Champion City Siege | Season 44 | K345 fighting for the glory!

The long-awaited 44th season of Champion City Siege has finally arrived! Neik's group from the K345 kingdom was ready to participate in the event with all their might. By their side, as always, were their lifelong friends and battle companions Ferrious, Ms Mayhem.

The event, as they well knew, presented significant challenges: the presence of only four members for the HOH group represented a considerable disadvantage when facing well-organized enemies who aimed to secure top positions in the event. These top positions guaranteed rewards that all fighters joining the battle sought to receive, but only a few managed to obtain them.

The goal of the K345 group was to test their skills on the battlefield, facing rivals whose experience and combat abilities in this type of battle were unparalleled, and to strive to obtain the 60 Battle Diamonds. The accumulation of these coveted gems was crucial to empower their armor pieces, serving as the minimum prize that any warrior aspired to receive on the day of the battle in the lands of Champion City Siege.

"Do you think we'll manage to get the Battle Diamonds this time?" Ferrious asked thoughtfully as the small group headed towards the battlefield at Tempest-Keep.

"I believe that if we can flawlessly execute our tactics, we have nothing to fear," replied Neik.

Mayhem, drawing on her battlefield experience, joined the conversation and decided to review the plans with the group. "We'll focus solely on counter-attacks. Depending on which enemy is defending the castle, we'll conduct a reconnaissance, and then decide who among us should lead the assault," she said.

Their strategy seemed simple, perhaps a bit conceding, as it was unlikely to maintain control of the position in this way. However, the group was aware that with only four members available, winning this type of event was improbable. The alliance member who could maintain control for the majority of the time would lead their group to final victory. Yet, to achieve this, massive support from comrades was indispensable. Therefore, the goal of the K345 group was not to secure the ultimate victory.

As Neik wondered about the groups they would have to face this time, and once they arrived on the battlefield, his questions found answers...

The opponents to face were three groups: each of them included members of absolute skill, such as BARLAB and ImMorTaL in the CCS group, or StarrySunset in the WTF group. They were formidable adversaries, well-supported by numerous allies, and they would undoubtedly vie for the conqueror's throne in this season!

An intense battle loomed ahead, with the incessant rain falling on the battlefield, making even the simplest movements challenging for the fighters. The weather could play a crucial role in the challenges, adding an extra layer of complexity to the clashes.

In the first phase of the long battle, it was BARLAB from the CCS group who secured the initial possession of the castle, one of the most feared members within it. Mayhem, familiar with the combat abilities of the enemy, immediately revealed to the companions the formation used by BARLAB: "He prefers to fight using a Female-Cav formation."

"I'll take care of it," Neik responded. Even though it was an opponent with combat abilities well above average, he was the perfect target for his Weakness-Spear formation. Without wasting a second, he initiated the attacks, supported by the troops of his companions.

The rallies launched by the HOH members were mostly successful. The enemy, countered perfectly in terms of troop type and formation, was defeated in the majority of the battles. However, they continued to maintain control of the castle. Individual attacks proved insufficient to break the enemy, who, with each defeat, was rapidly reinforced by their companions.

During the last siege led by Neik, they simultaneously struck the troops of other groups present on the battlefield and managed to break BARLAB's control. The castle, during this phase, remained vacant for a long period without a fighter capable of taking control. Achieving possession of it was a daunting task. In addition to timing the assaults perfectly against all rivals, it was crucial to reinforce as many allies as possible to repel competitors attempting the siege without giving them time to be reinforced.

This was precisely what happened to Star Queen, once again from the CCS group. After capturing the coveted fortress, she encountered the fierce attack from Ferrious:

The victory was overwhelming as the Weakness-Inf formation of the K345 group's fighter once again perfectly countered the Spear formation of her rival. However, she too was eventually repelled, this time by another adversary: ImMoRTaL. He managed to gain control of the fortress.

"He hit me hard with his Cavs," she revealed to her companions once back by their side.

After a prolonged stalemate, where MondryBogdan from VME managed to capture the castle several times, ImMoRTaL once again seized control after being confronted earlier by Ferrious.

"It seems once again like the opponent suited for you," Mayhem said to Neik, who wasted no time and launched an attack against his rival:

The number of troops lost was exceptionally high, prompting the rival group to instantly change the defending member of the fortress to avoid further losses at the hands of Neik's Spears. It switched to nobrownie, who, upon reconnaissance, was revealed to be a formidable opponent specializing in Inf, making him a challenging adversary for the HOH member.

"It looks like it's your turn," Ferrious said to Mayhem.

"Finally!" she exclaimed, eager to demonstrate her skills on the battlefield. Thus, she initiated her rallies with all allied Cavs and launched the attack!

The long series of attacks carried out by the HOH fighter demonstrated her vast battlefield experience, causing carnage among the rival troops. They were forced to send reinforcements incessantly, as each strike by Mayhem was brutal.

"I think we can stop," Neik said after yet another attack. Conserving strength for the upcoming rounds of Alliance Conquest was crucial, as the goal for the K345 group was to obtain the 60 Battle Diamonds, and that objective was well within reach.

"I agree," added Ferrious.

Thus, a weary Mayhem, after the extended series of attacks, decided that her companions were right and ended the sieges. Their battle concluded here, and they observed the last minutes of the battle among the remaining groups.

At the end of the timer, the final result declared the group of CCS as the victorious ones!

The title of Champion Conqueror for Tempest-Keep was awarded to BARLAB!

CCS secured the first two positions in the occupation time ranking, followed by MondryBogdan for VME.

The kills ranking, on the other hand, consistently saw a CCS member in the first position, followed by MondryBogdan, with Mayhem completing the podium in the third position! The notable absence during the conflict was the members of WTF, who did not participate in the battle as expected.

Returning to K345, the HOH group was satisfied with the final positions achieved along with the rewards. All in all, it was a good achievement for such a small group. Their next event would be contested with their alliance in the second round of Alliance Conquest, and the time to prepare for it was not much. They needed to recover their energy and the troops lost today as soon as possible!
