The match witnessed between ROD and OBV gave much to reflect upon.

Seeing an alliance being defeated in such a crushing way after they had managed to reach the playoffs thanks to teamwork made the HOH member reconsider: sometimes that is not enough, if a group is stronger it is simply destined to win.

With this awareness, the members of K345 were about to face the event that arrived today, one of those where the strength of the individual would drag the destinies of the group member and where the support of allies was essential to triumph.

The time had come for…

Champion City Siege!

The members of K345 who arrived on the battlefield immediately joined forces with AfV under the leadership of STRAW BERRY who, to reach the first place in the possession ranking, was always willing to host fighters willing to sacrifice their troops for the cause.

“Our goal will be to secure the 60 battle diamonds, then we’ll see how the situation evolves,” said Neik to his group. Caution and playing it safe was a wise move on their part after seeing with their own eyes what their ally for today was capable of. “I agree, I wouldn’t say we should exhaust our resources,” added Ferrious. Despite the Siege of Winterfell Playoffs still being ongoing, new events were on the horizon like Glorious Battle and the War between Kingdoms, both of which could be very costly and it was necessary to be frugal with one’s resources.

Facing AfV today on the battlefield to secure a spot on the podium, there were certainly two alliances to keep an eye on:

The antagonist of the main match was without a doubt Arthurion, flanked by his alliance xNx, of which Env0y was also a part. The group, known for being a tough opponent, was densely deployed on the battlefield and ready to support their leader in command until the end.

The second noteworthy group was that of DUM. Leading them were incredible warriors of the caliber of MASAO and xxVerzardxx. Despite their number being modest, their attacks would surely give a hard time to anyone defending the city.

The beginning of the dances was imminent, the howling of wolves in the distance echoed through the air like a sign that something was about to happen. The gray sky and the almost winter-like cold that penetrated to the bones of the fighters deployed on the battlefield would serve as the backdrop for the imminent war.

When the 60 minutes of battle began, the fastest fighter to reach the city walls and take possession was… STRAW BERRY! The member of WxD once again demonstrated his superhuman speed, managing to anticipate everyone else in just a few moments.

The immediate reinforcement from the members of AfV managed to prevent the possession from changing from the very first phases. In a few moments, the city was supported by its allies. Thanks to this, the first blows received from the members of xNx, despite the heavy damage, were repelled.

The waves of attacks severely damaged STRAW BERRY’s defenses, who, however, thanks to his incredible strength and the help of his companions who were doing an incredible job supporting him, managed to remain firmly in command of the city.

Neik, who knew of AfV’s leader’s abilities, was once again amazed by his improvements in such a short time; he had now reached a level that was practically unbeatable for him. Despite this, an almost insane idea flashed in the HOH member’s mind: “What do you think if we try to get a higher number of eliminations by launching some attacks ourselves?” he said to his group. None of them, however, were surprised by the completely unexpected proposal: they had reached the goal of 60 Battle diamonds and knew how much the ally liked to test his abilities. “Alright, let’s do it!” replied Ferrious with the support of all the allies.

The group, thus, gathered under FeR’s banner, decided to launch assaults with Neik leading them. The HOH member wanted to test his abilities against a rival of such caliber and had the troop counter on his side with Spears against enemy Cavs. When the assault reached its destination… it was a massacre suffered by the group! STRAW BERRY’s Cavs literally annihilated the attacker’s troops.

“Let’s try again,” Neik immediately said to his allies, convinced he could do better. The group, also optimistic, without losing a second, entrusted their Spears to the HOH member again to be led in the assault. And they were right! The strike carried out this time, mixed with a bit of luck and the numerical superiority brought, caused notable damage to the defensive troops.

Sensing the rival’s blood, another assault was organized. Getting the highest number of eliminations possible was what the fighters fighting in Champion City Siege aspired to. But this time the battle did not go as hoped. Adequately reinforced, the Cavs led by STRAW BERRY dealt a harsh lesson to Neik’s Spears, who once again suffered a painful defeat.

Following this, the group’s decision was to wait for a target more within their reach: although some sieges could be effective with a bit of luck attacking at the right moment, it was also true that it was very easy to end up crashing against the city walls if they were adequately reinforced.

When the first place of the match was secured by AfV’s leader, the decision was to put MondryBogdan, one of the candidates chosen by their group, to obtain one of the two spots on the final podium.

“I think we can do some damage to this opponent,” commented Neik. “I agree, let’s hit him,” replied Ferrious.

The rally hastily organized, carrying the optimism of their allies of being able to achieve a significant number of eliminations, thus began and in a few moments reached the city walls, and… it was a success! The strike carried out inflicted heavy damage on the defender who, despite his fame as a great warrior, could do nothing because he was not adequately reinforced.

Just as the HOH group was preparing to strike the rival again, an unexpected event occurred! The possession of the city was left to Sylica, yet another member of AfV. The decision was made due to the absence of suitable troops to reinforce the previous holder, whereas this was not a problem for the current one, who favored fighting with Inf and his Bleeding formation, not exactly an ideal target for Neik.

“I think it’s your moment,” he said, addressing Ferrious, who didn’t need to be told twice, immediately starting to gather her allied Inf as well. It would be a battle with an unpredictable outcome where neither target would counter the other.

When the assault landed, the result was incredibly… positive! Sylica’s well-known combat skills, recognized among the best fighters in Westeros, could do nothing against the fierce leadership of the rival who commanded the troops excellently, annihilating the defensive ones!

In the following phases, strike after strike was carried out always by the HOH fighter, who did not want to miss such an opportunity to gain merit points and eliminations, crucial for being recognized among the most fearsome warriors of Westeros. The attacks were ruthless.

In the final phases of the match, with the possession ranking now consolidated by AfV, the city was abandoned and Env0y, member of xNx, took command. “I would like to attempt one last attack,” said Ferrious to her companions, curious to see how a clash between them would go. “Let’s go,” replied Neik, confident in the fighting abilities of his ally.

The final attack carried out by the K345 group was once again extremely successful.

Env0y’s Inf were put to the test by the offensive troops led by the HOH fighter. Today, Ferrious demonstrated great combat skills, leading the allied troops in incredible assaults against very high-level members like Sylica and the latter.

The occupation ranking, as expected, showed AfV’s dominance over the city. First place, firmly under the command of STRAW BERRY, who was never in danger of losing it, was followed by Sylica and MondryBogdan, both his allies. They once again demonstrated how having a large group fighting by one’s side was essential to achieve certain goals.

The eliminations leaderboard showed AKARi at the bottom of the podium, ahead of him Env0y of xNx, but dominating even him was only one name: STRAW BERRY.

“Reaching the rewards was our goal, but the eliminations and merit points obtained were the cherry on top. For this, we must thank Ferrious who carried our match,” said Neik, praising his ally. “I could have done nothing without the troops of each of us,” she replied, extending the praise to the group’s companions during the return to K345.

Another battle had been left behind, very profitable. Thanks to it, they would be able to improve their equipment to arrive at the next clashes even more prepared. What will be their next adventure? We will find out together, soon!
