In this article we are going to learn how to obtain Hannibal, how his ability works and its synergies, which skills work well with him and some tips.

How to Obtain

Hannibal can be obtained through multiple methods, he is obtainable from Hall of Immortals, Miracles of Goddess or from the Lucky Spin, an event that happens every two weeks, expect to spend at least 15,000 gems to obtain Hannibal in the lucky spin (Later I will write a full guide on that event).

Hannibal's Ability

Howling Blast is a very powerful ability that enables Barca to generate tremendous damage, and also cause extra damage to surrounding opponents. This ability has a special synergy with Emeperor's Qin ability, which increases all your team immortal's attack speed and also add another cleave effect with 50% damage modifier. With higher attack speed, Hannibal's cleave will trigger faster and consequently increase the value that you get from it.

To put the cherry on the top, Hannibal has one of the most powerful exclusive artifact in the game, which adds a unique effect to his ability. This effect will make Howling Blast to become a passive ability, which basically can no longer be cancelled or stopped.

Good Skills

One of the great selling points for Barca is that he can generate great value from skills that are not essential to other marches, such as Combo, Cleave, or any other skill that is highly reliant on your immortal attack rate. This makes Barca and the whole wind team a prime pick for your second or third march. In this guide I will present a very effective skill combo based on this wind formation: Baldwin IV, Qin Emperor, Saladin and Hannibal Barca.

• Cleave is the very first skill that you should take in consideration when building your barca, he will be hitting fast, and he has bonus damage output, which will also increase the damage done by Cleave. This is specially good if you your Exclusive Artifact has attack speed special attribute.

• Anger: another skill that will further increase the destruction that your Hannibal will cause is Anger, which adds another 30% damage output on top of your normal attack, cleave and Howling Blast.

• Berserk: the third skill is always very relative, my personal taste is to usually utilize an aura that further enhances Barcas's offensive capability, and this is the one that has the best synergy in my opinion, because this skill will further increase their hit frequency, and consequently increase the activation rate of your cleave and all other activation skills, and on top of all that Berserk will also add up to 30% normal attack life steal.

Honorable mentions: combo is another attack based activation skill, and it is also a very good option if any of these skills are already in use in another march. Another great option is to obtain Wind Protection, which will add a touch of sustainability for your team. Other auras such as Weakness and Coercion can also provide great results for offensive capability. Here is an example of the build above in action.
