Only a few days until the next War of the Kingdoms event begins in the land of Westeros as part of the browser game, Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming! So to whet everyone's appetites for July 2022, here is the news for the June War of the Kingdom’s event from our very own favourite alliance, ACM’s perspective!

The War of the KIngdoms is a truly wonderful event for all players to participate in and have a great deal of fun simultaneously. The War of the Kingdoms of KvK is a fondly shortened name for the event comprising many ways for a player to win kudos and fame during their play in the two day event. The War of the Kingdoms event lasts for a total of two days which have different objectives each day of the event. In Day 1 of the event, two kingdoms are pitched against each other and like many events including Glorious Battle, requires cooperation between all players on one kingdom to earn more points than their opposing Kingdom. Whichever kingdom earns the most points during the twenty hour period for Day 1 earns additional rewards on Day 2. On Day 1, players can earn points by several different methods. Players can kill or eliminate troops of the opposing kingdom either at an enemy kingdom player’s castle in their kingdom or the opposing kingdom or by holding the great cities for as long as possible. The great cities available to occupy are: King’s Landing, Storm’s End, Pyke, Eyrie, Riverrun, Casterly Rock, Sunspear, Winterfell and last of all, Highgarden. These great cities can be held on both kingdoms by players involved in that particular War of the Kingdoms and sometimes other players from other kingdoms occupy them too. Points gained from holding King’s Landing are the most in the War of the Kingdoms event. Another way to earn points for your kingdom is to gather resources using as many troop deployments that a player can access. Collecting gold and iron is the most point wise followed by the other resources: wood, stone and lastly grain. Some kingdoms designate roles to players according to their willingness to fight on Day 1 of the War of the Kingdoms. Earning points for a player can also be lucrative too, up until a player earns over four million points, there are rewards available for a player to collect and in an alliance if over forty-five million is earned there are alliance rewards too. The rewards can be Mountain clan equipment pieces as well as the troop appearance, Black Ear warrior amongst others. These are very useful for developing accounts looking to complete various stats within the browser game, Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming. On Day 2, a victorious kingdom is eligible to collect for a twenty-four period, blue diamonds from blue diamond mines from levels one to five but if defeated, a kingdom only has levels 1-3 blue diamond mines to collect blue diamonds from.

So let’s get on with the relevant points that happened in the June War of the Kingdoms event. K57 were matched against K113 for the June War of the Kingdoms event. Six hours into the event (Image 1), K57 were over sixty million points behind K113. K113 was holding the majority of the great cities in both kingdoms in this War of the Kingdoms too.

After about an hour and half, ACM were making waves in the War of the Kingdom too. ACM were holding a number of great cities too. ACM were holding Highgarden, Casterly Rock, Riverrun, King’s Landing and Eyrie on K283 (Images 2-6) . Absolutely amazing work ACM!

ACM did not hold all these cities for long. ACM are proud to say they held these cities for at least ten minutes each which is great considering ACM is a relatively small alliance spread over a few kingdoms. At 1007am GMT server time, ACM reached fifteen million points in the June War of the Kingdoms which is their best ever score at ten hours into the event. Five minutes later, CTN, the top alliance in K57 starts fighting for the great cities which is great news for the rest of K57 who do not have that kind of fighting power. CTN recaptures K113 Winterfell and Sunspear from K113 players. Feeling great about themselves, between 0852am server time and 1024am server time, ACM occupied the following great cities on K283: Eyrie, Storm’s End and Riverrun (Images 7-9).

At 1058am server time, CTN still has Winterfell and Sunspear on K113 still. Forty minutes later, ACM reached twenty million alliance kvk points and k57 has nearly half a  billion kvk points whereas k113 has nearly eight hundred thousand points more. ACM occupied King’s Landing between 1106am server time on K283 and lost it at 1109am server time. By 1143am server time, K113 had regained all their great cities. A minute later, K57 reaches half a billion points. Yay!

Within ten minutes of play, K57 has regained all their great cities from K113 by the actions of CTN, R2N and IrB. At 1204pm server time, Duke Nacoya of ACM has earned the maximum number of rewards a player can achieve on their own in the War of the Kingdoms. From 1408pm server time, ACM occupied these great cities on K283: King’s Landing, Eyrie and Riverrun. ACM loses them for a short period of time and recaptures them again on and off for about another hour of play which is truly awesome of the ACM players involved. Despite being defeated in this War of the Kingdoms (Image 10), ACM reaches fifty-four million alliance kvk points and ranks 10the best alliance. Looking forward to the July KvK……
