again – finally.

Will it bring more action for Biff? It is a no death KvK so all the lost troops will be revived and there is basically no big risk involved.

Sure, you still don`t want to give away free points for the enemy when there is a maxxed player, Biff was thinking.

But Biff managed to finish his Daenerys so he was willing to test his upgraded setup.

Now he is running with Leila, Salma, Annie, Daenerys and Cercei.

Nearing time of reset we met again in discord and were waiting for the opponent we must face, hoping it would be more than a boring farm-alliance but no maxxed player.

Tick, tick, tick, reset. And its K55 – the home server of BBs with strong players like DEADP0OL, Drasidae, Anup0521, Stallion65, vorchamaster or Daryl Dixon. In addition, they outnumber us by far, since we are just a small squad and lost one member some weeks ago.

Biff was sure that he could test his upgraded setup during this KvK and was already excited. Acknowledging the strength of the opponent but still confident in his own strength and the strength of the 182 squad.

*This will be fun* he said, still knowing that we need to play smart and precise to compensate our disadvantage in numbers.

*If they play well together, it can be very tough for us* Biet said, showing that he is focused as usual.

We started calm, cool and collected and waited patiently for the opponents move.

We gave them no targets, so they just had some hits on the small castles of our lvl 60 lords.

They decided to capture Kings Landing on K55.

DEADP0OL was leading the capturing of Kings Landing but was only using a secondary lineup and still protecting his own castle with his lord.

Despite the relatively weak formation they reinforced with tier 4 and tier 5 troops to gain good points early.

That`s enough of a mistake or underestimation for Biet to give them a first punishment with a solo strike on Kings Landing.

One quick hit and they were gone and we were in front overall.

Ok, now they know what is waiting for them.

Biet is running a very powerful spear formation pushed by well-developed commanders weapons.

Sure, it`s a no dead KvK but no reason to play in an irresponsible way. If they want to offer gifts, we will take them.

Only one hour later they captured their Kings Landing again with DEADP0OL leading.

*Biff, can you scout KL* Biet asked and Biff already let his spy account bring the needed information.

*It´s an Infantry linup now. But DEADP0OL again has gone without his lord. Are they thinking that bringing your counter will be enough to stop you Biet?* Biff responded and was surprised by this move.

No long hesitation after seeing some more reinforcements rushing into KL, one more update with a spy report and Biet went for his second solo an K55`s Kings Landing.

*Well, that´s not going to work for them, if they keep on with this type of play* Biet calmly recognized after his second easy win.

So we were able to extend our lead and forced K55 to take things seriously if they want to win this KvK.

But Biff was still not involved in a single fight besides observing the scene and discussing the overall strategy.

*It`s to early to force my test* he was thinking. *I can`t afford to lose many points for K182 only to see how good my lineup works in defence.*

So Biff patiently waited for things to develop further and was soon able to join several rallies against players from K55, while making sure his defence is always setup in its best way – meaning that only bows are in his castle waiting for a visit of an opponent.

Skipping forward fast and leaving a lot of action for another story we now reached the final 6 hours of this KvK and Biff had a lot of participation in PvP but still no attack on his own castle. *So are we finishing this KvK without having a nice test of my upgraded setup* he was thinking.

Biff was still hoping that someone would attack him and so he decided to make sure everyone sees him.

He jumped right in front of K55`s Kings Landing, captured the great city and said to himself *Ok, I´m here and waiting for things to come. There is nothing more I can do.*

So he waited and asked in world chat if someone wants to rally him, but nothing happened until...

*Yeeeees! It works as intended* he was saying and having a smile on his face.

Stallion65 came with a strong Infantry lineup using bleed synergy but had no chance against Biff`s female setup and the 17.1M bowmen.

But Biff already knew that he could defend against strong Infantry players. Will there be another hit?

And yes, there was another hit. Anup0521 came with a strong spear line with well-developed commanders’ weapons and gave Biff a serious test of his defence. It`s fair to say that Anup0521 obviously was running out of high tier troops as he added a lot of t1`s in his attack but it was still a strong attack and a great test for Biff.

Biff got what he wanted and was happy with the results of his defences.

After a long and eventful KvK he decided to move back to 182, activate a bubble, call it a successful day and get some rest for diamond day.
