Welcome to my article today. I will be discussing the new event, Mercantile Path, which got introduced in the latest patch version 2.2. 

Introduction

Mercantile Path can be a solo or rally event depending on how strong you are. You can organize the size of the caravan you want to escort, and invite alliance members that are close to your territory to complete the event together.

How do I play this event?

To be honest this event is a little too easy and a little rigid in terms of alliance members' territory having to be close together if you want to rally. There is also a weird limit where you can only escort one caravan at a time, so if you help your friend, you won't be able to start your own caravan. With how long the process is and how easy it is to escort a caravan, it is almost not advisable to rally and better off to play this event solo.

So what I personally do is use my second march to do this event while I use my main march to raid gnomes, as the duration of escorting the caravan can be quite long. 

Your caravan will go on a resting state after every ambush. From there, it is recommended that you click the refill to fill up your march then press ‘dispatch now’ to skip the resting phase.

This will repeat for about 6 times and If you are online to click the refill and dispatch, you should only lose around 2k troops and take a total of less than 10minutes to complete one cycle. Every day you can participate in this event 6 times for a total of 12 elite forging material chest and 24 rare forging material chest.

Conclusion

This event isn’t really the best in terms of total reward provided but I will take anything free haha. It lasts for 3 days and in total you can get 36 elite forging material chest and 72 rare forging material chest if you do all 6 attempts everyday. This roughly translates into 3 purple artifacts and 6 blue artifacts, about 600 artifact exp worth.
