Today I want to share with you all the upcoming lightning tank, Tokugawa Ieyasu

Introduction

Tokugawa Ieyasu can be obtained from the KvK chest or a special bundle of “immortal glory”, similar to other KvK immortals. This immortal will only be available from Conquest 2 onwards.

Tokugawa Ieyasu’s skill: Crackling Thunder

Winter Passage is a skill that creates a shield for all units that absorb 300% physical damage and lasts for 6 seconds. It also provides a debuff to an opponent that attacks ally immortals with this shield. The debuff could be 10% increased damage taken, damage dealt decrease, attack speed decrease, or energy regeneration speed decrease for 6 seconds.

Best immortal to pair with Margaret: Hammurabi

Hammurabi is the best backline immortal I would pick to pair with Tokugawa Ieyasu. Hammurabi’s ultimate skill The Final Judgement scales off negative effects, whereby every negative effect will multiply its skill by 15%.

With 3 negative effects, The Final Judgement will have a scaling of 350%*1.45=507% magical damage.

Core skills for Tokugawa Ieyasu

Fighting master enables Tokugawa Ieyasu to ignore crowd control and also reduces incoming damage. This skill is vital for fighting teams that revolve around crowd control, e.g. lightning, water, earth and shadow.

Adrenaline Rush is an essential skill for Tokugawa Ieyasu. Even though he has the slowest attack speed in-game as a tank immortal, the adrenaline rush helps him cast Crackling Thunder as often as possible to protect the whole team.  

Coercion will reduce the dodge rate of the enemy team, hence lowering the chance of Tokugawa Ieyasu missing his normal attacks. This will maximize the usage of Adrenaline Rush.

Conclusion

Tokugawa Ieyasu is a new introduction that will counter the physical damage meta of Alex, Hannibal, and the Holy team. He will cost around 400 USD max from special bundles excluding the KvK chest.
